DO NOT ORDER FROM AWOK. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY

I ordered an item on Awok.ae.
The product arrived with the box badly damaged. The item was also not working.
I registered a complaint on Awok.ae on 07-05-2020 with the ticket no. 351-588-837-520.
I have so far not received any reply from Awok regarding my complaint.
They do not have a phone number to reach them.

After 2 MONTHS they still have not collected the item requested for return and they have done NOTHING to refund the money.

Surprised they still operate in DUBAI. Do not buy ANYTHING from them. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY FOR SURE!

Refund date required since you cancelled my order

I placed an order on May 29 and prepaid it through the card and regrettably it is yet to be delivered . My Order number is 84838630A1. I have tried to contact every medium they have put up on their app as a customer service and it’s all a scam ! I have had no response it’s like a pathetic joke ! They are a fraud company and I do not know how to get my money back !! Can anyone advise a way out !!!

Awok team responded with a standard useless revert and also arbitrarily cancelled my order by stating that my case has been sent to their finance team for a refund ! I want to how the freaking refund be made ! Through what medium would I get my money back ! I want a very specific and to the point answer and with a very clear picture if refund and a date too ! Plus I want to know if awok team can respond here on a third party portal then why isn’t their own customer service pages , numbers missing in action ! Is this just a PR stunt

Anyways I want my money back or else this issue is going to the authorities !

Dear Seller, actually we did not have sellers for the past six months as we have our own purchase team and main big sellers from China directly. Even before the pandemic, sellers in UAE only repsents less than 0.3% of our annual hundreds of millions of value of products to our millions of customers. As we hope that we could pass on saving to our customers. We gradually realize that sellers in UAE could not give our customers the lowest possible price for most of those products, and sending cars to collect orders from small sellers has lost a lot of money for company, as you know, cost is very high for collecting products , especially very few ones every day, which hampers our ability to service customers. With that said, please contact your seller agent. In the future, usualy we may only open up sellers program to big item products like home appliance, furniture and etc, and only would do that until seller auto payment feature is ready and tested, win-win structure would be designed for both UAE sellers ,Awok and millions of our customers. You may go with those local categories, not those categories which could be air-shipping directly from China. Otherwise, with the much bigger expensive in UAE, you could not offer the same lowest price for millions of customers and hardly compete with products directly from China manufactorying field. Because we are from the underserved and we are here for those millions of underserved people in mideast. We have to pass on saving to our customers. Always low price is the core principle for our business and for our customers!

Refund in April not processed and Order already 3weeks delayed without notice

I had two orders with AWOK. Order 95708502A1 has been ordered in APRIL and I cancelled it as delivery was delayed and still till now JUNE, my refund has not come yet. Second order, 271 224 70A1 supposed to be delivered on June4 but not yet delivered till now june24. Ive been contacting AWOK since april but no response, EMAILS, PHONES, WHATSAPP and all forms and no responses AT ALL. Can you advise status? I understand there is pandemic but if you are a responsible merchant, you should not allow your APP to proceed with purchases if you have plenty of backlogs, moreso, you should update your system to reflect the true status of delivery should it be so much delayed. You keep on saying to everyone to be safe etc and cases, but please be responsible to monitor your app and close it if you cannot manage instead of allowing people to purchase and get money and refunds not processed coz of backlogs. every penny is iimportant now and you should be truthful to your customers. Its just easy to disable your app and purchases if you wish. Kindly advise status of my orders above since theres no avenue for comms with you.

As what I have seen and read for all compmaints yoi have received, I understand that this all happened due to pandemic. I highly suggest to either close ur site at the moment or atleast put a note regading the delays or unavailability or the items. So ordsr buyers will not end up complaining. O am one of those who purchased online and got frustrated for not receiving the item I already paid. I have cancelled it after a week since no feedback or reply from all your channels.
