The installer, David McIntyre was friendly, calm and highly competent.
He was innovative, methodical and thorough taking time to offer explanations and answer questions. Very clear and exceptionally helpful

We knew the gas and electric meter install was complicated. Phil worked with us and sorted the issues. Lead pipe on outlet of meter removed and local isolater put on electrics.
Really pleased with work. Thankyou. It would be good if photo of old meter was sent with application for meter change to flag up issues and give Engineers more time etc?

Our rep Ashfey did a great job installing our Smart Meter for our SO Energy service. He was above-and-beyond friendly and very knowledgeable. We didn't mind the appointment time change (morning instead of afternoon), as he respectfully explained the reasons and was very kind and attentive. Good job overall!

Michael the engineer was very friendly when coming in, he let me know it could take up to 3 hours but only ended up being here around half that time. I appreciated Michael keeping me updated with what he was doing, letting me know when the electric was back on. He give me information about what he had done and the smart meter worked.

Michael from AES is a great guy and a professional. Completed the job in no time and my smart meter is working perfectly fine.

After months and months of miscommunication and wasted time (So Energy at fault here), I have a Smart Meter. Still not sure if it was absolutely necessary but there you go. I cannot fault Michael Peers, the engineer, however. Professional, polite, knowledgeable. He went beyond the task he'd been given as he'd only been told about the electric meter, not that it needed to be synched with the gas (So Energy!). He got it sorted, explained how it worked and left. Job done, thank you!
