I travelled for Umrah from Dec 24-Dec 31, 2025.
I posted a review for the process of booking and how they had been constantly working with me in finding flights etc. I promised that I will post an update once I am done with the travel.

We bought our flights, hotels and tour guides from Bismillah Tours, the complete package. There are Sooooo many things that could have been done better:

Outbound flight:
Our connecting flight was from Doha. Doha airport is huge. At Doha airport our connection was less than an hour for Jeddah. . Travel agent knew that 2 out of party of 3 were seniors and they should have known better to give us a connecting flight with enough time to transfer. We literally had to kill ourselves to make it to the flight. It was our first time at Doha airport, had no idea how massive it is and how long will it take for transfer (Travel agents are supposed to be trained to arrange connecting flights with enough time, Bismillah Travels hopelessly failed at doing so and expected customers to know all these details)

Airport Pickup:
At final destination, a driver was expected to pick us up from Jeddah airport and take us to Makkah. We came out of baggage claim and no one was there for us. after a while we received a msg that the driver is somewhere outside the airport and we are supposed to find him (?????). There were so many drivers picking up other customers, with name cards in their hands. Bismillah Tours could have arranged the same for us But no. We had to go outside at a totally new airport, with our luggage, run here and there to find our vehicle. We were told NOTHING about sending our visa copies to the driver before getting in the car/ even before seeing the driver in person. Going from US to Saudi it was just natural to be alarmed on such a request from a ride driver (Not even the officials) that we have never met or talked to. It was extremely stressful, uncomfortable and scary. Bismillah Tours should have briefed us about the whole process, which they missed to do.

Hotel Check In:
On arriving at Makkah hotel we were told that there is no reservation under our names. Communication with hotel staff, in English, is already out of question and on top of it let them understand the situation was very stressful. It took a while to make saveral calls to Bismillah Tours in US and getting things done. Anyone can easily imagine the emotional toll on us of such a situation after such a long flight.

Next morning (Makkah Tour Day)
Our tour guide contacted us a night before and we agreed on meet up time and place. Next morning, we waited for the tour guide at agreed upon spot and time. No show. We were sending messages, no reply. After an hour delay he asked us about our pickup point (Which we already agreed upon last night) and acted as if it was a new information. After a long wait he came to completely opposite side of the area, asked us to come there (Mind you it involved 20 mins of brisk walk in an unknown direction) when we reached there, he asked us to come to another location (10 mins walk again) and asked us to look for him. All this time he was sitting in the car, refused to look for us and wanted us to find him. (Seriously ???? You are a local driver, we are brand new to the area, no one speaks our language, we can not even ask for directions). Once we found him, he had the audacity to tell us that after breakfast he overslept and his family had to wake him up (You do not set up alarm to be at work on time ????? This is your job man!!!!)
We were in Makkah for 3 days only and that time was very precious to us. If our tour guide had not wasted our time we could have been spending more time in haram, praying and making the most out of this once in the lifetime experience.

Inbound flight:
On our way back, we had the same connection in Doha. Based on our experience of connecting flight in Doha, we contacted Bismilla Tours, explained them everything and asked them to help. They asked us to call the airlines. We did. We were told that since we booked from travel agent , it is on their discretion to fix the problem. We explained the whole situation to Bismillsh Tours. We spent so much time talking to American Airlines and Qatar Airlines, both told us the same thing: Travel agents can fix it. We were calling Bismillah Tours back and forth with complete information that we got from both airlines. We even researched the documents with the information that says it can be fixed by the travel agency. Our flight was in less than 2 days, Bismillah Tours STOPPED responding.

All these mismanagements on part of Bismillah Travels took so much of our precious time out of this once in a lifetime spiritual experience. Which is financially expensive too. That is sad and I hope no one else suffers the same way. In our experience it seems like once you have made the payments to Bismillah Tours,you are on your own from onwards.

The whole ummra trip arrangements were top notch. Airport to hotel and other transfers were always on time and hotel check-ins were straight forward. All in all very professional arrangements. Mr. Hassnain Kiyani was always in touch with me throughout the trip to help with any issues that might arise.

I was assisted by hamza , he showed me great packages according to my budget and tried his best.

Assalamalaikum, this experience was smooth as ever and very thorough. My million questions were always answered no matter how late and the number of calls. The guide was also super helpful as it was my family’s first umrah. I booked with this agency after seeing good reviews, where do I begin….it was smooth sailing in the beginning lots of calls messages and etc.

5 days prior to our trip they informed us our flight has been canceled due to scheduling changes. That’s when you really start to see through all the lies. I had to call/text non stop their only response oh we are working on it don’t worry, don’t worry. 48 hours before our scheduled flight I decided to call the airline directly, came to find out the agent was notified 1 month prior of the change and no action was taken. No customer information was given to the airline so they can reach out to us or the agent. So I had to reschedule my flights directly only took 10 minutes. The airline was super apologetic and warned us of this agency.

The amount of anxiety and frustration was unbelievable and when I told the agency their only response was you didn’t miss your flight so why are we worried 🥴

They have no control on how to handle flight changes, Extremely careless and the hotels they provide is of lesser value then when you book directly. Due the mess they created I had to book extra hotel days, upend our work schedule and travel unprepared.The hotel also informed they purchase discounted rooms. The additional days I booked via Expedia was so much better for what I paid then had to downgrade to what this agency gave in the package. The rooms they provided was tiny so be aware.

None of their vendors spoke English and we had to constantly remind the vendors to coordinate our tours.

At the end it seemed like we are working for the agency to give ourselves service of what we paid for. We went to perform umrah for the first time so imagine the mountain of additional stress all of this caused.

I pray if anyone reads this to use common sense and go elsewhere. Honestly after our time in Saudi it’s super easy to book on your own and I’d highly recommend no booking via any agency its not worth it.

A COMPLETE AND UTTER DISASTER. STAY AWAY.

This company is an absolute disgrace and should not be trusted under any circumstances. What we experienced was not just poor service, it was chaos, deception, and complete neglect. I have never dealt with a company so incompetent, dishonest, and uncaring.
This booking was for a large family group and was extremely expensive, so we quite rightly expected a high standard of service. What we received instead was stress, confusion, and total disregard once they had taken our money. They were quick to collect payment and completely absent when it mattered.
They split our family across two different hotels without consent or explanation. We were meant to be together, yet they separated us and offered no communication or support. To make matters worse, we were booked for five nights in Medina, but they had only secured three nights. They refused to communicate with us until we were literally told at the hotel that we had to check out after the third night. Only then did they finally amend the booking. Being put in that position, especially with a large family, was unacceptable and deeply stressful.
Their dishonesty continued with luggage. We were misled into believing that additional luggage was included on the return journey, something that was clearly stated on their own paperwork. Upon arriving at the airport, we were then forced to pay for extra luggage ourselves. This was embarrassing, stressful, and entirely avoidable.
The transportation provided was appalling. The vehicles were in shocking condition, visibly unsafe, and falling apart. I was genuinely fearful for our safety, particularly with elderly family members travelling with us. The fact that these vehicles are operating at all is alarming.
Communication throughout was non existent. Staff could not communicate in English and provided no clear information, leaving us stranded and confused at multiple points. Once problems arose, we were completely abandoned. There was no accountability, no transparency, and no attempt to fix issues until we were already suffering the consequences.
This company ruined what should have been a meaningful and memorable journey. Their practices are unethical, their service is disgraceful, and their treatment of customers is unacceptable. I would never recommend them to anyone. If you value your money, your safety, or your peace of mind, do not book with this company. Stay away.

I had an excellent experience with Bismillah Tours during my trip to Mecca and Madina. From the very beginning, my travel agent, Noman Khan, walked me through all available package options in a clear and honest way, helping me choose the most suitable and affordable package without any pressure. He was extremely patient and accommodating with any changes I requested, which made the entire planning process stress-free.

The services provided were very easy to navigate, especially upon arrival. Transportation was well organized and easy to locate, which made a big difference after long flights. Everything felt coordinated and thoughtfully planned, so we never felt lost or unsure about what to do next.

The hotels booked were very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and their locations were incredibly convenient. Being close to Mecca, Madina, and other key locations made daily travel simple and saved a lot of time and energy. This added a great deal of comfort and allowed us to stay focused on the spiritual purpose of the trip.

What truly made this experience stand out was Noman Khan’s customer care throughout the entire journey. He consistently double-checked details, followed up regularly, and checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. That level of attentiveness and accountability is rare and clearly shows how seriously he takes his role and how well he represents Bismillah Tours as a company.

Overall, the experience was smooth, reliable, and well managed from start to finish. I would highly recommend Bismillah Tours, and especially Noman Khan, to anyone planning Umrah or travel to Mecca and Madina who values professionalism, clear communication, and genuine customer care.

I had an amazing experience with Bismillah tours throughout my travel. They made whole process so easy for me so I dint have to worry about booking and managing things and can just focus on Umrah. Hamza Anis specially was exceptional. He followed up with me pretty much every other day during my trip and addressed any concerns I had. The hotels, transport and airlines were given as promised and we were given complimentary breakfast not included in package as well. I loved their service and recommend it to anyone who is planning for Umrah and want things to be smooth.

If you’re reading this message I hope it is because you are considering Umrah or Hajj. Bi'ithnillah Ta'ala this is the 2nd trip to Makkah and Madinah the Bismillah Tours has coordinated for us. They are great BarakaAllahu Feekum, we had an amazing trip. May Allah accept our Umrah, our duas and our prayers and remove from us the stains that we’ve accumulated between the 1st and the 2nd pilgrimage.

I recommend using Bismillah because they are flexible and easy to communicate with. InshaAllah we will be going back every year.

This is especially true that Fatima Zahra has worked with me and my brother’s family for two years to help us perform Umrah. The first time it was three of us this time it was 7. InshaAllah Fatima will help more of our family visit to the holiest of cities.
