My instructor was James from peterborough and he was an amazing instructor to have despite having little to no experience driving.
His calmness and understanding of situations around my driving helped a lot and always pushed when he knew i could do certain parts of the driving.
I’d honestly recommend him and the company if you’re from peterborough as what is offered in a whole weeks time is so compact but also you learn so much so quickly and will help for
the future.
Will definitely be booking more lessons as i’m not there just yet but would like to thanks james so much.

I had my practical with lindzee and my theory with Phil and I cannot fault either of them. Both courses were well taught and enjoyable and a perfect balance. I cannot recommend this highly enough to anyone looking to learn how to drive in a short timespan.

Excellent driving tuition
Right from the start everything was very clear and organised attention to detail was excellent both my driving tutor john and theory tutor glen from the Chelmsford branch were very patient and very professional if I'm being honest one of the best diving schools out there and I would recommend to anyone to use them

I did a driving course in bristol, my instructor was called Rob, i started the week very nervous but Rob was so patience and really helped me gain the confidence i needed and the skills to be able to drive, i would really recommend Rob as an instructor an also 5day as a company.

I had Shabana as my instructor, she taught me how to drive in a week and really helped me making me feel confident throughout to help me pass my test first time and took me on all test routes before to help me understand the exact ways id be taken brilliant instructor.

Tony @ Bury st Edmund’s 5 - day was friendly, cheerful and a great driving instructor building my daughters confidence and continually giving her tips and guidance on how to improve. I’ve done the 5day crash course which I have found very simple and easy. My Instructer Stephanie (St Helens) was a great tutor who was very patient and personable. She made the driving easy and made me feel comfortable doing all the manoeuvres, repetitively and clearly. She made me feel at ease throughout and gave me a great understanding on driving for the future.
My theory tutor Phil Booth made theory extremely easy and clear throughout the sessions. He’s a great guy who goes out of his way to help, even outside of the time spent with him. It’s clear to see he wants you to smash your theory and get on the road as soon as possible. Would recommend to anyone who’s struggling.

Not worth the money
I recently completed an intensive driving course with 5 Day. My instructor was excellent, and the lessons were straightforward, but the overall experience with the company was disappointing.
The lack of communication and concern for my success was very apparent, and it often felt like I was just a number in their system. While the sales team was friendly and helpful before booking, the support during the actual course and the test was severely lacking.
A key issue arose with my theory test. My lesson ended at 2:30 PM, while my theory test was scheduled for 3 PM. The test center was over 40 minutes away, and when I raised this with the office, they were unhelpful and basically told me to handle it myself. This forced me to cut my lesson short by an hour.
Additionally, the postcode provided for the test center was incorrect, leaving me lost and causing me to arrive late, which put me at a disadvantage for my test.
In summary, while the lessons and instructor were good, the overall experience with 5 Day was frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend the course if you need reliable support and guidance.

When you contacted the office regarding the timing of your theory test, our team advised that you speak directly with your instructor to agree a mutually suitable adjusted start or finish time in order to accommodate the test appointment. As instructors manage their own lesson schedules on the day, this is the appropriate and quickest way to resolve timing matters. We understand that this arrangement was not finalised.
In relation to the test centre location, when we were contacted, the full and correct address and postcode for the theory test centre were confirmed.
We must respectfully disagree with the suggestion that there was a lack of communication or concern for your success.
From booking through to course completion, our team responded to your queries, confirmed test details when contacted and provided guidance on how to resolve scheduling concerns in the most effective way - namely by liaising directly with your instructor regarding lesson timing.
Our instructors and office staff work hard to support every learner individually and we certainly do not treat customers as “just a number.”
While we appreciate that you may have felt frustrated, particularly around the logistics of your theory test, we do not feel it is fair to characterise the overall level of service as lacking.
We are, however, pleased that you found your instructor and lessons to be of a high standard, and we wish you all the best moving forward.

This course was much better than having a lesson a week for months on end. As a result the test was passed so quickly. I would thoroughly recommend Tony.

I was lucky enough to have Alan A as my driving instructor for a 5 day course. Within a few hours I felt really confident behind the wheel and he was beyond patient. He has a nack of really understanding what you need to improve and how to do it. I had three or four instructors before him and none of them come near how good he was.

Success in learning to drive
I started the driving course in July and had no previous driving experience. My instructor Mark was so calm and patient with me and helped to develop my driving skills. I was then able to pass my driving test first time as a confident driver!

Great to get a head’s start
I needed an intensive course to see the progress I was looking for over adhoc weekly lessons which were taking too long. This is a great option if you are an older learner. I picked 5day intensive course as some others you share a car with another learner and this is 1-1 which is what’s needed, so be aware of this when assessing other options.
I passed my theory first time at the end of the week - this was virtual format which I was unsure of at first but Dorian the tutor was excellent and helped me embed knowledge and learning that was totally new to me. My practical instructor David was als excellent, patient but pushing me to break the barriers with my learning. While this alone wasn’t enough to get me test ready, hopefully my practical test is on the horizon and now most of the way there. Glad I did it and invested the money in this - it’s an intensive week but worth it.
