Difficulty in obtaining refunds

I’m really disappointed and won’t be using EverUp again. As many previous customers have mentioned, getting a refund is extremely difficult.

I requested a refund for my B&Q gift card after discovering it can’t be used for third-party sellers. The process has been frustrating, with unnecessary hoops to jump through just to try and resolve the issue.

What feels especially unfair is the apparent inconsistency in EverUp’s refund policy. Some customers seem to receive refunds without issue, while others are refused. That lack of transparency and consistency is incredibly disappointing and undermines trust!!!

In general, obtaining a refund for a gift card is often complex. Whether a refund can be granted depends primarily on the individual brand’s policy, as the funds are issued and controlled by the retailer. Each brand applies its own rules, which means some refunds can be processed quickly, while others may require additional checks or may not be possible at all.
Gift cards are typically treated as branded monetary value and, once purchased, are usually non-refundable. This is outlined in our Terms and Conditions and reflects standard industry practice. For this reason, we always recommend reviewing the brand’s specific terms — including any restrictions on usage or refunds — before completing a purchase.
