Good finance app for kids

I like this app for my kids coz it helps with them learning about being financially aware and responsible. They earn from doing chores and it’s so easy for parents or guardians to do it.

Have to have social sec number to invest. Also switched from gohenry that was $5 per month and you are $12. More features but can't use them.

Highly satisfied

I love having one app I can go to and see how the accounts are doing. I just used the gift feature for the first time which was super easy. My son has really enjoyed learning about finances through the app. Overall, I love Acorns!

Tried to send my son money via a gift…

Tried to send my son money via a gift link and it never went through. Have been back and forth with support saying it’s fixed when it is not, and a continual cycle of “this will be addressed in 2 to 3 working days”.

I was able to locate your co-parent account using the details provided with the review and tried to give you a call; however, I was unable to reach you. Transfers to parent wallet take too long. Never received my promo $20 allowance.

Hi! This is not something we would ever expect for our members. I am sorry to hear that this has been your experience. The transfers between the parent wallet and the child's card should be pretty much instant, but if you are referring to transferring funds back to your bank account, then this would take the standard 3-5 working days to be refunded. With the $20 allowance payment, this should have applied within 24 hours of the card activation, but if this has not happened, please give us a call at (855) 739-2859, and a member of the team will be happy to get this looked into for you. 😀

Great tool for kids & parents

This makes allowance and spending on my child so easy to manage and keep track of. It's helped both me and my child become more aware and responsible with money. I had an issue with Acorns but with Acorns Early everything has been great so I try to keep my experiences seperated. I definitely recommend this to anyone with a child that's getting older and wants their own money, it will make things easier or you both!
