My experience with Mark in Autobuy.ie was excellent.
He was very professional and offered a fair price on my car sale. The whole process was completed in less that an hour. Tea or coffee was also available. The friendly staff and nice office space made everything so easy.
No hesitation in recommending Autobuy to anyone that is looking to sell a used car.

Got offered between 2250-3750 online with 1 month of doe on a van, went an hour over the road to be offered 2500 if I got a new doe on the van.
The van is 2013 an insult if you ask me,
My van had 280kms on it they were showing me a 19 plate van with 175kms it had more hits then the beetles on it but wanted 11,900 for it he said my van had massive millage..

I was offered a price via link and went I got there was offered a much much lower offer. It was a pure insult. They are totally unprofessional and try to pay as little as possible for cars.
I found the salesman had " a total know it all attitude" and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. As he kept repeating "it's a process"
They prey on desperate people trying to sell their car.
Stay away. Get better deals with honest people on donedeal. I would rather give my car away for free than sell to that company.

The offers you get here for cars are unbelievably low - I reckon about 15-25% of the actual value of the vehicle if it's older than 5 years, more like insults than serious offers. Sold my car within 24 hours on Donedeal for a reasonable price with minimal effort. Don't be tempted by this crowd, they're out to fleece you.

Don’t waste your time and energy.
Like most reviews on this company we had a ridiculously waste of a meeting with John today in Hyundai Mooneys of Longmile Road. I’m only delighted that he wasted his own company’s time with his sleezy sales skills. My own career was in sales and you can spot these lads like John a mile away. I first got an email offering me between €11,500 and €12,750 for a car that was valued on carzone for €19,500. I responded and said it was way less than I was looking for. He then sent another email and suggested I book in an appointment and he’d do his best to give me more. Pure bullshit. He had the cheek to then offer €10,000, for a car which, by the way I sold this afternoon for €17,700.

Waste of time. Got quote of 1-2.5k for a car that is selling for 6.5-8.5k with the same mileage and condition on Carzone. Obviously expect a garage to make a decent profit but these are just praying on the desperate because that's only who would sell to these lads.

They offer very low money for any car. I’ve put a request in twice for the same car and got 2 very different low quotes. I highly recommend not using this company.

Yous advertise you get back with a quote within half an hr.the woman in drumkeen motors donegal dealing with us was suppose to ring us back.5 times we had to contact her over a week..false advertising 😠

There is no option for (no) star!
They will not provide you with any clear documented communication ( maybe a link that will have a fair price, and the link will disappear once click confirm appointment later on, so you lose it). You will arrive to shockingly low prices.with a range that goes as low as 50-60% lower than market prices for same car....that u would prefer to give it for free to someone in need...at leadt ur called a charitable person not an idiot.

Shocking to talk to and offer frankly insulting valuations. Offering 50% market value for cars. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing. I asked for a valuation on my car and filled in the valuation form diligently, with all details and photos attached.

I got a valuation, in the range between EUR 400 and EUR 1200. Very wide range, is not it?

No further details on what would drive the price were provided.

When I arrived to Autobuy, a.k.a. Mooney's Hyundai dealer on Long Mile road in Dublin, they offered me EUR 300. They could not explain why the price suddenly dropped through the bottom.

Absolute insult and scam ! bought a car from local dealers for €11,000 5 months ago (2014 reg ) . The dealers are linked with autobuy . I want to go back to BMW so i thought i would try autobuy. Sent me a quote for back €4,500 . This has to be a joke of a company wouldn't be surprised if they came out as a scam in a few years.

Waste of time - 3hour journey only to be offered 1,750 less than what Aidan had said it was worth in emails wouldn’t have bothered had I known. Misleading service. Very helpful in emails but barely spoke to us when we were there.

"Avoid at all cost" Gave a fair valuation by email after submitting details and lots of pics of the car, but when I went into them they insulted me with a different offer. Terrible business model... having people take time off work etc.to get to there office to waste their time.. Only gave a 1 star as couldn't give 0..
