We loved how close the Blackhaus was to…
We loved how close the Blackhaus was to downtown Palm Springs. Set up was perfect with 2 bedrooms. We were a little surprised how unfinished the unit looked with plywood for a curling but grew on us over time. I did not give 5 stars for 2 reasons.,,no shades in the living room. The afternoon sun was unbearable in that room. Also, the living room air conditioning was broken. The window unit worked fine but would have liked a heads up. Overall we had a great time.

This is one of the prettiest locations we have stayed at. Everything was so clean and fresh. The layout is so easy for a multigenerational group with the quiet master and the other bedrooms removed from the main living and entertaining rooms. The backyard is just stunning and so easy to relax in

AvantStay went above and beyond with…
AvantStay went above and beyond with this property in Pacific Beach. The house was clean, with more than enough towels and in unit laundry. The sauna and outdoor area were incredible. The neighborhood is quiet so it was relaxing at night. They were extremely accommodating with an early check in and late check out. And they checked in incase we needed anything mid-trip. Would absolutely stay here again.

They cancelled on us 10 days before our trip!!
We had a group of over 20 people booked through AvantStay back in January. Everything was planned months in advance—travel, meals, and group logistics were all coordinated around this property.
Then, just 10 days before our arrival, we received a phone call informing us that AvantStay was canceling our reservation because they “no longer had access to the property.”
Let that sink in.
How does a company take thousands of dollars in deposits, hold a reservation for months, and then simply walk away from it days before check-in? Guests are required to commit financially and contractually—but apparently AvantStay has no obligation to actually deliver the property they’re representing.
Yes, they offered a refund—but that’s the bare minimum. They:
* Did not provide a comparable alternative (the option they suggested was significantly smaller and in an inferior location)
* Offered zero additional compensation
* Took no responsibility for the disruption caused
We were left scrambling to rebook accommodations for a large group at the last minute—while also needing to rearrange transportation, reservations, and logistics that had already been set based on the original location.
The communication throughout this process was poor, reactive, and completely lacking accountability. For a company that presents itself as a premium vacation rental provider, this experience was far below expectations.
If you’re considering booking with AvantStay, understand this:
your reservation is not guaranteed—even if you’ve paid in full months in advance.
I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you’re planning a trip that requires coordination for a larger group.

We had the most wonderful staycation! The place was big enough to hold our entire family, the pool area is very inviting, and the neighbourhood is wonderful. Our family can’t say enough great things about this Solana Beach house! We would definitely stay there again.

A room clean
A room clean, high ceilings, private outdoor area, coffee machine, clean towels, a fan, emergency light, and all the necessities you may think!
A clean neat room and bed was amazing good, pillows not so good, but I'm hard to please because I love hard pillows not soft, I could have requested but I forgot, but overall 90 % great place.
We are coming back 🙌

They think of the details so you can actually relax
All the details were thought out, well stocked, and intentionally laid out and explained to be able to truly relax. I have stayed at hundreds of vacation rentals and it is rare that every drawer and cabinet and pillow is thoughtfully curated, checked, cleaned, and ready for their guests. Like a 4 star hotel!
House was very clean. There were items included like garbage bags. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo etc.

Great place! We will be back!!
My husband and I stayed for a week and loved every second! We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it too! The yard is lush and the fence is in great shape! We felt very confident the dogs were secure in the yard. Plenty of room for them to run and play too. The pool was such a nice break from the several beach days. The inside had everything we needed. It’s decorated so well. The beds are comfy, showers are roomy. Having a washer and dryer came in handy as well. The house is conveniently located on 361 so we could ride the golf cart to most places in PA! It was such a relaxing ride down the beach. It’s only about a 10 minute drive by vehicle to north Padre for other restaurants I would bring a rake or shovel for the sea weed on the beach. I’m not sure if that’s year round but it was substantial when we were there. If you drive the golf cart to where the beaches are maintained by the city; they are very clean! Lots of dogs on the beach and all were leashed and well behaved. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Avant Stay was great to work with. They constantly communicated before, during and after our stay making sure everything was to our satisfaction. This was our first time to PA and it might just be our new go-to vacation getaway.

A property that checks all the boxes!
The property was in a great location. It was a beautiful house with so much room and so many amenities! Our family has a lot of different dynamics and the number of bedrooms as well as the different bed options was super helpful! We will definitely stay here again!
