I got a shipping confirmation on some shoes that the company no longer makes—lots of Internet shopping to locate in the first place—but then right after that, I received a notice that said my item was out of stock. Bogus.

This was the only online store where I could find a specific adze for an older model axe. Shipping was quick. They also included a few Alpenglow stickers, which I really appreciated.

We experienced a great customer service experience. The crew went above and beyond to get our small item moved from another store to the new space in Bangor. While we miss having the old store in Orono, the new space is roomy and the team remains a real high point.

These guys know the products the sell and have a couple well stocked brick and mortar stores (a dying breed). Do everyone a favor and support small outdoor businesses like these!

Fast delivery, great selection

I wasn’t sure about the ordering / payment system. But I did receive a confirmation email and order processing email. Got my package two days later with some sweet Alpenglow stickers included.

This was my first experience with Alpenglow. I felt they were very responsive to my correspondences with them. When the gloves did arrive, they were as advertised. My only tick off the star list not making it a perfect experience, was the delay in getting the gloves out to me. That may have been an anomaly. This will not discourage me in looking at them again for other gear.
