Unauthorised payments taken

This company has taken additional payment from my account which was unauthorised and i was left with a financial loss until it was refunded

I left a previous review that they report as “defamatory” to try and avoid the truth (Personal opinion).

Avoid this company, I can’t wait for the day my loan is paid back and I have nothing more to do with them!

Unfortunately we did experience a technical issue impacting a small number of customers last week however this has now been resolved and in a large majority of cases it was resolved same day.

Wrongful taking of customers money!

After paying my loan amount on time this month (28th), I have noticed today (31st) the company has used my debit card to take an additional payment without authorisation.

This has resulted in withholding my funds of nearly £400 until it am paid back!!

Update- I was left over 24 hours without my money!

Poor customer service……

Very sad to be leaving a bad review after such an amazing customer service previously.

Unfortunately the level of service as dropped, with staff just putting the phone down. Recently there was a problem with their payment system and they didn’t take the payment in the AM. However the payment was then taken in afternoon, next day received a message saying my account had gone into arrears…. Terrible service!!

Terrible customer service!!

Terrible customer service!!

Attempted to increase my monthly DD to reflect the small amount debt (£59).

However they canceled my plan and then stated I can’t increase the amount online.

Spent 30 mins on the phone attempting to rectify something that should have been easy to do online.

Currently awaiting their final response to escalate this to Ofwat

Doesn’t comply Data Protection Act 2018

Account open less than 12 hours and already closing!!

Terrible customer service and rude

Requested a right to erasure request and was told over then phone that NatWest can’t do that.

This is a legal right to request!

When explaining to them about the legislation and my rights under GDPR, I was told “are you reading this from google because I don’t know what your going on about” extremely rude!!

I have requested the telephone call and will put this on social media!!

Complaint now raised with the ICO

Worse customer service ever!

Worse customer service ever!! They deserve no stars honestly.

Started a chat via the app, agent says they will get back to you but then closes the chat with no warning.

Over an hour later I reached out again for an update. Just to be started a new chat!!!

Shocking level service…..

Monzo here I come :)

Damp & Mould continues….

Had mould and damp in our property for 12 months now. The mould as now damaged our personal belongings, I have provided photographic proof of our belongings covered in black spot mould. Complaints team have said I need to send them receipts to claim my money back, so I have to now put myself out of pocket until they decide to refund me.

Terrible!!

Raised a complaint, requested a deadlock letter but didn’t receive one. After 8 weeks I reached out to the company who advised me that they would reopen the complaint and someone would be In touch within 7days.

Now been more than 7 days and still no update or correspondence, spoke to another agent today who basically said someone will be in touch in the next 7 days again…..

Absolutely terrible service !

Dishonest and Corrupt Company

So after raising a complaint on the 13/10/2023, this company has denied this. Following a subject access request I now have a copy of the telephone call which clearly evidences my complaint and the context made on the 13/10/2023. After raising the complaint again, they now state it will take 8 weeks to investigate. However I will be raising this with the FOS once the 8 weeks are up from the 13/10/2023 when the initial complaint was made. This company is so corrupt!

**Stay clear and get yourself a Argos card or something**

In couple of days of this review they will leave an automated message about how they will address any issues and that they will be in touch but never do! It’s just a front to attempt to smooth over their bad reviews.

Avoid this company

Why does your automated system say my next payment date is January when this account should have been closed since September!!

They are also reporting to the credit reference agencies that my balance is £0 and actually my account is closed!

Living with 12 months of mould…

After multiple appointments with poor and negligent level of works. We still have mould in our property nearly 12 months from when it was first reported putting myself and children’s health at risk. Next available appointment is now end of January! Disgraceful and shameful landlords!!

Sorry I do not have a Twitter or Facebook account. I have replied with my email, also your complaints team are fully aware of the issues my family are suffering from

Avoid this company

Avoid this company! They will reduced your credit limit if you make payments on time and they don’t make any money from you. Went from £2000 limit to £800 with no warning and immediate effect! Used the excuse of the reassessing my credit score, however it had no changed and was in line with the UK average… poor excuses! Waiting for a final response then will see what the FOS say about it, thankfully multiple reviews say the same and I will be using the screenshots of these to evidence their actions :)

Also if anyone was subject to the recent data protection breach by this company (May 2023). Refer your case to the FOS for compensation for none material damages as creation will just say sorry. I’ve now been awarded compensation and they have also had to pay for protection subscription to help protect my data from fraud :)

Update: This company as been told by the ombudsman’s to pay the compensation but they refusing without a copy of a bank statement, I am under not obligation to provide them any of my personal bank statements….. this may end up in court

Avoid this Company!

Avoid! Credit agreement did not match the payment schedule. Once agreement was signed they added extra interest to the payment plan!

Spoke to customer service agent who agreed the payments are different and raised a complaint….

Edit: Over two weeks later: still awaiting this company to put things right, extremely poor customer service!

Honestly avoid this company at all costs people

Update: case has gone to the financial ombudsman but the company has chosen to ignore the ombudsman’s resolution ….. currently waiting for it to be chased by the FOS…. Avoid this company people!
