2nd time I've had the same driver not pickup my collection, I suffer from a long standing illness and needed to have my medical device transported back to the manufacture. I wouldn't have minded so much but the fact that because the driver was "stuck in traffic" & because I didn't answer my phone he decided he wasn't going to stick around. I went with him to the place where I left my medical device (ground floor of a tall building), tried my best to see if there was anyone around to open the room in which it was kept and when I eventually did, because it was only in a bag and not in a box he said he had to go in 1 minute. He passed me his hand held device for my signature and after I signed it he was walking away, he didn't explain clearly if he was going to wait or not for me to box it up which would only have taken 30 secs max! So rather than waiting an extra 30 secs he left and now I've got another 'collection time' for him to come back. I am appalled at the driver who is representing the company, 1st and 2nd bad impression. I wouldn't normally complain or write anything but the fact he should his 'not bothered face' and wasn't exactly helpful I thought I'd let everyone know that the only reason I'm dealing with DPD is because it's a service that the manufacture has arranged, I'm also going to ring them up and leave feedback there. It's more frustration at the fact that something that was suppose to be so simple (ie one less thing to worry about over my medication and way of life due to my long standing illness) ends up being a farce because of 1 guy (the driver). I'm hoping this is the first and LAST time I deal with this company. The fact that you have to give them on here at least a star to show they were bad and rude and not a minus makes me laugh!!!! (The area is Sheffield in case you get the same driver!)
