From my first phone call enquiry to purchase of vehicle the sales guys Tom & Paul were very professional, polite and helpful.

I just bought a car from Matt Hemmingway at Kia Birchwood. He could not have been more helpful with getting me a good deal and then explaining the car to me. He spent a lot of time showing me the car when I picked it up and has since been very quick to reply to queries about it, very patiently.

We had a big problem with our Kia just before Christmas, after I broke down on the a27. They weren’t able to book us in until 8 Jan (fair enough as I think this was the week before Christmas). They managed to sort us out a loan car over Christmas so we could still see family, and got the work done on our Kia within a day on the 8th and under warranty. Ben (I think?!) and Lucy from the service department cheerfully and helpfully fielded several calls from me about the warranty as we hadn’t purchased the car through them, to help me get the information I needed from the company I purchased from to ensure the warranty would not be void.

I couldn’t fault them and I’m really grateful for the help.

We had a really good service from Matthew. The whole process from test driving to buying the car was straightforward and went smoothly. This is our second car purchased from Birchwood Washington.

I have had two annual checks on my MG and found their service very good. Why not five stars?

In October I opted to include a "Platinum Wash" in my service. Everything was well-cleaned apart from the boot.

When I asked about this, I was told, "Included in a platinum is also the inside windows being cleaned, and the wheels plus a a more in depth vacuum than a basic complimentary." and "When you have a platinum wash it includes the inside of the vehicle but it does not include the boot. "

To my mind, "gold" let alone "platinum" suggests nothing is left out. And a Facebook comment about Birchwood seems to agree. "Pity your platinum wash isn't what it's made up to be."

Following the service I received an email invite to feeback about Birchwood via a third party website (Judge Service). When I followed the link, my anti-viral software warned me not to proceed. "Suspicious page blocked for your protection... Your connection to this web page is not safe due to an unmatching security certificate."

I sent Birchwood an email about the warning and had to prompt for a reply. What I got was, "As for the survey, I do not know who carries out the MG surveys for Birchwood as I know this is a new system and the manager is not in today to clarify."

That was on November 3rd and I am still waiting for a substantive reply.

So far I've had great customer service and I'm very happy that my new car offers great value for money

We recently had a great experience with Kia Washington! We were looking for a new car after a bad experience elsewhere. Matt our sales adviser was great, he was very knowledgeable and gave us all the information to make a decision on which level of the Sportage we wanted to go for. He wasn’t pushy at any point and was on hand to answer any questions. He was responsive to messages even outside of business hours. Matt even checked in after a few days to make sure everything was ok with the car. We are very impressed with the service and would recommend!

He answered all of our questions, gave us a thorough home demo when delivering the car, and make all communication and paperwork as easy as can be for a transaction of this magnitude. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matthew or Birchwood to anyone else who is seeking a new vehicle based on our experience.

Initial email response was prompt. Although we didn't book an appointment, we were shown a suitable Stonic and did a test drive there and then. We also did the part exchange deal. Put down a £500 deposit and arranged for a convenient hand over day and time. All went to plan.
