I had a fantastic experience and a pleasure to deal with this company throughout. I bought 4 benches for 4 different houses. Delivery was very quick and Rob worked tirelessly to get them all assembled without fuss. Would strongly recommend for product and service.

This is a case of either extremely poor communication or possibly deception. The best I can say of my experience was they did refund me relatively quickly once it became clear they had no intention of actually delivering. This is a shame because they may be good benches... if you were to ever get one.

I originally requested a custom sized bench, paid in full on 27/04 having been told there would be a delivery to Scotland "next week".

Two weeks later, on 08/05, they said they'd be delivering the following day. This delivery never occurred, supposedly because they did not have a contact number (though they did have my address).

On 17/05 I was WhatsApp'd to say it would be with me on "Sunday/Monday". This did not happen either (but they clearly had my number and 2 methods of contact, not counting snail mail). Then there was silence despite my chasing until...
On 13/06 they would be in my area "hopefully this Friday" and blamed it on my e-mail bouncing, even though they had used WhatsApp successfully before.
On 15/06 I was told it should "hopefully" arrive the next day.

On 19/06, after asking where it was, I was told excuses and offered a refund.

An excuse is ok, but 2 months of them is not. Also, as mentioned at the start, the bench was a custom size so it was either clogging up a van and stopping short repeatedly, or was never out for delivery in the first place. Some of the other reviews suggest Scotland delivery is seemingly not done. This was never raised throughout the 2 months of correspondence and claimed delivery dates, all while my money sat in their bank account.

Great product and fantastic customer service. Needed bench by the Friday (for a party) and was booked in on the Wednesday. Rob had van troubles on the Wednesday and couldn’t get to us but promised he would get to us the next day – and didn’t let us down. Communicated throughout Thursday with his ETA and got to us at 9pm (in a hire van). Thanks BenchUK. Highly recommend.

I broke my back last year and looked all over for a table with back rests so I could relax in the garden
This one is perfect solid chunky wood not flimsy at all
I needed something robust as some family members are solid and chunky too I changed the size from 4 seats to 6 no trouble at all
Rob contacted me to deliver earlier as he was in the area
He came and built it on the spot i wanted he also asked if i wanted the corners shaping which finished it off nicely
This is an excellent price other benches were more expensive and no where near their quality

Absolutely Delighted with this brilliant service and high quality bench, Rob was exceptionally helpful when we needed to postpone our delivery date and it was even constructed at our home, saving me a ton of time and energy! many thanks for everything, I’ll be back for more stuff soon!

Absolutely perfect. Arrived on time and immediately proceeded to assemble my new bench. Perfect in every way. Great quality, great value and outstanding service. Didn't even have time for tea, just got on with it.
Really friendly and highly efficient. Such a nice company to deal with thanks to the superb efforts of Rob and his team. I would recommend dealing with these guys in every way and the support they offer their customers in aftercare is really impressive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you Rob and team for such an perfect buying experience. In these times when so much seems to go wrong, it's nice to know that there are companys such as this who truly care about and value their customers.

DO NOT BUY from this company! A bench was purchased in good faith. It was delivered when no-one present. When it was checked - 8 planks were split, writing was visible on the bench, pink staining product was all over the bench and it was so rough you could not sit or eat from it - therefore not fit for purpose. Rob said someone would repair but no-one came. 2 months later - no-one has repaired! A refund has been requested but they have said we need to pay for the return despite it being damaged and unfit for purpose. Poor communication. Poor quality. Poor customer service!! AVOID at all costs.

So happy with my purchase. I originally ordered an 8 seater scaffold table & benches. I accidentally made a mistake and changed to a 10 seater. Rob was brilliant being able to amend my order. When it arrived omg it was better than I expected, I absolutely love it. I have my table and benches in my kitchen the amount of people which have commented on how great it looks. I highly recommend this business so much so I'm be placing another order next year for some garden furniture

Bench was put together WRONG , I had to rectify myself as Rob wasn't sure when he would be back.. Then had Problems with one of the Table top planks had warped badly, took forever to get a reply. Expressed my Disappointment many times in text to Rob.. no reply.. then all planks on the 2 metre table tops flex so nothing sits straight on table. I TAKE IT A REFUND IS OUT THE WINDOW !!! This has been going on since April. Not as good as I first thought.

Customer service useless couldn't speak to anyone. Emails they don't reply to. Took 2 months for delivery no notification when they were delivering it.
So we were not in to check it put together as a result it was split in places. First time it was sat on it COLLAPSED. What a joke

We are so happy with our new benches. Reece, the guy who delivered and put them together is such a lovely bloke, a real credit to Bench UK. The quality is amazing and anyone thinking about buying garden benches look no further!!

Their order system only appears to allow abnak transfer. As I want to pay by Visa so my order is insured I tried calling them. The tel number (London) was inoperable and they have not replied to my email. So no complaint about the product as I have not seen it but the order process was very poor.

Yes delivery was a little later than the 7 day target stated on the website, and we did become a little apprehensive after placing our order & seeing other reviews - however Rob seemed a really genuine guy working hard just trying to keep up with orders and the bench is great quality and just what we were looking for.

Ordered, delivered and built in 8 days which I consider to be excellent service! Add in the fact that I actually ordered the wrong size bench initially and had to change it! Communication was good through WhatsApp and email.

Ordered an 8 seater picnic table with backs around 3 weeks ago.

Emailed last night just to check on what stage it was up to, to be told it would be delivered this evening or tomorrow. After reading a few reviews on here I was a bit skeptical, especially as we’re quite far away from where the benches are made, but it arrived at 6:30 tonight, after a phonecall a couple of hours earlier to say it was on its way.

Really lovely couple who put it together for us, and enjoyed chatting to them at the end while they fussed the dogs.

They did mention the company is having to expand as they have had so many orders, so just be a little patient if you are still waiting.

Overall a lovely experience.
