Legal Scammers. They live by drinking blood of their customers. They will do anything and everything to not pay you, they will keep requesting documents from you so you give up and don't have to pay. They keep asking me stuff which is really hard to provide them and all that for a $80 claim. I had NIB before, has no problems. I am even planning to take them to small claims court for their behaviour.

Worst service ever with terrible refund policy. Never come back again ever.

I went online search for medical insurance in Thailand,got in touch with Allianz whom then sent me for a medical
3 weeks later got reply saying they would not give me insurance.
The Doctor who gave me the Medical informed me I was in good shape for my age with a few minor
Defects.
Thank god they knocked me back after reading these reports.
I have since got medical insurance with no medical involved.
This company said I was to old for insurance, well your loss and my gain

We purchased ticket insurance for a Vegas show through Ticketmaster. “Cancel tickets for any reason” this is extremely misleading! Our flight changed and so we missed the show and our claim was denied… and then the review was denied. Do not waste your money on this extremely limited insurance!!

absolutely the worst company i have ever dealth with. I have been paying them premiums for years but when i actually needed them it has caused so much additional stress during a period when i was already worried enough about a tumor that needed to be removed.

My operation was delayed by months because they failed to properly contact the hospital to give pre-approval for the operation. I had to chase allianz constantly and without ever letting me know they had closed the case and declined the operation, so we had to start from scratch again - all this time the hospital could not schedule the operation. There was no apology for this delay, just saying "we will train our employees better in the future"

But this was not all; i paid the expenses out of pocket because i think allianz just ignored the invoice they got from the hospital and then the hospital contacted me directly. I paid, submitted the invoice to allianz, they asked from some additional information (statement of my bank to confirm i had really paid for it) and then without any request for further information they declined the claim. I am now following up on this and causing so much more stress.

Honestly do not deal with this company; i am going to take this further and make an official complaint to the relavant parties outside of allianz to look into their practices) as i do not want anyone else to go through this.

Absolutely superb company,I have been with them 36 years...never a problem paying out even large hospital bills .Superb customer help. Very understanding in all health matters. Payment rapid rather than fast. I can not understand some of the reviews I have read.

DO NOT TRUST ALLIANZ CARE. This company is a scam. I was deceived by my insurance agent and when I tried to terminate my contract, they ignored my request and continued to charge me. I sent multiple emails and received no response. After discovering that many other customers have had similar experiences and left negative reviews, I realized that this company cannot be trusted.

If I had seen these negative reviews before, I would never have signed up for this insurance. Allianz Care is not a reliable or trustworthy company. Stay away from them

One of top insurer's in whole of Ireland. Its grand mistake not seek quote from Allianz as it will save you €€€ and you will get better quality Insurance with Allianz.

I Would give 0 Stars if possible... They always request new documents for claims, although everything is submitted to them. The Support never really answers, it takes weeks to get an answer. Telephone Support is useless aswell, as they always want to forward and then no one is reachable. Its a scam really. Worst experience I have ever haved with an insurance! If you want to spend your time with emails and phone calls to the insurance, then sign up with them.

Received this health insurance from my organization (it is mandatory in my country), but basically everything that is included in the core plan is already covered by the national health system, and the few things that could be useful have a deductible higher than any possible fee that I could pay for those things. Basically my employer is paying for health insurance but I don't have any health insurance. I will pressure them to change plan.

DO NOT SIGN WITH ALLIANZ DENTAL INSURANCE.
All is ok until the customer has to sign and pays regularly every month.
The moment you claim something they go and spy into your whole life, back years and years, up to 7 years back in my case, to find something they can use to say they are not entitled to pay for your treatment.
Disappointing behaviour and totally uncooperating personnel.

I purchased OSHC on the 19th January, Allianz took responsibility for putting it as OVHC and claimed to have sorted it out. It is now 14 Feb and I still do not have my policy certificate in order to submit my student visa. When I ask to speak to someone in a higher department to escalate my matter there is always excuses "they're away or in a meeting"
I have been calling them for weeks, last week I was told that everything was sorted and I would be receiving my policy certificate on the 10 Feb which did not happen, when I call back they always say that they will get someone to phone me back within the day which does not happen
This is absolutely ridiculous and I will NEVER recommend anyone to use this health insurance. Their customer service is horrific!!!

Like every other insurance company: pay them but when you need to claim something, spend 3hrs filling out documents just for it to get rejected

This company used to be great. Now is full of inconsistencies. For example the same basic dermatological doctor visit and treatment was approved and paid at least 5x in 2022 now it is not good anymore. They want medical reports signed by the treating doctor detailing the following: detailed description of the symptoms, ICD code, explanation of the medical necessity for the treatment or procedure, details of medical treatment carried out, invoice with a stamp (receipt and bank stub not good anymore). We have a full comprehensive health insurance where the Table of Benefits states Doctor Visits full refund. period. They do anything to slow you down, lose your time, and drive your physicians nuts. The second example is my long term drug prescription. Two years ago they decide that is an OTC and not cover it while in the country I'm based the pharmacist are still asking for a prescription. Last December I claimed the medication, attached the doctors prescription and surprise surprise Allianz approved and paid it. I asked for explanations and their answer was that the Bots make a mistake however they don't need my money back. So unprofessional. Covid Tests and getting sick. OMG. My daughter had an emergency while in Egypt and their so called 24/7 emergency line done nothing but NOTHING and ended up, yet again, going for weeks of back and forth of ridiculous explanations although the Egyptians physicians and clinic provided us with all the treatment info needed. What Treatment Guarantee Form. They told me to pay and claim it afterwards only to come back and asked why I did not fill the Treatment Guarantee Form prior to my child's emergency while abroad. Also 2 years ago I have reviewed and given them 1☆ and they promise by email that they will call to listen my grievances. It has never happened plus they convinced Trust Pilot that the problem was solved and erased my review. At that time they had a 4.6 ☆ rating. Today is a different story. They don't deserve your money. Since our insurance is corporate we will lobby to finish the collaboration. It's been 12 years now and it is time for change.

This company is an absolute scam and fraud. Their “emergency hotline” is always busy, they claim, probably because they don’t hire sufficient qualified staff to service their customers. I have been hospitalised twice this month and both times I had to call and submit my own claim in order to obtain their payment guarantee, while at the ER in a critical medical condition, because Allianz did not accept my medical provider to do so on my behalf. It’s has been an extremely frustrating process because they act so slow and I had to pay my medical provider a deposit myself, as Allianz failed to do so within an acceptable time frame. It’s clear they do so intentionally, in order to decline proper cover and consequently only accept a fraction of the costs once their customer claims the cost. I have send dozens of complaints with their management in cc, however, they clearly don’t care. I’m going back to Cigna or Bupa. Stay away!

Mis-sold me an insurance product. Refused a refund and ignore all my emails when I try to follow up. Lost a lot of money. Do not trust them.

I paid a lot of money to this company over the years for my health insurance. Eventually, I had a doctor's appointment and had to make a claim. The submission seemed straightforward enough; I just filled a form on the app with my bill information. However, a long silence ensued, only broken by a letter from my doctor reminding me to pay the bill. I checked the allianz app, to find that they had silently closed the claim, since they did not get any feedback from the healthcare provider! Why did I not receive any notification of this? The same thing happened to my partner at a similar time. I ended up paying the bill myself and cutting ties with this thieving company.

I merely wanted an update for my family's OVHC policy involving removing of persons in the policy, and extending the policy date for the remaining person in the policy.

Emails went back and forth for probably already 6 or 8 times, and each time the email comes back, it is coming from a different person, with incorrect information about my policy! I don't think they read the email trail thoroughly. I cannot believe how they could have misunderstood simple instructions on the change of policy! It seems Customer Service is deliberately just going back and forth with emails, perhaps, to generate KPI's based on responses on the ticket, it doesn't matter that it is becoming very poor quality of service.
