Lack of basic customer service

I like the products and have purchased for several years now but I am disappointed by the lack of customer service. I am also a business owner so ai know how it works. Purchased supplements and entered the right address but shopify changed it automatically which is a known problem but tried to reach out to the company straight away by chat or email to cancel the order and unfortunately they ignored my messages and just went ahead and fulfilled the order anyway. Very frustrating. Will go elsewhere from now on.

We’ve looked into this properly, and the timeline doesn’t match what you’ve said here.

You initially contacted us to change the delivery address, which our team picked up and actioned. Shortly after, you then sent another request asking to cancel the order entirely.

At that point, the order had already been processed and was moving through fulfilment, which is why it was dispatched.

So to be clear:

Your messages were not ignored

Your request was being handled

The situation changed mid-process due to conflicting instructions

We process a high volume of orders very quickly (same-day in most cases), so once an order reaches fulfilment, it’s not always possible to stop it instantly.

You’ve placed around 20 orders with us over the years, so you’ll know we run a tight operation and consistently deliver. This wasn’t a lack of customer service, it was a timing issue caused by mixed instructions.

If you need help with the order now it’s delivered, just let us know and we’ll sort it.

Sorry, we can't be slower and ship in 2-3 days like some other suppliers.

Also we have live chat on our site 7 days a week 16 hours per day. Help line coming soon as well.

CHOLESTEROL LEVEL 6.3 TO 4.5!!

I had a cholesterol level of 6.3 last October 2025.
I began to take plant sterols and started cardiac workouts.
Although I cannot fully owe this to British Supplement Plant Sterols my cholesterol is now 4.5.
I definitely think these plant sterols have played a big part in my success.
Thanks British Supplements I will continue to purchase.

Worth every penny

I started using British Supplements early 2025, 2 of my sons, both health & fitness fanatics recommended them to me. I ordered collagen, berberine, tumeric, Boswellia, I took these supplements for 6 months, I ran out of them and decided to discontinue due to cost, I didn’t realise till 2 weeks after not taking them just how much they had worked, arthritic pain and swelling returned. I’ve now prioritised these supplements & just placed a 3 month stack order order of Tumeric, Berberine, collagen, D3 & K2 & Vit C. Love the new packaging I think it seals better. Reckon I’m a life long customer now, worth every penny to feel better, knowing you’re not consuming any fillers etc.

Update on my high dose Vitamin…

Update on my high dose Vitamin Supplements, had a blood test to check my vitamin D levels and my GP advised me my Vitamin D level is 173! 🤣 I may have to reduce my intake to 1 tablets every other day, well it shows these supplements work 👍🏽

It says Picked and Packed by Chloe.

I can see the way she has stamped it, and it isn't clear as they have stamped it fast, and it's smushed.

We have sorted that issue now.

I have been using British Supplements…

I have been using British Supplements for some years and until now have not left a review.
My last order was ordered yesterday and arrived today, all be it, in different packaging . This did give me some concern as I thought I'd been scammed.It was only after some investigation that I realised all was ok. As I was doing this I saw that some people had left poor reviews and it was this that prompted me to write one myself.
Why would anyone leave such a review? I have always had excellent service and information from you guys, keep up the good work.

Leaving my review again as it has been deleted from when I'd left it before. A truly awful company and individual. Read the 1 star reviews. A disgusting way of speaking to customers.

Quite funny reading the responses to…

Quite funny reading the responses to negative reviews from the company owner (maybe I can have one too!). Came across the website from Googling a product and was somewhat put off by the general tone so thought I'd do a little research before ordering. Nothing wrong with riding the wave of right-wing populism as a marketing strategy I suppose (I'm a retired businessman and very pro business and entrepreneurs), and the supplement industry is rife with smoke and mirrors claims - so nothing unusual there. However, a big red flag is the overdue accounts and statutory returns for all the companies the owner controls. Also note that the supplement company loaned the owner (via another company under his control) £1.4m to buy a property. Buyer beware - pay with a credit card if you intend to purchase. Also an interesting analysis on the Skeptic website.

EDIT:
Just had an email from Trustpilot saying that British Supplements have "asked for more details to better understand your experience". I think my review is very clear: I would have purchased from the company but didn't because I was put off by the website and the owner's responses to negative reviews. In addition, the company has failed to make its statutory filings with Companies House, which is a red flag regarding having any commercial dealings with them. Perhaps I should respond in a similar way the owner might: "Can't you read?"

FURTHER EDIT: Been asked to review my review as potentially defamatory. My review only includes information that is freely available in the public domain via Companies House. The “red flag”I highlight is my personal opinion. It maybe the case that the company will treat customers fairly in its commercial dealings. That is up to each individual to decide. I decided not to purchase from the company on the basis of freely available and factual information. There is nothing defamatory in stating facts that are easily verified.

Jealousy is one of the worst traits in people. I've seen it alot.

A few quick points to clear things up:

We are third-party audited because we are a real business doing real numbers, so it's more time-consuming when getting the books right.

A holding company structure is a standard setup used by successful businesses, not something unusual or suspicious.

The £1.4m loan (We used the profits to re-invest) was used to purchase our factory in Gilford, the facility where we manufacture, pack, store and ship every single order.

Very few supplement companies actually do this themselves.

Our goal is simple: build a win-win company for our customers and team. At the current growth rate, we expect to be the largest supplement company in the UK by the end of 2026.

So many lives have been changed for the better. That brings real joy, not just to me, but to everyone working in our factory, helping us.

Brilliant company

Iv been using several of the supplements from this company and iv been extra pleased. Couldn’t recommend enough! My only question is why they have to be stored in the fridge? But other than that I won’t go anywhere else.

Customer service excellence

I got the wrong order from British Supplements and I contacted them and got to keep the wrong order and sent me double my original order with a lovely note! Now that’s good customer service

I have purchased supplements from…

I have purchased supplements from British Supplements which have all been good. However I purchased some probiotics which upset my stomach. I contacted them and explained they are giving me a full refund for which I am thankful

Good Quality Clean Supplements

I've used this brand a few times and never had any complaints. The magnesium was great and I'm currently using the beetroot extract which seems to be good too. I shall continue to use this brand. They also ship very quickly.

Excellent vitamins and supplements

Can't praise this company enough.

Just had blood test and both levels now in the high normal range. They definitely WORK and feel so much better. Also taking some of their other supplements, including msm, collagen, Chondroitin and Glucosamine.

Excellent supplements and first class customer service

I have been buying from this company for a few months now and have nothing but praise for them.

Their supplements are fantastic. As an example, their Berberine actually has an effect unlike the Applied Nutrition ones I got in Holland & Barrett and their customer service is second to none. I had to cancel an order this week as I had ordered the wrong thing and the company was very responsive by email and dealt with it promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending and they are now the first place I look for a supplement as I know I can trust the product and the customer experience. Delivery always very prompt too. What's not to like?

I've been buying my health supplements…

I've been buying my health supplements from British Supplements.net for a few years now. Always good quality. A wide range, they usually have most things I am looking for. They usually arrive within 1-3 days. Great service from a trusted (for their quality) supplements company.

100% recommended and great customer service

We’ve been using this company for many years and my husband won’t use any other brand of supplements, although that they are a bit on the expensive side he is very sure that they do help his arthritis when he buys the chondroitin and the glucosamine capsules.

What you can rely on from Chris Team is that it’s always a quick dispatch in fact only towards the backend of yesterday did I order some chondroitin and I was amazed to see that they were here this morning before 11 am. You really couldn’t ask for better than this they’re even quicker than Amazon Prime🙌🏼

They did not ask for this review. I just had to do it for them because they’re consistently good with their Service.😃
