RTC pathway - excellent clinical team
The RTC assessment process was really well handled, and Roza and team did a great job of explaining what was happening and why. When the assessment results were delivered Roza gave me ample time to digest them, as well as explaining in detail all the relevant points.
The interactions with the clinical staff were very supportive and positive, which was appreciated in a fairly stressful time.
The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I felt some of the initial communication was lacking - for example when using equivalent services I have been able to get in contact and get an estimate for how far through the waiting list I am, but that wasn't available here.
I also thought from the wording on comms that I'd be contacted to select appointment dates, but was just sent some dates instead. I was able to cancel work to make one of them, but it did leave me missing a day of client work as I believe trying to reschedule would have put me back into the queue, causing more delays.
Timeline for RTC pathway from first contact to discharge was approx 7 months.
To summarise, client-facing comms had room to be clearer and more patient-focused. But overall, very happy, especially with the clinical team and their professionalism and patient care.
