Exemplary customer service
Been a lifelong customer and advocate of John Lewis. Recently had to purchase a new fridge and decided to take a trip to their store in High Wycombe, great being able to view items before purchasing, needless to say the experience and service was exemplary, the sales assistant thanked us for purchasing in store rather than online. She was very knowledgeable and made sure that were informed of all the features and that the item we purchased would fit our requirements, additionally checking that the price was competitive and that we wouldn’t find it later online for less. She also made us aware of the price promise. In an age where everything is shifting online, John Lewis are poised with the fantastic ability to offer a store experience, I’m sure that stores are a loss making part of their business, but can’t emphasise the importance of a physical presence. I urge customers to use them and experience customer service as it should be. I know they don’t always get it right, but overall I’ve never been left in a position where I’ve been unhappy in over 30 years.
