As a present from me, I cannot comment on the wines.
I have used the company several times previously.

Very efficient service

The wine was delivered to the wrong address. It was delivered to the Old Byre, rather than further down the drive to Grove Farm. Luckily I was on hand and brought the box here out of the sun. This is the first time I have a problem with delivery from Averys.

Easy ordering, rapid delivery, great value!

Poor - very poor. Order two cases and once one arrived was not made aware the other one would be delayed by almost 2 weeks. The new courier service is dire no notice inconsistent time schedules and one would think at least a working map showing drivers delivery whereabouts & time frame.

This company sells a 'membership' at £26.99 a year. One of the benefits is supposedly next day delivery, but after paying this membership for a few years now, the first time I tried to use next day delkivery I was told this wasn't available. Seems like a bit of a rip-off.

It’s been a couple of years that I have (possibly too..;-)) regularly received wine and recommendations in ordering from Avery’s. The experience has become even better since James Penson became my wine advisor. His mannerism and character suit me and his knowledge keeps great wine flowing my way 🍷I call, we chat, laugh order wine and it arrives the very next day! Awesome!!
