Shocking level of customer service and customer rights
STW failed their data protection obligations by not fulfilling a subject access request (SAR) within the time frame currently set by GDPR and inline with the Data Protection Act 2018
They accepted they didn’t meet the standard and simply said sorry for infringing on a customers data protection rights.
They have “respectfully” declined the offer of any compensation for this poor level
Complaint now raised with the Information Commisioners Office for investigation and hopefully the recording of an infringement against STW
No care for customers or accountability for their actions, especially when they have admitted their staff didn’t do their job properly and they will be retrained
Update 03/11/2025 - did not get in touch as per their reply. Clearly said this just to look good, worse water company ever!
