Very helpful staff who provided a good bargain

Excellent advice and excellent service, delivered in a timely manner, as ever. One niggle this time - this came as 6 bottles in a 12-bottle case and the internal dividers had shifted such that the bottles were clinking together (too much space). Fortunately the deliverers were careful and none of the bottles were broken. Waiting for the next 6 (on reserve) and hope that they will be delivered in a 6-bottle box.

All great ,except both for the environment and Avery's bottom line why do you send 2 deliveries of 6 bottles each, when I was happy to receive both together a day later when the second one arrived.

My family has trusted Averys for a long time. The standards of this firm remain totally reliable, commercially responsible, and the presentation is both informative [First Rate] and everyone at Averys are very pleasant to deal with. The range of wines is vast, from World Class to what I call Good Reds and Nice Whites. At present, I deal with Richard Abraham: I enjoy a practical working customer relationship with Richard that does NOT involve a microsecond of Sales Hype.

The wine that I ordered is excellent and the service I received was excellent

We ordered a special Shiraz deal on a pre order in April and only later did it become apparent the wine would not be available until August. In mid August we enquired as to when we could expect it and were told that it would be delivered week commencing 17 August. At the end of that week the balance of the cost was taken from our credit card. The wine didn’t appear the next week so I enquired again and was told that the wine was “stuck” in the warehouse. On28th August I followed up and was told it would arrive the next day. It eventually arrived on the 2 September after further chasing. Not a good experience

Wine always arrives well packed and in good time and, of course, it's wonderfully drinkable.
