Fast, easy and economical!
With lots of LLC options on the internet, I found BetterLegal to be super easy to use, fast and economical. In addition, the option to add vetted services like banking and taxes is helpful.

Relatively simple to follow and easy to understand. I encountered a minor issue, got on live chat and was able to resolve immediately. Received confirmation within minutes, received package a day later and was kept informed of next steps. Highly recommend the service provided!

Super Simple but too Simple
Really was happy with the service, simple, efficient and well priced compared to competitors. Love to know that everything is able to be opted into, and that we can maintain our own filing or have the assistance of betterlegal. The only thing that made it lose a star was that for our registered agents here in GA we need an email address for the agent. BetterLegal didn't provide this. I took an educated guess as to what email address to use, but hopefully this isn't a future issue.

Smoother process
I compared BetterLegal's process for filling a LLC with that of the state website. BetterLegal's process was smoother. I choose BetterLegal's system because it offered more information and suggestions of partnerships with other companies for other probable needs.

Setting up my LLC was very simple and easy. No confusion at all. Everything was sent to my email so I can never loose any documentation. Also they communicated very well. You definitely should start with them. I highly recommend for anyone new starting out with a business.

Hi Dionne, we advertise fees in the exact same manner as all of our competitors which are as follows:
- Formation Company Fee
- State Filing Fee
On every page that we display our pricing, we show both with the added ability to select your state so you can see their fee alongside ours.
In addition to that, on the payment page we show very clearly the line item for each charge at the very top along with the total you're paying so there should have been absolutely zero confusion in this matter.
EDIT:
After digging deeper, I see that you are a Registered Agent subscriber only and didn't form your business with us which means you would have paid $90/year for this service. I'm not sure where the $300 you mention is coming from, while that is the state filing fee cost for an LLC in Texas, you did not buy that service from us.

BetterLegal made this process so easy. I also like that there is just a one-time fee that explains the cost breakdown. Including all the templates I would need for my corporation moving forward was also extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again.

SCAM
SCAM!
I've paid 300$ to open an LLC and get an EIN number.
After more than 6 months, I haven't received it.
BetterLegal did not answer my last emails.
Massive loss of time, and money.
My LLC is useless if I can't get an EIN number.
There are way better services out there.
Just don't bother yourself with them.

Hi RR, while I understand and sympathize to why you're upset, BetterLegal is definitely not a scam and is an inappropriate claim to make.
I can't see your name and you didn't list your business so we have no way to look up or verify your issues, but you can DM me personally on Linkedin and I'll make sure you're taken care of.
I can see however that you're from France and so my immediate assumption is that you got stuck in the IRS' ITIN to EIN issue. While any non-US citizen can open an LLC, the US government wants to make sure you're not laundering money for terrorism or drugs so they require you go through an extra process to get a US equivalent of a Social Security Number, this is called an ITIN.
Once you have your ITIN, you can get an EIN, but sadly the US is not the most efficient with this. So while I understand that you're upset, it is the IRS creating this bottleneck, not us.
LIke I said, we're more than happy to help you and make sure you're taken care of, but do also understand we work on US business hours, so if you're trying to get us outside of that, there might be some delays.
