Givenergy battery upgrade - my experience of Bambu/SBS
Had an additional G3 battery added to my existing Givenergy system by Bambu through their SBS collaboration.
Very neatly installed and fully configured to the latest software with no fuss. Have had the upgrade just over a week and couldn’t be happier.
Given the warranty situation with Givenergy very glad to have found engineers with the knowledge and experience to help expand and support my system.
Found all communication both before and after installation very detailed and responsive and have confidence in the service offer they are building that they will be there in future should I need them.
If you have made the decision you want to expand your Givenergy system and are looking for a professional outfit that can help I would have no hesitation in recommending Alex and his team.

It’s so my h more than the work
It’s not so much the work, which is very well undertaken, but the attitude and the desire to keep his customers informed that is so impressive.

Totally Professional with Great Customer Service
We changed our internet provider and as a result lost communication with the inverter. Prior to the on site visit the Company communicated with us on a regular basis regarding when they would be able to come. This gave us confidence in their reliability. We were not disappointed and on the day of the visit they were professional and friendly. The problem was quickly fixed and explained. We knew what to do to prevent any future problem.

Had my fuse board changed 2 months ago
Had my fuse board changed 2 months ago, whilst it was being changed my CT clamp broke causing massive problems & causing my solar panels to not work properly as the replacement would not talk to my invert.
Due GivEnergy going under struggled to find anyone interested in helping, finally got passed Alex’s number & suddenly felt like someone wanted to help, after a few chats Alex sorted an engineer to attend my property & fault fixed within an hour.
Alex followed up afterwards & was easily contactable throughout.

A broken CT clamp causing communication issues between the replacement and the inverter is exactly the kind of complex, frustrating fault that can leave you going round in circles — especially in the wake of GivEnergy’s collapse when support has been so hard to come by. We’re really glad Alex was able to step in, make you feel heard and get an engineer out to you promptly to have it all resolved within the hour. Following up afterwards is just as important to us as fixing the problem in the first place, so it’s great to hear that came through. Excellent Service
Just wanted to say thanks to Alex for his assistance on sorting out a delicate issue with a Givenergy battery. He visited the site, attempted to remedy the issue, couldn't, so removed it, got it repaired and re-installed it. He also kept the cost keen, which is always helpful!

GivEnergy systems Alex is your man, if he can't fix it nobody can.
Alex is a very knowledgeable and professional GivEnergy battery storage engineer with vast knowledge of the systems. I required new spares for my own system and Alex was able to supply every thing that I required. These will be stored on the shelf at home in case I have a failure in the future and will be able to be swapped out with the help of Alex immediately. This is the best insurance bought and the down time will be very minimal (not days or weeks) and will be back on line within hours. Five Star experience

Knowledgeable Solar/Battery Professional
Alex is a very knowledgeable solar/battery professional. I described my scenario and the statistics I observed. My secondary battery was not collaborating in our system. He travelled to my home to provide a solution to my issue and the system is now functioning the way it used to.

I was recommended Alex by my installer AskRenewables due to some technical issues with my giv energy batteries. Alex was quick to respond and sorted the problem within 24 hrs providing a full detailed report and advice.

Alex helped out massively today! We had a givenergy inverter that had an update and stopped working, Alex was able to back date the software and re boot the whole system and it’s now up and running! Great support thanks again!
