Good wine, rotten delivery
The wine is great, but the delivery -- whether of a new order or of wines released from bond -- is SO BAD that I do not want to deal with Avery's ever again, at least not until you have chosen a more responsible delivery partner. I've been a customer for longer than I can remember, but all trust is gone.

I ordered an all reds mixed BBQ case
I ordered an all reds mixed BBQ case. Two bottles were substituted with white wine, not red wine. I am dealing with my mother in laws death and not in a fit state to argue this one! A swift reply to this review generated a pleasing solution, thank you

Service from Averys was excellent . Wine good too
Service from Averys was excellent and fast but delivery a small problem. Despite having had deliveries for years they said they could not find our property.Learning it was to be late I informed them to leave the case with a neighbour which they failed to do so case left on doorstep in full sun and view of passers by

Brilliant Service
I phoned and Joel, my normal contact, wasn't immediately available but he phoned me back in about 20 minutes. We worked through what I wanted to order and he agreed to put together a bespoke package. The wines arrived within 2 days. Absolutely brilliant service

If at first you don't succeed
If at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again. Delivery at the heart of this - in a rural area. Which means being prepared to find the location - unfortunately the first service not willing to even try. A new service, nagged by James Penson, got it to my door today, in time for me to chill some white for summer drinking.
