I rented a property in Birmingham for 3…

I rented a property in Birmingham for 3 years.

Chelsea, my property manager, was consistently proactive and responsive. Whenever issues arose, she was prompt to help and kept me informed. Any resolutions were carried out smoothly.

Sammy, my lettings agent, was friendly and approachable. She made inspections and routine checks straightforward and stress-free.

Overall, both provided a fantastic experience, would recommended.

Had a viewing booked for 13:00 at a…

Had a viewing booked for 13:00 at a property. Traveled 2 hours to get there to view it and no estate agent was there to show us round. Waiting around 15 minutes before calling the office only to find out the property had already been taken and let to someone else. Had no cancellation email or text letting us know not to waste our time or fuel getting there. Very frustrating and to top it off no apology given.

I have had the pleasure of doing a number of jobs for accommodation and haven't had any issues. They have always been quick to reply. Very polite and thanks to Maz , Scott and Sean for prompt payments and regular updates... more than happy to carry out more work as and when im needed.. thank you

The disaster started the moment Brooke, the so-called letting agent, couldn’t even bother to show up to our viewing on time — and gave zero notice. That should have been the first red flag. Instead, we got sucked into a two-week circus called a “vetting process,” only to be told, five days before move-in, that we “didn’t meet the requirements.”

During this fiasco, I begged for phone calls, rang their office hundreds of times, and was met with a wall of silence. Brooke wouldn’t pick up the phone, wouldn’t answer, wouldn’t communicate like a professional human being. When she finally managed to arrange a call, she rang the wrong person — not even the lead tenant. It would be funny if it weren’t so infuriating.

And then, when we were down to the wire, panicked and desperate for somewhere to live, they had the gall — the audacity — to suggest we hand over £6,000 to “secure” the flat.

Accommodation.com isn’t just incompetent — they are insulting, exploitative, and a masterclass in how not to run a business

Thank you for your feedback. While we’re sorry to hear your experience was not as you had hoped, we would like to clarify a few points.
The viewing began a few minutes later than scheduled due to traffic and an earlier appointment running over — we apologise for any inconvenience this caused.
Your application was processed through our referencing partner in the usual way. Unfortunately, your group did not meet the required referencing criteria. As advised, communication regarding these checks needed to be made directly with our referencing partner, and delays occurred due to missing or incomplete information.
When it became clear that the affordability criteria would not be met, we explored an alternative option — to pay the shortfall up front, alongside the first month’s rent and deposit. This totalled approximately £6,000 for the City Centre apartment and was entirely optional. Without meeting the affordability requirement or choosing the alternative, the tenancy could not proceed.
We understand this outcome was disappointing, but the referencing process is in place to ensure suitability for both tenants and landlords. We wish you the very best in securing accommodation.

The worst company ever

The worst company ever. Caught the landlord looking through the back windows, told this company about it and they said, well it’s his house. Now they are trying to steal my deposit, saying work is needed when the house was handed back in better condition than when we moved in. I would avoid at all
costs

Yes please Scott, can you share the document I signed or the message I sent to say that the landlord could perv through my windows at my girlfriend when I was at work.

Thank you for your review. While we respect your right to share your experience, we feel it’s important to clarify some key points for accuracy.
Your concerns were fully investigated by Rent Smart Wales, the governing body for landlords and agents in Wales, who found no issues with our conduct. I have also addressed similar points in my response to your partner Stacey’s review.
The landlord’s visit you mentioned was arranged with you in advance and formed part of the agreed communication throughout your tenancy. We have a full record of these arrangements, which was also provided to Rent Smart Wales, and can share this timeline if required.
With regard to your deposit, the matter remains ongoing and is currently being discussed between you and your property manager, Richard.
We take all feedback seriously, but our responses are always based on verifiable records and our compliance with legal obligations.

Review from Ropeworks, Barking - Great work and I am very much satisfied

Accomodation is the agent for my property in Ropeworks Barking, Essex. Richard Petrie is our point of contact. He is doing a fabulous job as agent. His response time is very quick. He understand the tenant issues and responds promptly. We faced a mojor issue and fire broke out, Richard played a crucial role between landlord and us, provided necessary support and follows up. Great experience

We had a great experience with Accommodafion. They did an excellent job finding a suitable tenant for our propert-quickly, efficiently and with clear communication throughout the entire process. John made sure that everything went smoothly from start to finish , and we felt confident and supported at every step. Highly recommend their service!
