Enjoyed receiving & reading the first 3 books for my son. I was looking forward to the 4th. I have been contacting them since October to no avail. Wondering if they have now gone out of business. Disappointing & frustrating.

I have not received my paid order since September. I just now researched and found liquidation suggestions. Their website can't be reached.

My child hasn’t received a book for 2 months but I’m still getting charged. Can’t even pull up the website.

The company had gone into liquidation and has not bothered announcing this and is still taking money from people. I urge anyone who reads this to cancel their payments with the banks or PayPal asap I only found out when I claimed via PayPal and had a reply from the liquidators

I contact them several times, but I have not received a reply to any emails at all they have taken money for goods but have not delivered ???

Do not make the mistake of subscribing because you will receive a book, they will charge you, you can cancel, but you will not see any money or book. They are a fraud

I have 2 subscriptions and haven't received a book since July for one and August for the other. Emailed them beginning of October and said they would be sent but still have nothing and now no response to emails and the website seems to have disappeared. Hoping I can claim through paypal.

We did not get our September book and I can not get on the website. I'm trying to cancel, but not getting any responses - just automatic responses. My granddaughter is moving and I don't want to keep paying the monthly fee.

I'm missing September's book. I've sent multiple emails and it feels like I'm being ignored. I've got one reply saying with till the 18th. I did, it's now the 24th, and have been sending emails and no one is helping me. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm also about to be charged for October's book and still waiting to get help about my missing book.

Received the wrong child’s book, took almost 3 weeks to arrive too.

Expensive considering the quality of the book isn't great. Placed an order which included stickers and flashcards. Logged into my account a few days later to remove these items for the next month's order so I wouldn't be charged, only for them to not be sent with the 1st order. Contacted customer support who basically said oh well they can't be sent out now. Wouldn't continue subscription.

Why you are not given an option to unsubscrib even you didn't mentioned that you charged me on monthly bases after first order please cancel my subscription as soon.as possible I.cant found any option in my account

I have been emailing the support email address all week to cancel my future subscriptions as ‘logging on’ there isn’t an option to cancel the subscription. However no response from email, I wouldn’t be surprised if they deduct for the following month.

Only purchase if you are able to commit to the full 12 months as no option to cancel midway if you wanted to.

I have had 2 subscriptions of 12 books for both my grandchildren and both times Beans and Sparks have tried to take money for a 13th book. If I sign up for 12 books I expect it to be just that. All in all I have paid over £360 to this company and would expect them not to be greedy. Cannot find any option to stop this in my online account so have had to unauthorise them in my PayPal account. Also absolutely no rewards as is stated on website. Books all arrived creased due to thin paper envelopes offering no protection. Only carried on subscriptions due to fairness to the children. Very disappointed all in all and will not take out another subscription for subsequent grandchildren! Can you stop trying to take money now please? I have all the books and don't want any more!

Absolutely terrible scam company. They advertise a $1.00 first time book and then after i placed the order for it, it said $10.99 charge? So since there’s NO phone number and no way of logging into my “account” because their website froze after i placed the order.. I emailed them to cancel the book immediately and asked them why it wasn't $1 as listed? I finally got to log in and canceled my subscription and got an email back saying im still going to be charhed $21.99 for the next months book?!! A day later i finally get an email reply saying now it’s too late to cancel the first book since it’s already in production at this point so i am still being charged $10.99. (And no explanation on why it’s not the $1 even though i asked). So because they answer their emails a day late and overcharged me, then it’s my loss, and their attitude is just “oh well, sucks for you🤷🏻‍♀️“ No apology, no explanation, or attempt to try to help.

I have been trying to cancel this club since I got the first book. It won't let me long in. I tried changing my password and it wouldn't let me click on the link. I have tried to e-mail them and it says that something went wrong. DON'T buy.

I have never purchased these subscriptions before and I did it solely based on their ad of $1. Then I was charged $21.XX. I emailed them of their error and said I had membership in 2001. I was not even close to being 18 then as not even reached pre-teen age so how is that even possible? Anyways they refuse to refund and I will be disputing with my credit card company.

Canceled my order back in December, was charged for membership Feb 10. Didnt see until 2 days ago.Tried to log into system, no credentials in systems so can't even view the order. Contact customer service who states she can't find a timestamp of cancellation, but sends me pictures of an active membership with no dates on it. Refuses to refund, so contacted my credit card. This place is charging $30 for a poorly written and illustrated book, when I could have just went to wallgrens and printed my own book for $5

My little ones love the 12 book series- what a great little find! Thank you beans and sparks for our lovely books, stickers and cardlettes! We will cherish the very cleverly written and rhyming stories- they are wonderfully personalised and will last for years to come with the quality waxy pages.
