It was my wife’s birthday 27 June

It was my wife’s birthday 27 June. There was a party at my wife’s sister’s house 27/06/25.
Paid for balloons & delivery for party date, this was the day of my wife’s BIG birthday celebration.
I paid for delivery & product. Web site said to expect the balloons on the day I paid a lot of money for, 27 June, my wife’s birthday and party.
Balloon’s turned up at 3pm the next day. Birthday & party over. I had a moan via email. Clare said they arrived on time? After a number of emails Clare admitted they were late and reimbursed the postage. BIG deal. Clare knew they were in the wrong. Then a fella called Scott piped up. Said he was taking over emails? Scott said they have terms & conditions and I should have read? I sent a reply saying sending expensive balloons is not rocket science. They sent their product a day later than I paid for and it was wasted money. Did not hear back from Scott though he said he would follow up?
My view wasted money, do not do as I did and pay a lot of money for simple balloons if you have a certain date in mind. Find a local shop.

You ordered balloons for the 27th, we accept that they were delivered a day later on the 28th by DPD and have apologised and refunded your postage as per our terms.

98% of DPD deliveries are on time but it is clear in our terms that the delivery date is not guaranteed, delays in transit can happen.

What our team has had to endure from you as part of this is unacceptable. Multiple overtly rude, aggressive, bombastic emails that were a clear attempt to try and intimidate people into a different result. We have ended communication with you as it's clearly not getting anywhere.
