The ring you received is crafted with thick gold vermeil plating over solid S925 sterling silver, which is a high-quality, hypoallergenic base. Like all plated jewelry, especially when worn daily, some natural wear and tear over time—particularly on the underside of the band—is expected. This can vary based on skin pH, lifestyle, and care. That said, we offer complimentary polishing advice, care tips, and in some cases, one-time replacements to support our customers.

💎 About the Stones:
We exclusively use high-grade moissanite or lab-grown gemstone simulants to offer beautiful, ethical, and affordable alternatives to mined gems. While they may not be natural amethyst or diamond, they are crafted to match the appearance and sparkle of their natural counterparts—often exceeding them in brilliance and durability. We make this clear in our product descriptions to ensure transparency.

❗Regarding Your Cancellation Request:
As noted during checkout and on our policy page, custom-made items can only be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order. After that, each piece enters our production queue and is handcrafted specifically for you. Because every item is made-to-order, we’re unable to cancel or alter the process once production begins. This ensures the unique quality and personalization of every piece.

After reviewing your order and all communication, we’d like to clarify a few important points for transparency:

The ring purchased was a custom, made-to-order piece in gold vermeil, which is a thick layer of real gold over sterling silver — not solid gold. This distinction is clearly outlined on our product pages and is important when it comes to expectations around durability and care. Gold vermeil, while beautiful and high quality, requires proper handling to avoid bending or fading over time.

We also want to stress that we’re not refusing help — quite the opposite. From the moment you reached out, we’ve offered to replace the ring completely free of charge, even though it was a custom final sale item. All we’ve asked for is a photo of the damage so we can verify the issue and process the replacement, which is a standard procedure to ensure accountability and quality control.

As of now, we’re still waiting to receive the requested photo in order to move forward.

We genuinely care about making this right and ensuring your granddaughter receives a beautiful piece she can cherish. If you’re open to continuing the conversation, we’re here and ready to help — we just need your cooperation to complete the process.
