Great product! I order the imogen, the one with the cross over and it's amazing! The material is really durable, and kinda compressing in the way that it felt like it was slimming! It held everything in is what I'm trying to say haha - highly recommend!

My wife loves her new swimming suit. The one piece is not for taller (5'8") women. Had to exchange for a two piece.

I waited more than 3 months to receive my order. I had to contact the delivery company by myself to solve the issue. The customer service may answer but there are not effective to solve problems. When my swimsuit finally arrived I paid taxes while it says "free shipping" on their website. Bad experience overall.

I‘ve ordered the imogen crossover one-piece and it fits perfectly and is sooo comfortable! And the sustainable packaging and unboxing experience was great!
Great fit, very flattering
I found the brand on instagram and really liked their feed and the aspect that they use sustainable materials. I decided to go with the black suit with the straps since it looked very flattering on the model. And I am super happy with it!! It took a little longer to arrive (over a week) but I didn't mind since it's not really swimming season where I live. I can't wait to wear it in summer though. I might buy one of their bikinis as well just to have some options.

Just love this! I received my black Imogen swimsuit really quickly actually, in just about 3 days after ordering. It fits like a dream, and love the fact it's recycled plastic and sustainable. The packaging was cute too. Will be back 👏👏 Thanks aava!

TERRIBLE experience!!!!! Ordered three swim suits. All 3 came in the wrong size!! Customer service has been the worst I have seen. Sandra O. Said she will help resolve the issue but I have waited a week and still no return label sent. I don’t write reviews ever but I felt the need to alert the public.

Great swimsuit
I waited for my swimsuit order for one month - but it was so worth it! I am freaking happy with this amazing fit and I can recommend every women to buy one. The aava customer service was also very polite and they sent me a discount code for my next purchase (because of the delay). Best add on: aava is sustainable, love it!
SCAM ! This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. Terrible fit. Terrible sewing. Terrible customer service. My husband bought me a swim suit for Christmas, and as it appears nice in pictures, it is just not a good product. THIS IS A SCAM! My husband bought the suit in November, I got it for Christmas, and when I tried to return or exchange it, I was told it was only to be returned to be exchanged or retuned within 30 days. I have been communicating with someone named Sandra O. who keeps "forgetting" that my suit was bought as a Christmas present, therefore I can't return within the time allowed. But, then tells me she will have it exchanged, then it's unable to be because of this 30 day policy! I will report this to BBB. No good, aavaswim!
Very disappointing online purchase…
Very disappointing online purchase experience. Took a long time for delivery. Tried to exchange and refund and I had to pay over 1/3 of the purchase price to send back, and very slow customer response. They did not pick up the parcel and now it is returned back to me. I am left paying over AUD$100 for something I cannot use. Very unpleased. Buy at your own risk.
Beautiful swimsuit (after a long wait)
I read a lot of reviews and was hesitant to make the purchase, but really liked the look of the swimsuit, so decided to try it out.
The item was shipped very quickly (within 2-3 days of purchase) but it took a good 2+ months to arrive in Australia.
After waiting this long, I was very concerned about not being happy with it as I didn’t want to think about the return process.
Luckily, this swimsuit has been the one online purchase this year that has been a perfect fit for me and I loved it! The material is nice and strong, so it helps with a bit of shape in case you don’t look like the models on the website. The finish is pretty good, there was only one long thread end and the line patterns mostly line up at the seams, so it looks like they were made with care.
Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would love to buy another one, but unfortunately shipping from US to Australia in Covid times is taking way too long so might wait to try them again.
Lost money on Aava.
Hi. I ordered a swimsuit from them in early June 2020. Two months later I still hadn't received the swimsuit, so i emailed them 8 August. Got a prompt reply, due to Covid things were delayed but, I was reassured, the swimsuit was now on it's way.
Great. I think some allowances can be made for the pandemic. But two months?
Now, three months later, still the swimsuit haven't arrived. I have lost about $100.
I think they are probably a hoax. Don't buy!
Don't bother with this company
Bought a £90 swimsuit. Experienced delays on delivery due to Covid but worse was that I had no communication from the company so felt like I'd been scammed. I paid extra shipping fees of £20. I like the swimsuit but it broke within 1 week of use!!! I sought advice from AAVA and returned it to warehouse with tracking code etc but heard nothing again from the company. On chasing once they said it hadn't arrived. On chasing AGAIN they said it had arrived but wasn't refundable. Finally, they say they're going to send me an exchange. We'll see.

this company does not even deserve one star. i ordered 2 bathing suits in june and and returned them because of sizing. i have been fighting with them ever since then to get a refund. “ I apologise for my delayed response, I have been corresponding with our warehouse team and although I can see from the tracking that your return was received in a facility in Texas our team has let us know that your return has not been received.
We attempted to make a claim with USPS but as the return was sent more than 60 days ago this is no longer possible. I am very sorry for this inconvenience however we suggest contacting USPS about the package you sent and attempting to make a claim.”
first off i gave them a UPS tracking number not USPS, which i spent $20 to ship back to them. second the tracking shows it was delivered to their warehouse. complete bull crap, this place is a scam. i am going to file a dispute with visa and report them to the BBB, $190 of bathing suits, no bathing suits, no refund.
Great customer service, logistics needs serious improvement
I noticed their swimsuit ads in my Instagram feed and was intrigued by the recycled material and cute patterns. I am normally wary of ordering from Instagram ads but in this instance, I went with it, and I wish that I would have instead trusted my gut. I had read in advance on their website that the deliveries would be delayed due to COVID but I thought by ordering the first week of July for my vacation in mid-August there would be plenty of time and since I am in France and their warehouses are in neighboring Germany, I figured it could not take more than one month to make a delivery. But like many others here, I did not receive my swimsuit. The tracking info they sent me never worked, so I contacted their customer service reps almost weekly and despite their assurances that it would arrive before I left for vacation, it did not. Instead, it arrived after I had already left for vacation. And as is the custom in France when you are not present to receive a package after a certain period of time, the mail carrier returns the package directly to the sender. After some back and forth with their customer service, who at all times were always professional and helpful, they promised to refund me when my package arrived at their warehouse. It is now October, and I have not received my refund. I have reached out, again, to the customer service to inquire as to my refund and they responded that since my return was not processed through the normal return portal they did not know what to do with it - "will I be wanting to change sizes or styles"?!!! So for the eighteenth time, I explained my situation and I hope that a refund is forthcoming. In summary, I cannot comment on the quality of the swimsuit, but I can say that their website specifically notes delivery delays due to Covid and you should expect that this means more than a month delay, try six weeks. Otherwise, their customer service was always responsive, kind and professional even if I had to explain things several times to several different people. I think aava swim expanded into the worldwide market before they had the logistics to carry out their business efficiently. Their business premise is a good idea and I wish them success, but I will be needing my refund now.
UPDATE: Refund received. Plus a 20% off code if I decide to make a future purchase. Thank you!
Horrible Return Policy
The return policy is completely unreasonable. They sent the wrong size swimsuit. USPS lost the return, and they won't issue a refund because they say they aren't responsible for lost packages. I had to pay personally for the postage as well even though the return was because of their mistake. I won't be a customer of theirs in the future, and I'd advise people to shop elsewhere.
Lousy return policy swimsuit
Ordered swimsuit. Size wasn’t right. Very laboursome returnpolicy. Finally managed to get the codes to refund, had to pay for return shipment and since then have not heard a thing and did not receive a refund. Lousy logistics and return policy.
