Avoid AXA: Negligent, Defamatory, and Biased Service
I had a terrible experience with AXA after an accident where I was the victim. Despite providing full dashcam footage and third-party details, AXA ignored my evidence and sided with the at-fault driver. Without my knowledge, they recorded the accident as my fault in their database, which I only discovered a year later through a new insurer.
It took weeks of back-and-forth and a three-way conference call where I had to threaten legal action for defamation before they finally corrected their records. Their refusal to look at clear evidence and their lack of transparency was appalling. I strongly believe their decision-making was fueled by bias and a complete lack of professional integrity. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
This incident happened on 05/04/24 and was stated as my fault on their database, and another on 21/07/24 was stated as my fault. They brought their accident repair mechanic to fix my car. only for the mechanic to paint the car and bring it back after 7 days without fixing the car. I made another complaint, and the mechanic came back to pick the car up again to fix it.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY.
