Min upplevelse med 387 Rent a Car var helt ärligt en av de sämsta jag haft med något företag överhuvudtaget. Redan från första kontakten märktes det att personalen saknar både professionalism och grundläggande respekt för kunder. Bemötandet var nonchalant, otrevligt och stundtals direkt arrogant, som om man störde dem genom att ens ställa frågor om bilen man ska hyra och betala för.

Kommunikationen var usel. Olika personer gav olika svar, inget var tydligt, och det kändes som att de antingen inte visste vad de höll på med eller helt enkelt inte brydde sig. Man fick jaga dem för information, och när man väl fick svar var de korta, slarviga och ibland rent av motsägelsefulla. Det skapade noll förtroende.

Företaget i sig känns extremt oseriöst. Allt från rutiner till kundhantering verkar sakna struktur. Det känns som att de chansar, improviserar och hoppas att kunden inte ska märka hur dåligt organiserat allt är. Istället för att ta ansvar skyller man ifrån sig, slingrar sig och beter sig som att problemen är kundens fel.

Personalen ger ett väldigt oprofessionellt intryck – stressade, ointresserade och ibland direkt respektlösa i sitt sätt att prata. Det finns ingen känsla av service eller vilja att hjälpa, snarare tvärtom. Man får känslan av att de inte borde arbeta med kunder överhuvudtaget.

Sammanfattningsvis kan jag absolut inte rekommendera 387 Rent a Car. Hela upplevelsen var frustrerande, tidskrävande och onödigt irriterande. Det finns gott om andra biluthyrningsföretag som faktiskt tar sina kunder på allvar, och mitt råd är att välja något av dem istället. Att anlita detta företag känns som att be om problem. Världens sämsta företag dem lurar sina kunder på pengar och dem tar massa pengar från kunder samt säger att kortet inte fungerar dem är sämt på sitt jobb folket gå inte ditt hyr aldrig från 387!!!

I booked a car and paid in full, to my great disappointment, due to a plane delay, my reservation was cancelled with the excuse that I was more than 59 minutes late. I have never had a reservation cancelled even though it was paid in advance. I was forced to pay three times the price at a neighboring company.

Auto nicht erhalten, trotz gültiger Buchung. Keine Reaktion auf Anrufe oder E-Mails im Vorfeld. Vor Ort wurde meine Debitkarte nicht einmal geprüft – einzige „Lösung“ war eine extrem teure Zusatzversicherung (560 €).

Mit Baby mitten in der Nacht bei Minusgraden ohne Auto dagestanden. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Zu hoher Kaution und das Ausreisen von Skopje nach Kosovo auch viel zu hohe Kosten. Vor Ort fühlten wir uns sehr verascht aber weil es 2 Uhr nachts war und wir die mazedonische Sprache nicht beherrschen haben wir uns damit abgefunden. Das alles schlimmste war das wir 5 Frauen mitten in der Nacht in einem fremden Land ankamen die Sprache nicht beherrschten und das Auto mit 0 km Tank antrafen. Man sagte uns in einem Lachen Fahrt bis zur Tankstelle ihr müsstet es schaffen, wenn nicht könnt ihr ja anrufen unser Manager geht Dan dran der nicht mal vor Ort war und wir nichtmal eine mazedonische nr haben Sofas unsere deutsche Karte eh nur mit kosten funktioniert. Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt.

Ich bin äußerst enttäuscht vom Kundenservice und vom gesamten Ablauf dieser Buchung. Das Fahrzeug wurde mehrere Monate im Voraus gebucht, dennoch wurde mir bei der Abholung in Skopje das Auto ohne nachvollziehbaren Grund verweigert.

Vor Ort wurde behauptet, meine Kreditkarte funktioniere nicht. Tatsächlich wurde jedoch kein Kartenterminal verwendet – meine Karte wurde lediglich an einen Computer gehalten. Eine ordnungsgemäße Autorisierung war somit gar nicht möglich. Zusätzlich habe ich angeboten, die Kaution in bar zu hinterlegen, was ebenfalls ohne Begründung abgelehnt wurde. Auch die Kreditkarte meiner Ehefrau wurde nicht akzeptiert. Es lag also eindeutig nicht an meiner Zahlungsfähigkeit, sondern am Vorgehen des Vermieters.

Darüber hinaus wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die über Booking abgeschlossene Versicherung „nichts wert“ sei und ich eine zusätzliche, teure Versicherung abschließen müsse. Der Eindruck entstand, dass gezielt versucht wurde, weitere Kosten zu erzwingen. Nachdem ich dies abgelehnt habe, wurde mir kein Fahrzeug ausgehändigt.

Ich wurde schließlich gegen 23:00 Uhr nachts in Skopje ohne Auto zurückgelassen. Dennoch wurde der Vorgang im Nachhinein so dargestellt, als sei ich selbst schuld oder nicht erschienen, was in keiner Weise der Wahrheit entspricht.

Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass der Kundenservice den Fall nicht objektiv geprüft hat. Statt auf die tatsächlichen Umstände einzugehen, wurde pauschal auf Geschäftsbedingungen verwiesen. Ich bin langjähriger Kunde und hatte bislang nie Probleme – umso unverständlicher ist diese Behandlung.

Insgesamt fühlte ich mich weder ernst genommen noch unterstützt. Der Fehler lag eindeutig beim Vermieter, dennoch musste ich die Konsequenzen tragen. Von einem internationalen Anbieter wie Booking.com hätte ich deutlich mehr Fairness und Unterstützung erwartet.

I had a terrible experience with 387 Rent a Car at Skopje Airport and would strongly advise others to avoid them.

I arrived on 27 December with a car fully paid in advance via Booking.com for one week until 3 January 2026. At the desk, I provided all my details and was then asked for a credit card for the deposit, which I was happy to do.

They told me my Tesco credit card was declined. I asked them to try again, same story. I then called Tesco credit card customer service while standing at the desk, and they confirmed 100% that no transaction had even been attempted and there were no declines or issues on their side.

I asked 387 to try again for a third time. Once again, they claimed the card was declined, still nothing showing on Tesco’s system.

At that point, they said the only solution was for me to buy their very expensive insurance, despite the fact that I already have worldwide insurance cover. I refused, as this clearly felt wrong.

What made this even more concerning was that a couple directly behind me had the exact same issue, their credit card was also supposedly “declined”. The chances of multiple cards failing while banks confirm no attempt was made are extremely low.

After walking away, we checked online and found many reviews describing the exact same behaviour.

This experience felt misleading, dishonest, and like a deliberate attempt to force customers into buying overpriced insurance. I am extremely disappointed that a company is allowed to operate like this at an international airport.

Awful company. Do not use them. Read the reviews before booking.

Heel slechts bedrijf of kun je ze geen bedrijf noemen. Ze kwamen helemaal niet opdagen op vliegveld. Dus sta je op vliegveld om 10 uur s avonds zonder auto.
Ik raad niemand om bij 387 auto huren.

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Scam-like behavior, avoid at all costs

I had a confirmed booking via Rentalcars.com to pick up a car from 387 Rental Cars at Skopje Airport. What happened there was shocking and unacceptable.

At the counter, two very young employees told me I had two options:
– pay a EUR 1,350 deposit by credit card (as per Rentalcars terms), or
– pay EUR 400 directly to them, allegedly for full insurance and no deposit.

I chose the official deposit option. They claimed my credit card was declined twice, yet I received no decline notifications at all in my banking app. I then provided a second credit card from another bank, same story. Again, no notifications.

After that, they told me the only option left was to pay EUR 400 in cash. I asked for a proper payment terminal or Apple Pay. This was refused. They then tried to pressure me by lowering the cash amount to EUR 300.

When I refused again, they printed a paper saying I did not pick up the car, stamped it, and closed the counter, saying they were done for the day. This happened while traveling with my wife and our exhausted 2-year-old child.

This felt like a clear attempt to force an unofficial cash payment. I had to urgently find another rental company late in the evening. I went to Interways where I got a car by using the same Credit Card.

This is not professional, not trustworthy, and in my opinion very close to a scam.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company and choose a reputable international provider instead.

Am 24. bin ich in Skopje gelandet. Einige Wochen zuvor hatte ich über Booking ein Fahrzeug bei 387 Rent a Car reserviert und vollständig im Voraus bezahlt.
Nach meiner Ankunft am Flughafen Skopje wurde mir am Schalter von 387 Rent a Car mitgeteilt, dass ich das reservierte Fahrzeug nicht erhalten könne, da ich angeblich 30 Minuten zu spät gewesen sei. Eine derart absurde und kundenfeindliche Regel wurde mir weder bei der Buchung noch vorher klar kommuniziert.
Mir wurde anschließend gesagt, dass ich – um dasselbe Fahrzeug zu bekommen – den gesamten Betrag erneut bezahlen müsse, zusätzlich zu einer teuren Versicherung, die ausschließlich von dieser Firma angeboten wird. Dies empfinde ich als vorsätzlichen Betrug und Abzocke.
Die Mitarbeiter verhielten sich extrem unprofessionell, inkompetent und unkooperativ. Eine Rückerstattung der bereits bezahlten Summe wurde mir kategorisch verweigert, ohne nachvollziehbare Begründung.
Ein solches Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und stellt meiner Meinung nach eine bewusste Methode dar, um Kunden Geld abzunehmen. Ich habe noch nie eine derart schlechte Erfahrung mit einer Autovermietung gemacht.
Ich werde niemals wieder bei 387 Rent a Car buchen und rate dringend allen Kunden, diese Firma zu meiden und Fahrzeuge bei seriösen Anbietern zu mieten.
Diese Beschwerde dient zugleich als Warnung an andere Kunden sowie als formelle Reklamation.

Am 24. Dezember hatte ich bei 387 Rent-a-Car am Flughafen Skopje ein Auto im Voraus gebucht und bezahlt.
Trotz bestätigter Buchung wurde mir kein Fahrzeug ausgehändigt, angeblich wegen einer kurzen Verspätung. Es wurde keine Lösung angeboten und der Umgang war unprofessionell und respektlos.

Ich stand am Flughafen ohne Auto und musste auf eigene Kosten ein Taxi nehmen.
Für eine Autovermietung am Flughafen absolut inakzeptabel. Keine Empfehlung.

Unfortunately, I rented a car from this company in advance through Booking.com. Upon arrival, there was no one at the airport office. I called the office phone number but could not get through. Only after asking at the airport reception were we informed that the office was located outside, at the back of Sarajevo Airport.

When we arrived at the outside office, there was a huge line — about 10 people — all of whom had booked and paid through Booking.com. Not a single person was able to take a car. Supposedly, there were “problems” with our credit cards. According to them, no deposit could be charged or reserved. This was, of course, nonsense. Everyone had paid properly in advance using credit cards. How is it possible that a deposit suddenly cannot be reserved on site?

I even offered to pay the deposit via IBAN transfer or in cash, but that was absolutely not allowed. The only option was to rent a car again at triple the price! It was obvious to everyone that this was a scam, and we all went to another rental company instead.

Calling customer service or Booking.com was pointless — no one was reachable and no one could help. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! This is outright fraud.

You are a big fraudelent company. It is a shame that you do not comply with EU law. Otherwise I would have sued your company.

A few weeks ago, I rented a car from 387 Rent a Car. Everything was to my complete satisfaction: the car, the price, and the service provided by the staff.

This is the second time I have rented a car from this company in Sarajevo. Both times I did it directly through their website and both times I took out full insurance. It costs a little bit more, but you don't have to worry about a thing. And you don't have to leave any deposit. This works best for me and I always do this (also with other companies).

The first time, they made a small mistake with the car because it hadn't been returned by the previous renter. They solved this very professionally by giving me another car and bringing the correct car later the same day (to another city). Excellent service!

My experience has been very positive and I know that I will rent a car from them again next time!

I rented a car for 3 weeks from start to finish the experience was amazing!! The kind guys helped me with my suitcase in and out of the car, set up my car play, read through policy and procedure, were very thorough during the whole process, acknowledge damage made by previous customers and made sure I was happy! The car was clean, maintained and had no issues whatsoever, I would highly recommend renting a car from here!!
