Appalling customer service for an item which became faulty after less than year. The impression is that Airflow are trying to avoid honouring their warranty. I would not wish to ever purchase their products again.

Utter piece of rubbish as a product

1) It's not quiet, far from it

2) The fan spins off balance

3) It's overpriced

4) The customer service is utterly woeful

I'd recommend folks look at the Tornado from Extractor Fan World, quiet, more advanced, easier to install, smaller bore hole, nice customer service

Excellent customer service when it came down to advice and a small part required for my 12 year old Icon 15 fan...The part was sent free of charge...Brilliant.

The worst customer service. Do not buy from them.

Of the 10 extractor fans I purchased I believed one was defective, I emailed them on 26 Feb and had to keep chasing them and they finally responded via email on 11 March on next steps. I had to pay an electrician to come out several times to answer the questions they emailed me and finsally they asked to me send the device back to them.

I returned the item and on 26 March they said the device was fine. I told them to throw the device away (that was an option given to me).. I then got an email that said:

Dear Louis,

Your order has now been confirmed. The goods will be sent to the following address:

Delivery address
MY ADDRESS REMOVED
"

And I called them and they said that response obviously means it is being throw away.

Since I had to buy a replacement I was told I could not get a discount and to buy from a wholesaler as it would be cheaper. I went through the list of wholesalers and every one was more expensive than the AirFlow site.

After reading my review the company made it right and refunded me for the product. Also, they said their customer service was under construction and they apologized.

This company has the worst Customer Service I have come across. Do not buy or deal with them find an alternative. Bought a bathroom extractor fan from them in November, to replace another . Had it fitted by an electrician after 2 weeks switched on snd a flash and bang it stopped. Electrician removed it and showed my the Controller had burnt out. I sent a photo to Airflow of the damaged contacts on 8 December asking for a replacement . I heard nothing until 27 December when they sent me a ref number, after chasing them by phone. On 9 Jan they asked me to return the damaged fan, I sent it the same day. On 17 Jan they asked me for Proof of Postage- why did they hope I did not have it so they could deny receiving it. On 19 Jan they denied my warranty claim because the burnt out clip was broken and I had not sent back the casing, which was blocking the hole in my ceiling! I then set about making regular telephone calls and disputing their findings in writing. Not until 25 Jan did they suddenly agree my warranty claim. If this were Fujitsu I could understand the attitude but dealing direct with a customer and taking nearly 2 months to resolve a warranty claim of a few £ is appalling

After my second unit failed I contacted these guys. All I received was stalling and stupid questions like how is it wired up, where is it wired up etc. With a month gap almost between responses to my emails. It’s two wires on an a/c circuit and had worked for a few months before stopping.
Check reviews of their products online as they are not good. Lesson learned from my end.

I searched for a quiet fan for my shower and decided on the icon 30 as described as one of the quietest.The noise is horrendous.How are they getting away with this.A complete waste of money.Thanks Airflow

Sold an Airflow ICON60 fan and in the description it claims to be very quiet, absolutely not, every time the vent opens it sounds like a 747 taking off. Cant even have the fan on at night when putting the kids to bed as it’s so loud even tho it’s in a different room.

Contacted Airflow after the unit broke (bought 2 1/2 years ago but due to covid and ensuite refurb only been installed 8-10 months, warranty 3 years.) they said one of there engineers would contact me. After speaking to the engineer he said the unit motor was blown and they would replace this under warranty. They sent me a pre paid return label and I posted it off. After they received the unit they then told me because I hadn’t cleaned the unit regularly (cleaning regularly is a hugh variable, my cleaning regularly is going to be different to someone else’s cleaning regularly) the warranty was void and they would not replace the unit. Now I have a 160mm whole in my ceiling and will now have to order a new unit at the cost of £120-£130 not including the cost of an electrician to install the unit.

The customer service is an absolute shocker and the products are substandard

We fitted our ICON 30 more than 16 years ago and it has been working reliably ever since. So it was somewhat unfortunate that when i gave it clean i managed to break the actuator clip. I despairingly expected to have to buy another fan, but when i talked to Airflow they were able to dispatch a replacement part to me immediately - free of charge.

Have had occasions to contact their Technical Help desk regarding our Icon Shower vent.
Their customer help is excellent always patient and ready to offer a private customer assistance.

Brilliant service and excellent product.
