My transactions used to track really quickly now since the New Year they are taking ages, so a bit disappointed. Also when trying to report a transaction the from to fill in does not appear anymore on the app. So why is that ?

I got Airtime through my O2 contract. Works really well. VeEry easy to add cards to it so you earn cashback on spending (automatically) and can get money off your phone bill. It's like free money and the app is very easy to use.

I contacted Airtime support all the way back on November 16th 2025 and I am still waiting for a response and for the assistance I was seeking.

I submitted a Contact Form request in the Help section of their app but have had no answer after what has now been well over 2 months.

In my experience at least, Airtime performs unreliably. Both in the tracking functionality of purchases and also it seems in how their customer communications are attended to.

A 2+ month (and ongoing) waiting time for an email response is an unreasonable wait time and is far in excess of what one should expect and accept.

I would have previously given a 5 star review for Airtime Rewards, but the recent changes to the programme has left me an unhappy ‘customer’.

It should be easy. You spend money with a retailer and get cashback. No doubt Airtime are receiving a cut too, but ultimately we are getting something back.

I have also signed up to provide my financial data through their UP programme for an extra financial boost. Data has a worth in the world as we all know and this is again going to benefit Airtime if we supply this important information.

I cannot use my earnings toward my phone bill as there are only a small number of networks given as a payout option out of the many available in the UK.

So the next choice would be to take the ‘Pay into my bank account’ route. This now is only available in £10 increments and has a £1.30 (13%) charge for each £10 withdrawal. This is annoying when I know that Airtime have already likely profited from directing sales to retailers and from the use of my data.

I was also under the impression that, in the UK, companies are generally prohibited from charging extra fees for payments made by standard bank transfer (Faster Payments) or debit/credit cards, under the Consumer Rights (Payment Surcharges) Regulations 2012.

It looks to me like Airtime join the long list of businesses damaging their reputation, citing ‘exciting changes’ to their rules and more transparency, while obviously making the changes for the benefit of nobody but themselves.

These days, people are not as slow to question when they feel they’re being taken advantage of.

Great way to get money back to use on your airtime bill. Plenty of stores to use

More frustration...........I have been trying to make an in-app purchase for two days now so that I can earn some useful rewards...5% reward on a Marks and Spencer gift card valued at over £60.00.
Each of the four cards I have used has been declined by Airtime rewards.....but no problems with online purchases eslewhere.

Great way to save on your mobile phone bill. Some transactions do take a while to update. Only issue I have found is when using apple pay the transaction does not count, as the apple pay does not match the debit or credit card. Other than that a really great service.

You just buy your normal purchases and save money on your mobile bill. What’s not to love.

Great way to knock money off your phone bill without actually having to do anything! Easy to set up and then just runs in the background and you spend on your cards as normal.

I use my registered card to pay for purchases and the airtime rewards soon add up . Helps towards my mobile phone bill especially if I go abroad outside Europe.

Only works if you are on and stay on one of the three main networks. Otherwise you can't cash out. If you are eligible they then charge a whopping £1.30 fee, to send to a bank 13% ,extortion at its best. Topcashback do this for free !!!!

Sometimes a little frustrated at the payment methods being expected ie Ebay Visa only, I have plenty of Mastercards but no Visa don't really want another. But still money for nothing who can complain.

Such a good app! Getting money off my phone bill for doing nothing but shop at my favourite stores! It’s a win win! Definitely a good recommendation.

I can highly recommend this company. I have saved nearly £200 on my phone bills since joining up.
Some transactions can take up to 90 days to clear but I don’t think that’s an issue. Once you reach £5 (used to be £10) you can redeem it, it’s a great way to save money on your phone bill.
I have given 4 stars as it would be even better if there were more places to earn cash back.
Overall I am more than happy with the money I have saved so far and have recommended it to my friends and family.

This a great way to save money on your mobile bill by being rewarded for everyday purchases. One thing to bare in mind is how quickly you rack up reward points is dependant on how often you make purchases and how quickly those points are made available to you as some can take up to 90 days to clear. Overall though this is a very good concept and I will continue to use it

I saved up my rewards over a year so I can cash in and treat myself. Without notice you changed the terms do I now get charged to withdraw my money.
Not only think but you have limited it to £10 at a time and take £1.30 of this for fees.
It’s a con and I’ve raised several complaints which you are ignoring.
I wonder if the brands you work with know these kind of tricks you are playing with genuine customers.
Don’t mind terms changing but only on future earnings.

Rewarding and innovative concepts which lower mobile bills.

Using my debit card - as this pulls the purchases I make, and I get a marvelous cashback everytime I spend. I believe at first I didn't even know how it worked, until I logged in and noticed I had over 50quid, but didn't claim/redeem it on time. Contacted their wonderful support team, reinstated my balance, and Yes I was happy again - used it against my bill. Love it AirTime, keeping doing great.
