We started looking for a monitor system when our baby was about 6 months old , and my husband started looking into potential radiation impact monitoring systems may have. Lo and behold, he found that mostly all baby monitors emit radiation! This is not a major topic of discussion in baby monitor research articles or in forums for some reason! We looked for a safer option and found that Bebcare was the ONLY company at the time (don't know if still true today) that advertised low- or no-emissions monitoring systems. Shocking, but we were happy someone was thinking about it.

We got the Motion Digital Video Baby Monitor since we didn't want to transmit to our phones (also harder to hackers to hack I believe). It's been over a year, and I'm absolutely happy with it. The picture/sound quality are great, and you have a lot of options (sound detection, temp alarms..). I love being able to move the camera with a wide range and talk through the camera when my baby wakes up/fusses - never thought I would need that.

This is not the fanciest system with all the latest bells and whistles (boundary alerts, other latest trends we didn't need), and the picture quality is not the best on the market, but it is very good quality and has great useful features (beyond just basics) which is all we needed. The safety of my baby comes first frankly.

We had an issue with our after 6 months of use, and the customer service was amazing! They replaced my unit within warranty timeframe with no issue! I will be buying another camera from them again if I have another baby :-)

USPS lost the adapters when package was enroute to my friend’s address. This was a baby shower gift. My friend contacted Bebcare customer support to get a pair of replacement adapters. Sent out the next day so she got a working baby monitor quickly.

One of the packages went missing when Canadian post delivered it to me. There was no shipping insurance, so the company sent me a new unit

Lesson learned - don’t use Canadian post

My monitor arrived on my door steps DOA. The thing just wouldn’t turn on. The packaging box was half torn off when I got it. Obviously UPS wouldn’t do anything about this situation, but luckily Bebcare sent me a replacement monitor when I emailed their customer support.

Lost a charger… got a replacement at their Cambridge office in person. quick service, got the monitor working again! Yay! 😉

we have two trouble makers at home… one is almost 3 years old and younger one is 1 month old… u can imagine it gets pretty hectic when my husband is not at home

anyhow i rely on the monitor to watch the two kiddos and makes my life a bit easier

We had a faulty parent unit because the screen turned black after using the monitor for 18 months. The product is already out of the warranty but the team still assisted me patiently and got me a replacement baby monitor :)

Before you purchase this product from a rather unknown company making unverified claims about reduced EMF exposure on a wifi baby monitor, I'd suggest you look at the return policy on their website. Number one, they only give you 14 days from date of purchase (not the date you receive the shipment) to return the device. Number two, a mandatory 20% re-stocking fee is deducted for any return. Number three, if you use any promo code they will reject your return...the sale is final. Number four, if you purchase the device directly from Bebcare's website (which lists a Massachusetts mailing address), your credit card will be charge by a HONG KONG company as an international charge. Beware, based on the return policy alone you can tell this company doesn't stand behind their product. Make sure you read the google reviews as well, not all the paid blogger reviews.
