Great concept but a waste of time. Made an appointment to sell my car in Jack Doran and when I arrived the sales rep looked at me as if I was intruding. Hadn't any information about what I had been offered and was rude. Bad communication between Autobuy and garages it seems, with the sales rep stating it was the bane of his life. Left the garage with my car as I was told they couldn't offer me anything as the car was also listed on Done Deal. Maybe this was something I missed but wasn't aware this would hinder the sale. Would not recommend.

Nathan in Kenny Galway made my day, got really fair deal for my car, process was quick and easy. I had best customer experience where I felt like a customer not like desperate idiot other car dealers make you feel when you trying sell your car. Would recommend him all day any day.

I Was just offered 15k for my 2 year old car with 20k kms. The car was 35k new. Are these guys pulling offers out a hat blindfolded. Joke of a service. Avoid.

I had an appointment for 5pm this Monday to get my car valued at Hinchy's Limerick. I arrived a 4.55pm and was informed by the receptionist that John will be with me shortly. I waited and after another couple of minutes I was informed that John would be free in about another 10 minutes. That was fine and I waited. At this point I was the only person sitting in the waiting area just opposite the reception. I was left sitting there, waiting without any of the staff approaching me until 5.50 pm. I saw the staff and the receptionist basically getting ready to go home - they close at 6pm. At that point I just left and went home. I wasn't going to leave a negative review until today when I got an email that they are sorry I missed my appointment with them and would I like to re-book.
No, I didn't miss my appointment. I arrived ahead of the booked time slot, I had been ignored for an hour and I went home. And, no, I wouldn't like to book another appointment. This is not the way to treat customers and I took my custom elsewhere.

Just left my Black Honda Jazz in today. 2008 and 160 thousand Ks. Needs some body work but otherwise it is solid and runs well. I should have read the reviews before I brought it over. I was paid €150. I feel totally robbed. Would definitely not recommend selling your car there. The staff member was polite and professional but in my opinion not fair. Roslyn, H. Dublin

Quick and easy. Took the stress out of selling a car. Money transferred immediately. Always going to be some give on the price in return for this service. Would thoroughly recommend if highest price is not essential.

If you are looking for a quick sale and fast cash like I was then its ok. Dont expect anything even close to the market value. My car had some body problems but running perfectly. If I had put a few hundred into it I would have got at least tripple what I got from Autobuy. Kind of felt robbed when leaving but sometimes you have to cut your losses.

Super quick and extremely efficient to deal with. Brought my car over to Mooneys on the longmile road for them to check it out and test drive. Very fair amount offered, deal done there and then. Money transferred into my account within the hour. Extremely pleasant experience. Would highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

Auto it offer a price range of €100 to €500. As soon as I arrived at the dealer the offer was €100. Nothing to do with the condition of the car. Solely based on the model which they new when they made the first offer. I believe the price range was a deliberate scam to get me to the dealer. They had no intention of paying more than €100.

Got a quote today for my Audi S5. Was quoted around 25000 if I could sell by tomorrow. These cars are on Carzone for 55000!!! A joke and insulting to me. If it looks too good to be true it always is. AVOID.

Daylight robbery, avoid. Received a quote for my 3 year old car, top specs, full service history, one owner, very well maintained, low mileage so you can get the gist, a jackpot of a car. John told me the car would be worth between €5300-6800. Absolutely no way, this car sells for at least €20,000 or more online! Avoid this place like the plague!

If you're looking to sell, you car in a hurry, go for it.
Very low valuation for 211 van, very low mileage €12250.
Looked up the the dealership website, who did the valuation.
Spotted the exact same spec van, different make, Peugeot, Opel & Citroen are all based on the same chassis and interior, is also the same. The front is the only thing which would identify the make.
The same van , with higher milage €21000. Nice margin
Wouldn't bother getting a valuation off them again, as it was a main dealer who contacted me, they'll offer silly money, if you agree, the dealership is quids in. Taking advantage of people, in a hurry to sell.

False information online, not an actual offers received. 40% less than quoted online. Waste of time to book an appointment.

Two stars for the very straightforward process, money paid at the scene. That's being said, very low quote, paid me 12'000 and two weeks later I saw my ex-car was for sale on Carzone.ie for 18950!

I highly recommend autobuy if you are willing to sell your car. It was fast and efficient especially to Mark he was remarkable easy to talk to also well organised. He clearly talk me through the whole process every detail. Thanks again.
