Extremely disappointed.

I ordered the Rouge outfit, and it was by far the most poorly made piece I’ve ever received. The color shown in the pictures is a red tone, but what I got was fuchsia. The “kaam” (embellishment) looks nothing like the photos or videos—it’s bulky, cheap-looking, and a bright yellow gold instead of the subtle, muted tone advertised.

The fabric quality was subpar, but the stitching was even worse. The left side didn’t match the right, and the sleeves were shorter than 3/4 length. Overall, the craftsmanship was extremely poor.

After paying for stitching, shipping, and tariffs, this outfit ended up costing me around $400—completely not worth it. If you’re in the U.S., I strongly recommend not ordering.

I had a great experience with Akbar aslam i usually don’t order from online brands because sometimes they deliver the dresses but that have some faults in it but this time Akbar aslam even delivered my dress in this war situation i wanted it for Eid and they did deliver it before Eid i must recommend to order their dresses

I recently ordered three fully custom outfits from Akbar Aslam, and I can confidently say the experience exceeded my expectations.

All three pieces were made-to-measure with excellent craftsmanship and quality. From the start, communication was seamless. We used WhatsApp to triple-confirm measurements and discuss adjustments to ensure the designs were more conservative and modest to my preference. I really appreciated the attention to detail. They sent videos and photos with updates in less than 24 hours of my initial inquiry, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout the process.

Ordering overseas can feel like a gamble, but this process was smooth and reassuring. The team was responsive, professional, and genuinely committed to getting everything right. I’m beyond satisfied and will absolutely be ordering again.

A couple of minor notes for transparency: I did incur foreign transaction fees and customs charges despite paying a significant shipping fee. I also wish there had been more detailed clarification upfront regarding dupatta specifications and whether bottoms were included with certain dresses.

Overall, though, I’m extremely happy with my outfits. The pricing was reasonable for custom work, and the experience felt collaborative and personalized.

If you’re hesitating to order internationally, this is your sign to give Akbar Aslam a chance and let them create your dream outfit.

I ordered clothes for the first time with them and they did not disappoint me. The clothes look exactly like the photos and so classy. Fitting was good as well. I will order again!! They had given me timeline of 41 days but it came wayyyyyyy before.

I have ordered their three piece rtw suit name Sahar.. it's very nice, fabric is very fine in quality . Overall good experience. But I wonder why they don't have size XL??? Plz make xl size clothes too..

I ordered two custom dresses for my nikkah and walima and another for a friend - shipping to austria.
first I was very unsure because of long delivery times.
they were questioning measurements very detailed and told you if something seemed off.
production took some time and I started to become worried, but the waiting was absolutely worth it! the quality is amazing, the details are so very intricate and lovely, I am totally stunned.

I ordered two stitched formal outfits from this brand, Shazmin and Isolde. Both were unacceptably poorly made.
The stitching and construction were severely flawed: uneven measurements from one side to the other, distorted shaping, and warped backs. Neither garment resembled the designs shown online. The workmanship was so bad that both outfits were unwearable as delivered, and I had to take them to a tailor just to make them presentable. This level of quality is unacceptable for a designer label. For balance, the only item I was satisfied with was a co-ord set, which was well made. Unfortunately, both formal outfits were a complete failure in terms of craftsmanship and quality control.
I also noticed that when I submitted my review, it was marked as “pending.” Looking at what is publicly visible, it appears that only glowing five-star reviews are published, which gives a misleading impression of the brand. My experience did not match that narrative at all. I would not recommend ordering stitched formalwear from this brand.

Please listen to the negative reviews. The quality is AWFUL. Despite sending my measurements the blouse is cartoonishly large and also is stitched so badly. It looks so bad and cheap in comparison to the online photos and is not salvageable. So mad I spent so much money on this

please be aware with this brand they will charge you in thousands and deliver a cheap material /wrong sizes, even stones and laces is not proper , what they show on pictures they will send you opposite and garbage .
i have paid 80 thousand of my 2 dresses and the dress they deliver is also worst please be aware guys

They have the worst customer service. They are the one that makes the fault but put all the blame on you. Doesn't fix the problem.

They decreased all the heavy work on the waist of lehenga. They didn't ask me.

When I asked to help me. They clearly denied any form of help.

Don't bother order from this brand. Cause they will have problems with the dress but won't fix it.

Great experience with this brand. I had asked for the clothes to be delivered earlier than the timeframe listed and I received them much earlier than I had asked them to deliver. The clothing quality is just as the photos, not exceptional but still very good for their prices and other brands. Their customer service is also great. Will definitely recommend and buy again.

I ordered from their website, they take advance payment and deliver the suit after 40 days, plus their customer support is rude and non-cooperative. The quality of the stitching was also not satisfactory, avoid purchasing from them, they have no physical location as well to visit for dispute.

I ordered the Shazmin with a fully lined kameez. I placed my order on Oct 13 and received it Nov 10. The outfit looks stunning and is beautifully done. It looks just like the picture except mine is fully lined. I even asked them to send me extra material in case I wanted to line the sleeves in the future, and they remembered to send me the material. Customer service was through WhatsApp and the representative I dealt with was very prompt in answering my questions.

Akbar Aslam’s service has been nothing but misleading and frustrating. They clearly prioritize pushing out orders over actual customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise against getting any items stitched from them, no matter how clear you are with your size, they will get it wrong. The stitching was completely off, and the final look was far from what you see on their website.

Communication is chaotic, multiple different people contact you for the same information, yet nothing is properly noted. They charged for stitching, then added unexpected extra charges without any prior notice.

The quality is poor, the fabric feels cheap, tassels were flimsy, and to make things worse, they shipped incomplete orders. When the order arrives, they’ll ask you not to accept it, and if you already have, they expect *you* to pay for shipping it back.

It’s clear from repeated bad reviews that they are not willing to improve. Please save your money and avoid this brand. There are many far better and more reliable brands in Pakistan that deserve your support.

I placed 6 orders with this company because I love their product! I only received one order delivered to USA, one order was lost in the mail, as they send it to someone else in Pakistan where I live in USA! But my credit card company made them refund my money! Still I trusted them and placed 4 more orders spending over 2k usd for stitching and shipping. It’s almost 45 days and still haven’t received my orders. They shipped two of my orders and it’s shipped via UAE and the custom billed me to ship to USA where I already paid $70 dollars for shipping but they billed me again $38 dollars for each package totaling extra $70 for 2 shipments. So I am guessing I will be billed another $70 for my last 2 shipment. I ordered from Maria B and Asim Jofa and get my packages with 2 weeks or less and never had to pay anything extra for shipping like this. So if you are ordering from USA first you might not get your order or it will cost you extra and that is not fair business or treatment as a consumer. Although their clothes are beautiful. And custom stitching is very high quality. I wish they don’t treat their USA customers unfairly like this and think that they can charge us anything because we are rich!
