Cheaper looking than how they appear on…

Cheaper looking than how they appear on the website. Cheap plastic with a stick on pattern that looks like it will peel off in a few weeks. At £23.99 including postage I am disappointed and will not order from Narn again.

Be very careful with regards to refunds

Be very careful with regards to any refunds to make sure you actually receive the refund! Twice I had to chase refunds which never arrived within the time frame they stated in their refund notification email (within 10 days etc). When I chased the processed it straight away, but I should not have to chase!

And for one of them they refunded the incorrect (lower) amount so I had to chase for a third time to get the remaining amount refunded.

This really puts me off ordering from Boden again.

Great service

Bought multiple items, kept one t-shirt for my Camino, and returned the other two items. Delivery and returns process was easy. The t-shirt is a gorgeous colour, so soft and excellent quality. Will return to this store if I need more merino in future!

Reviews not showing up

I've left a review for a tradesman that completed some work for me recently and none of them are showing up. It's not clear why as I get the confirmation email etc, but then it just doesn't show up on his page. What a waste of time. Also a sub-standard service for tradesmen who do a great job and are probably not getting as many reviews as they should due to this system not working properly.

Absolutely shocking customer service on…

Absolutely shocking customer service on delivery. I opened the door to a huge polythene wrapped pallet sitting on my doorstep which I had to unwrap and lug out several heavy items (shower screen, toilet) into my property. No help whatsoever from the delivery driver who just sat in his truck watching me struggle. After watching me do all this he just drove off without even taking the great big pallet and wooden frame with him. I will now have to PAY the council to get rid of all this waste wood. I'm appalled. I will never buy anything from this company again.

Victorian Plumbing value all feedback, as this helps us improve our customer service.

We do advise in our delivery terms that our deliveries are a kerbside service, as close to the front of the property as the driver can do safely. We also advise that we do not dispose of any packing materials or remove the pallet.

These terms have to be accepted prior to a pallet order being placed.

Amazing job!

Slav and Serghei have done an incredible job fitting my new kitchen. It looks so much better than I was even expecting. Slav was so helpful all the way along, offering advice for adding nice touches to the design that have really made a big difference to the overall finish. His communication is exceptional. Always responding quickly and fully answering any queries I had. They really took care of my flat, protected my carpets and the other half of the room they were working in so that it didn't end up covered in dust at all.

Slav's recommendation to install quartz worktop by Anton and Steve has really lifted the end result. I'm so glad that I went for this option in the end.

I cannot recommend Slav and his team highly enough. Such a pleasure to deal with and really took all the stress out of this whole process. Not to mention it was all done within a week and to such a high standard. Amazing job.

Absolute rip-off merchant and he should be shut down.

What he preaches is absolute bullshit and is dangerous. He literally tells people to not talk about their anxiety and to not see any other medical practicioners or therapists. Whilst at the same time raking in cash by charging £375 for 75 minutes of HIS time.

Meanwhile many people continue to struggle in silence as his methods do not work and people are encouraged to keep their struggles to themselves.

He is endangering lives.

Disgusting.

Return refused.

Awful product in my opinion. I can't see why so many like these light bulbs (Sweet Dreams Sleep Light Bulb). They are so bright for what is supposed to be an ambient lighting. Why would you create a 60W equivalent bulb for something that is supposed to be ambient and evening lighting?

I tried to return it straight away and they refused as it had a 10% sleep week discount on it. This is squirreled away in their terms.

The inability to return policy should make clear, wherever it is referred to, that conditions apply. Their returns policy feels underhand and I will not be using this company again. £20 down the drain.

UPDATE: I also left a review directly on their website, but they appear to have deleted it as it is no longer there. That explains why they only have positive reviews on their site.

Be careful setting up subscriptions

Be careful setting up subscriptions. Their banner that clearly states "SUBSCRIBE & SAVE 15%" actually only applies to the first payment taken. All subsequent payments taken on subscription are actually full price. This is a shoddy way to treat loyal customers. The banner that states the offer on the site is very misleading as it sounds like a continued discount. The explanation of how it really works is hidden away in their T&Cs. Fair enough, but I think most people would assume a subscription works like it does on other sites.

Won't be using this site again. I will take my custom elsewhere. Feel rather ripped off.

Avoid. Childish business owner.

I have bought from BS before, but I will not be buying from them again. For several reasons.

I've never known another business send out "marketing" emails criticizing other customers. To actively include other customers' less than positive reviews along with a childish rant about those reviews is just an awful way to run a business. The fact that they do that made me want to check out TP reviews and lo and behold they are even worse on here. Read the 1 start reviews and responses. Awful. Some snippets below which I find rather amusing.


"we dont use this website to collect reviews" - haha! As if a company can choose where a customer prefers to leave a review.

"When you pop your head up you are refunded in a heart beat and banned." - they ban their own customers from buying from them! Bizarre.

"Sounds like you need a lesson on how to use the Internet..." - childish, much?

"Why don't you just stick to ebay and Amazon? They have the best prices for you and the quality you deserve." - utterly awful way to talk to customers who have spent money with your company.

"Another lazy human who can't read a product page" - just awful.


Some other reasons I won't be using them.
- awful garish shouty website
- the guy who sends the rude TP responses seems to have the emotional intelligence of donut
- they seem to go to odd lengths to "prove" the quality of their products. How does taking a photo of a tub of pills on a weighing scale prove anything? Its so funny. And again, childish.

I will stick with Thorne, Pure Encapsulations and Wild Nutrition because they know how to run a business and treat customers with respect.

An entitled little princess who probably doesn't know the difference between a male and a female.

I bet this reply has you drooling all over your phone as you clearly have no life. Imagine taking the time to copy and paste replies hahah.

Every one of those replies is meant as well. You remind me of the mainstream media trying to pick what you like and build your narrative.

We get many more emails from people who love the replies than dont.

Ah myyyyy just awful.......

Great getaway

Had a great stay at Heidi. The cabin was gorgeous, serene and much bigger than it looks in the photos on the site, in my opinion. It is quite remote so I would perhaps hire a car if I was to stay there again. Nevertheless, it was so good to get away from screens and notifications for a few days. Would definitely recommend.

Cheap crap

Cheap crap. You get what you pay for, but these are nowhere near as nice as the illustrated pictures on the site make them out to be. They are also ridiculously heavy and therefore uninstallable. I asked for a refund 2 days after receiving them and they gave a flat no. I wish I had not fallen for the positive reviews. AVOID!

Buyers fee

This company uses the practice of charging a "buyer's reservation fee" which must be paid within 24 hours of an offer on a property being accepted. The fee is charged to the buyer at 1% of the agreed sale price.

I would recommend doing some research on buyer's reservation fees.

According to their terms the fee is supposed to be optional, but in reality, because I was questioning the fee and concerned about handing over such a large amount of money they actually ended up offering the property to another buyer (after already accepting my offer) without even telling me. Appalling way to treat buyers.

I hope that you appreciate, the sales team were speaking to 27 potential buyers on this property who had booked viewings, along with collating feedback, negotiating offers, and completing financial verification checks on buyers. Unfortunately, we are a small team, and therefore time management is essential.

We must present offers with the full information to our clients, therefore Laura requested the correct documents. Namely to comply with our money laundering regulations and show your commitment that a reservation fee had been paid along with proof of funds or verification of financial arrangements.

The reservation agreement is a standard format, and therefore any changes can be requested and agreed verbally or in writing. Therefore, any agreement in writing would supersede the wording within the template document. We have to create a master template and respond to any requests to amend this proactively, however any changes are made at the managers discretion.

The reservation agreement confirms the terms and conditions unequivocally and that “A non-refundable reservation fee must be paid by the buyer within 24 hours following the acceptance of an offer. This must be paid by cleared funds to Move Places who will issue an acknowledgement of buyer reservation and purchase agreement during the period of this agreement. Following the date of acceptance of the offer. The buyer will lose their reservation deposit in the event that they withdraw from the sale at any time or if they do not exchange by the target exchange date then they also risk losing their reservation fee”

I appreciate that you required changes to the form, and I can see by your email communication with Laura, that she attempted to alleviate your concerns and clarify various changes in writing. However, I respect we should have been more clear and I feel that Laura was overwhelmed with workload with this property, along with the rest of the portfolio and a magnitude of enquiries.

I am sorry if you felt Laura’s tone was unfriendly. This is something we will discuss in our next review and work on training to improve customer service. All of our staff are trained to offer a friendly and proactive customer experience and therefore I am disappointed you disagree with this. We vehemently deny your allegation of blackmail, this is certainly not the case. You have complete discretion whether you agree to a pay a reservation fee.

I feel that this complaint could have been dealt with personally, however you have caused defamatory, untrue, and hostile comments towards our business. I could of, dealt with the individual involved as opposed to defamation against our brand.

We strive to offer outstanding customer service and want to build an unrivalled brand and reputation. We understand that we can’t be perfect every time, and life is a lesson, however I do apologise for your own experience and I will take your comments on board to improve in the future.
