We had some work done by Tony Murray, including filling the gaps under the window sill and painting the bay window. He was meticulous and paid great attention to detail. We are very happy with the result and would definitely recommend him, thanks Tony!

The lads that came to do flooring on our landing were brilliant.They were tidy,and did the job perfectly,when they finished you couldn't tell anyone had been here!The lads were called Richard and Tony,we cannot thank them enough for the work.Our address is 26 Starling Place Catterall (Plot 35).Thank you Anwyl Homes for employing such good people.

Chris came out to investigate some issues weve been having. He was very pleasant and professional to deal with. I appreciated the effort he put in and the care he gave to the property. I hope things move quicker for us to find the cause of our issue. Thank you.

Paul replaced an internal door handle, he was careful and professional and interested in how we were putting our mark on the house. Second time he’s been to our house for a snag and no problem at all with Paul.

This is the second time a door handle has gone floppy & my concern is the handle failing entirely and trapping us in a room or unable to access it including our dog. I really wish Anwyl used higher quality fittings for high traffic areas etc.

Josh arrived on time and completed repairing the snags cleanly and efficiently

Persistent leak from upstairs bathroom caused damage to our sitting room ceiling.The builder Anwyl has repaired the damage and repaired the decorations to a very high standard.
Excellent repainting job done by Richard Nelson, who was efficient and approachable. Many thanks!

Rich Nelson arrived on Wednesday morning to carry out decoration works around the extract fan within our onsuite. There was water residual due to a problem with the condensate pipe. Rich has done an amazing job which is now all complete. It's a pleasure meeting and speaking with Rich. From matt and Francesca

I had Chris Appleton come and fix some of the snags on the house after we bought it. He was here for 3 days and was friendly and pleasant. He got everything done and worked around me and 2 babies always accommodating around naps and babies needs to where he was working. Thank you Chris

Lee needed to sort hallway door as not closing to ‘the keep’ explained packing out hinges and ‘keep’ to sort. Also fixed both ensuite doors that were sticking at top and not closing. Excellent work and very clean and tidy.

Really helpful, couldn’t resolve all our issues but spoke to the site on our behalf.

Please note, this review relates to Lee not Anwyl Homes. Lee was, as always, very efficient, well mannered and did a great job. He treated the house with the upmost respect and exemplified customer care. Thanks Lee.

Chris and Tony came around to fit my new front door and frame and they were both lovely, polite and did an amazing job with my front door.
It now fits perfect and it is no longer leaking air.
Then Chris came back the following day to do the painting and what a joyful man he is.
Chris couldnt do enough for us and was an absolute pleasure to have him doing jobs at our house.
When he finished everything was just perfect and was left immaculately clean and tidy.
A big shout out to both of them for their great customer service and for doing an amazing job, thank you so much.

After five years, we’ve discovered significant black mould on an exterior bathroom wall. An NHBC inspection confirmed this was caused by poorly installed and entirely missing insulation. Although we flagged this in our initial snagging report within the first year, and Anwyl claimed to have fixed it, it is now clear the work was never done correctly. Despite the NHBC confirming the defect, Anwyl is hiding behind the two-year warranty period to avoid responsibility for their original mistake. Disappointing service and poor build quality.

I'm unable to attach screenshots or the report or the correspondence between myself and anwyl however below was their response to my complaint email - poor is an understatement.

"I confirm that we’ve now received a copy of the report from the NHBC following their recent inspection. A copy of the report should also have been sent through to you aswell for review.
The NHBC have confirmed that they won’t be talking any further action with the claim. As the house is now outside it’s 2-year warranty period we’ll be unable to assist you any further.

The actions contained within the report should form part of your usual homeowner maintenance regime."

I recently had work done in my home by Anwyl, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!
Lee effectively addressed the creaking floors in the bedroom.
Josh took care of a double set of stairs. He expertly racked the skirting, filled any gaps, sanded the surfaces, and painted everything to perfection.

The attention to detail and quality of workmanship were outstanding!
I can truly say Anwyl aftercare is 5/5

Anwyl -you have nailed it! I absolutely love my home on the Eagles Green, Warrington site. The attention to detail in building my home has been ace. The team I have dealt with along the way to buying and moving in have been professional, competent and very easy to deal with. There’s the wonderful Debbie and Sam in the sales office and site managers Ian, Andy and Lewis, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Thinking of buying a new home - don’t hesitate to buy Anwyl.

Tony Murray was great, got everything done with minimal disruption and mess. Top man!

We moved into our Anwyl home in Sep 2024. We were first time buyers and loved the Burscough site. We dealt with Stephanie and Kelly who have been great and we felt supported throughout the whole process. We also were supported by site manager and his team. We are very pleased with our house and we are very glad we decided to move to Burscough. I would highly recommended anyone to go and see Stephanie and Kelly as they are friendly and approachable. We have recently recommend a friend to move to the site. I would definitely recommend anyone to buy an Anwyl home as the build quality and customer service is great 😊.
