2nd Motebecane bike I've purchased. I love my bike and great price too!

The company stood behind their pledge to offer a return and refund if not satisfied with the bicycle they purchased.

Broken box, no instructions, no tools, misaligned wheels, flimsy material, bad service, no variety selection

The price from bikesdirect is great so it's a good value. But Over the past few years, I have ordered a few bikes from them that each arrived damaged. They always blame the shipper as well even though the box is in great shape.

I have purchased and enjoyed 4 bikes from bikes direct. I recently purchased one that did not fit me and I was able to return it. My tip is to carefully inspect and partially assemble your new bike to make sure it's suitable for you. Also, pay attention to sizing. Bikes direct has some nice bargains they should include more thorough geometry charts in description though.

I have been purchasing Motobecane bikes since high school! I’m in college now with children and still buy from Bikesdirect.com! I trust these bikes and ride black diamond trails. Zero issues! Always quality!

Displeased with the bike.

My recent purchase from BikesDirect.com was a complete letdown. I bought a child's bike (Gravity Liberty 26in), advertised as "super-light 23.5-24 lbs" with "Smooth Shimano Shifters/Derailleur." However, the reality was starkly different.

The bike arrived weighed much far heavier than advertised. The "smooth" shifters and derailleur offered a rough, unsatisfying ride – frankly, my $100 Walmart bike delivers a much better experience. The most shocking aspect was the exceptionally poor paint quality, which looked incredibly cheap and substandard, even compared to the most budget-friendly bikes on the market. This bike was clearly misrepresented.

Upon return, they refused to issue a full refund. They don't care about customer service and they certainly don't sell a quality product

My brother bought one of your bikes a few years ago. He raved about it and told me about you. The model was updated, and apparently not the same. The chart says 16" for people up to 5'9", and 18" bike for people from 5'9" to 6'. His is an 18, and felt much too big for me so i ordered a 16. I'm 5'8" but have 33' inseam. The bike i received is too small. And the derailleurs were making noise, so needed adjustment. The videos said the front should be 2mm above the largest chain wheel. On the bike i got, it was a half inch. In moving it down and then trying to adjust, we frayed the cable after loosening and tightening so many times. And the front tire went flat after the first short ride on paved streets. So the bike sits now.

The bike was everything that was advertised. It came 80-90% assembled in just about a week. I got my first ride in today and I am excited for the next one!

Even though the website gives “is this a scam?” vibes, I ordered my now beloved single speed Gravity bike and hoped for the best. Bike shipped within 48 hours, received my tracking number via email, everything arrived intact and well packaged. My one gripe I guess would be that the manual is extremely basic and not actually helpful for assembling. Luckily, the internet exists.

Brutal, spent 275.00 at shop to get it right. Awful

2nd time I've bought a bike here, both times have been hassle free and the products arrived as advertised.

My Gravity eMonster bike arrived as advertised, partly assembled and in undamaged condition. After an hour of assembly, and tightening down every bolt, I went out for a ride. The bike rides great, seems to get almost 40 miles per charge, and is just plain fun. There was a minor issue with the throttle, but Bikes Direct and Bafang are on it. The prices are really good, and e bikes are a blast...you probably need to buy one from Bikes Direct.
