Entering the sunset years

Entering the sunset years, when investments need to be both secure and offer a decent return, means one must make choices. When we decided on the CRE Income Fund we were attracted by the 10% return and quality of management, according to the reviews we had read. We have been delighted with the returns over the past 6 months and have chosen to add to our position. The process looks daunting at first but the staff has been easy to work with and very helpful without being "pushy," while the dashboard is easy to follow and access.

So far this has been a great addition to our portfolio.

Venmo is garbage and powerless to change

So I used Venmo to pay vendors for work they do at some properties we own. Usually it's $2-300 bucks but sometimes you need a new floor or maintenance to something and it can cost $2-3,000 bucks. I pay direct from my bank account which always has more than enough to cover the draw. So I paid a company to put in flooring in a house, $2,534.00 or so. That goes thru no problem and it is shown as debited from my bank account. That was 2 days ago, yesterday I want to pay another vendor $2,200 for fixing a leak and installing gutters. Would not go through, there's over 20 grand in the checking account and they can't transfer $2,200.00 to the party I designate. So I call Venmo and they say it is "Security" what??? That means zero, there is no security issue. Then they say it is because most of my transactions are under $300. Well, yeah, I use it to pay my cleaners at a rental property and the cost is the cost. I didn't sign up for something that would limit my transfers to some arbitrary algorithm number set up by Venmo. Then I asked why they approved my first-ever transfer of over $3,000 three years ago? Oh and there was the $2,500 just the other day for the floors. They could not answer their customer service has no power to help in any transaction. So today my cleaner sends me a request for $300 and again, it will not let me complete the transaction. Absolute dog's breakfast of a company with no desire or ability to provide a useful service. No wonder their ratings border at a below 1 out of 5.

Waiting Is.

I ordered and paid for my Magfast order on 12/6/2020 at 12:49:42 GMT. Thus far, I have received numerous excuses but no product. It is beyond my ken that it has taken this long to deliver the product. The foundation of trust in contracts is that you deliver what you promise within a reasonable amount of time. It should not be a war of wills. One should not need to steel themselves to a siege. Yes, they offered a refund, but it isn't the money at this point; almost 3 years in, it is holding the firm accountable to deliver what they initially promised and paid for. Further the continued shameless promotion is just, well, unseemly, almost Trumpian in its sheer hubris.

Hi Gordon - Seymour here, Founder & CEO. I'm so sorry we've not met your expectations. We've communicated at length about the myriad challenges of this project - and your comments arrive today just as we are finally shipping mass production (although in fairness it will take a good while to clear the backlog). As many of the other reviewers here attest we have worked hard to be transparent and keep in regular contact throughout the process. We tried to explain in the original presentation you attended that this was a crowd-supported effort so not for the faint of heart. And because we want everyone happy along the way, at any time that anyone feels they no longer wish to support us we gladly offer a refund - as we have with you. A little under 10% have chosen that option and we fully understand that. What is less clear is: what you would suggest we should have done when the going got tough? Cut off the cash that is needed to be successful and honor our obligations? Stop innovating? Give up? If major companies can't solve global challenges we certainly can't. And being small we have little leverage with the suppliers who have made this so challenging. You've taken exception to - it seems - our recent move to offer a high-margin charging cable. We've done this very successfully and it has transformed the momentum of our suppliers, the morale of the team and the interest of investors. Gordon we really appreciate your support up to this point so if you don't feel like you want to stay with us please let's get your refund sorted out now and part as friends. We've worked hard to make sure these products are better than we promised and when we have them in stock we'll welcome you back if you so wish.

A Deinite Scam

I ordered back in Dec 2020 and still have not received the product. Nothing but happy talk about how great they are. This is definitely a scam. They sent another update stating it will now be Feb of 2023 instead of August 2022. My order date was Dec 6, 2020.

Never have I seen a company let the perfect get into the way of the good for so long and so often and use that as their excuse for not shipping products. Either he's the worst businessman since Trump or his equal in hucksterism.

Not all features work

Some features work and others don't work so well. Yes one receives updates and that works but many are false alarms and the key stroke logger could not be installed for some reason. Have used for a couple of years but doesn't offer any huge benefit over the growing host of imitators.

Contacted by them recently and their person was combative as he called out of the blue wanting info to solve my problem and I told him I could not reveal anything to somebody that just called me up. We got into a cybersecurity standoff when I would not cooperate exactly the way Mr. Unknown wanted me to. So a big minus for support.
