Im an adult recently diagnosed with Autism through evolve. I struggle talking to strangers but Billy and Leese were absolutely wonderful. They got me talking and opening up about myself and I cant thank them enough for making me feel at ease. Fantastic service and what was an overwhelming thing made so much easier.

Cherrida crew is amazing she made my daughter and I feel so at ease and the whole process for dyscalculia and dyslexia assessment went smoothly. She is very professional kept open lines of communication and the reports was worth spending every penny on - being comprehensive, thorough and informative. It has really helpped my daughter get the extra support she needs in education. I cannot recommend the company or Cherrida enough. Thank you.

I went with evolve through RTC for an autism assessment for my 7 year old. They were amazing from start to finish. Very professional, very thorough and very understanding! I was convinced we wouldn't get a diagnosis because my child is a very high masker, but they were able to see through that and picked up on things in school that I wouldn't have ever thought of! Such an amazing place and a fantastic service. Eternally grateful for the thoroughness of their assessment.

I have arrived at Evolve Exeter with my 14 year old for a combined AutismADHD Assessment, it is in an office block and my daughter has been taken in but parents cannot attend as they have no waiting space, we are also not allowed to leave the building so I am sat in an office block reception with 5 seats for 2 hours. It feels awful to watch an anxious child be led away and I would like to be on hand, introduced to assessment staff, or even on the same floor. I don’t even know the name or role of the person that has taken her up. So my initial reaction is disappointment.

From start to finished I felt listened to and respected. I was given clear instructions/definitions to things if/when needed. My personal 'issues' were never used against me in anyway. The staff I have spoken to here have been incredible and amazing to speak with. Response time to emails have always been great here too, never did I wait longer than 48 hours unless it was between a Friday and Monday. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needed help getting a diagnosis.

RTC is quicker than the NHS who are now going down the route of Needs Led assessment before an assessment can be offered. Waited around 18 months for a combined assessment which is good given waiting times.
Agree with some of the reviews regarding communication it is poor and could be improved.
Assessment wise - The team were great particularly Anna. Thank you for your empathy and kind words. They were great with my son.
The report was very detailed. Windsor House is a beautiful building and easy to find.

My GP practice made a referral in May 2025 for my son but omitted to state what the referral was for. Evolve did not inform the GP practice at any point to notify the referral form was incomplete and I discovered this in January 2026 and we are now at the back of the waiting list. If making a referral please check they have received and accepted it as otherwise you won't be made aware as they 'don't have time to chase this up'. Appalling service so far, and sadly further negative impact and delay for my son.

As a social worker with over 21 years post qualifying experience, I've thankfully not encountered such a lack of responsibility or respect for potential clients. I hope this review helps others avoid any further disappointment and delay for their child.

Evolve have been brilliant start to finish. Highly professional and approachable. My daughter and I were made to feel comfortable and at ease throughout the assessment process. All stages of the assessment, including what to expect during and afterwards, were explained clearly and thoroughly.

Sarah and Stacey were both courteous, supportive, and extremely thorough. They took the time to listen carefully and ensured that our concerns were fully addressed. Although my daughter felt apprehensive prior to the assessment, she later expressed how comfortable she felt with Stacey and spoke very positively about her experience.

The online portal is clear, use friendly, and easy to navigate.

The follow up appointment was equally well managed. All findings were explained in detail, and we were provided with clear information regarding available support, where to access it, and additional resources. This included written materials and a follow up email containing all relevant information.

Overall, the experience was smooth, well-organised, and reassuring. We are currently awaiting the final report. Our sincere thanks to Sarah and Stacey for their professionalism and care and finally having a diagnose will be life changing for my daughter.

I wouldn’t recommend for Right to choose, it’s very much the feeling of a second class service maybe third!

Newcastle clinic is not sign posted or even on the entry into the door, we got lost. You wouldn’t know it was evolve part from the lanyard the practitioner was wearing. Horrible location and crazy one way systems, not neuro diverse friendly at all!!!! . The practitioner was lovely helping us get there and my daughter had a good assessment. But no information about what they were doing.

Really cross to discover that RTC you have to wait a month between appointments total of 3 child, history & feedback. You have to wait to be booked in so I reckon it will be longer. On top of an 18 month wait.
Communication is really poor. My portal says adhd when my daughter is having an autism assessment.

So so disappointed, wish we hadn’t chosen them and generally have no faith in their process as it’s illogical to have an assessment spread out over three months. I was told today this is the process for rtc and private customers don’t get this. Even the practitioner said to me the next appointment should be in two weeks as it’s best practice. She must have thought we were private.

Perhaps was once a great service, now feels like a cash cow for the company to get money out rod the gps. Honestly completely gutted and anxious that we are getting a substandard assessment.

From start to finish this has been such a smooth, easy and quick process
Staff were lovely. Meetings were accessed easily and emails were prompt with website easy to use

The RTC assessment process was really well handled, and Roza and team did a great job of explaining what was happening and why. When the assessment results were delivered Roza gave me ample time to digest them, as well as explaining in detail all the relevant points.

The interactions with the clinical staff were very supportive and positive, which was appreciated in a fairly stressful time.

The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I felt some of the initial communication was lacking - for example when using equivalent services I have been able to get in contact and get an estimate for how far through the waiting list I am, but that wasn't available here.

I also thought from the wording on comms that I'd be contacted to select appointment dates, but was just sent some dates instead. I was able to cancel work to make one of them, but it did leave me missing a day of client work as I believe trying to reschedule would have put me back into the queue, causing more delays.

Timeline for RTC pathway from first contact to discharge was approx 7 months.

To summarise, client-facing comms had room to be clearer and more patient-focused. But overall, very happy, especially with the clinical team and their professionalism and patient care.

we have been waiting nearly 2 years for my daughter to be assessed. They lost the original paperwork twice which is apparently the cause of the delay. they said if the doctor wrote a letter it would get sped up for assessment as her struggles are terrible and a danger to herself and to others, letter was sent in and it was dismissed. They are now want a police report to possibly speed up assessment. I don’t think they are interested in helping young people. they don’t get in touch I have to chase and then I get fobbed off. I think they are only interested if you can afford to go private. very disappointed with this service.

AVOID, this company have not only ignored us via Email, but they also lost the referral forms the doctors issued 22nd November 2023, then they lost the paperwork we had to send back, when they made contact.

They promised to look after us, however this was not true.

They sent us to Norwich from Leeds for an assessment.

Our Daughters case was passed from case worker to case worker; there was never one person we could contact, we felt forgotten about.

I wrote to the company director on the 21st Jan 2025 requesting they remove our daughter from there system, so we could seek help elsewhere, to no reply.

The whole experience went on for 3 years!

A 2nd assessment was also made at school only because they could not decide, however they never spoke to us.

When the results finally came back in 16th December 2025 it was negative despite having schools backing, NHS documentations and other health assessments, they claimed after all this time there is nothing wrong with our daughter, claiming she has no difficulties and the other assessments are questionable.

She currently has DLD with suspected Dyslexia and has daily visible struggles, it’s hard for us parents to find out what’s wrong especially when the school have concerns too, so this report showed no empathy, it was hurtful, untrue and showed no support or had any recommendations to support us.

When we asked if they investigated all the spectrums of autism, there response was just autism!

Overall, the only person here suffering is our daughter, we have had to go back to the doctors with school’s backing due the clear visible concerns .

We never got the option to choose another company when the doctors referred us, they did this for us, had we known at the time, we would have stayed fair away from this company and found help elsewhere.

This company doesn’t show any compassion at all, just incompetence, time wasting, and a complete waste for the NHS’s money.

We asked them to call us to discuss the matter, but they claimed they have tried to call and left messages, however we have had nothing so I had no option but to leave an honest review.

Evolve have been amazing. I can not fault them in any area. Informative and extremely understanding.

Evolve have been amazing from start to finish! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and my daughter left her first assessment and kept asking when she would get to go back because she enjoyed it so much!

Diane Fox in particular I found so pleasant! I had Diane for both my assessments without my daughter and she was so friendly and calming. I had plenty tears on the call to Diane and she was so patient, understanding and accommodating with me! She was super helpful with every aspect and kept double checking she’d done everything to make sure I was happy and content. She explained everything in so much detail and really broke down my daughter’s diagnosis for me! She followed up with emails after as-well including additional information and support!

Such a pleasant experience from evolve!!
