Lunch Pot Lid - poor Customer Service

Four month old lunch pot lid broke when undoing it. I threw the lid away but despite having my receipt and Customer Service accepting that this was not 'normal wear and tear' they wouldn't replace it because I didn't have a photo. I think that's pretty poor and I wouldn't recommend buying from them.

Vacuum flasks from Black and Blum

I have used the Black and Blum products and found them all to be fantastic , but the vacuum flasks , despite great appearance do not keep drinks hot for 6 hours as suggested .
Warm yes but not hot - a bit disappointing.

Please note that for best results, we recommend before use, to pre-fill the Thermo Flask with boiling hot water for about 3 minutes (please ensure you DO NOT overfill your flask).

Great service

Everything was nicely packed. The replacement lids are perfect, love the cookbook. New box appetite is superb, husband is very happy. Delivered very fast too. Thank you.

Disappointing customer service

Poorly designed dish rack fell over when loaded with glasses. Customer service refused to pay for shipping to return the item which does not work as advertised. Very disappointed.

Good overall

Easy to order, great delivery communication (was told the time within an hour of when it would turn up). The packaging seemed great but the charcoal that you put in the bottle was broken. Not a very big deal but I thought I would e-mail to see if I could get a replacement. Haven't heard back yet which I understand as I assume staff have been on holiday but I would suggest not sending quite so many automated e-mails to those who have signed up to the mailing list (drawn in by the 10% discount) especially over the holiday period when other e-mails are not being sent. Many thanks for the otherwise great experience.

Closed for Christmas!

I ordered a loop candle set before Christmas, received confirmation by email of my order and the website stated next day delivery. Obviously I wasn't expecting them to be delivered prior to Christmas although I ordered them on the 21st Dec. However I have not had my delivery. No correspondence as to when my delivery should arrive or even if it has been dispatched! The office / warehouse is closed until 3rd jan! Yet I am receiving discount emails and emails for feedback. Quite frankly I'm disappointed! I wanted this set for a 50th birthday for a work colleague for the 3rd Jan. Clearly they are not going to arrive! If a date of delivery had of been given at point of ordering I would never have ordered them! Yet you have my money and I have no product! I have a set of loop candle holders myself hence my interest, however the customer service is shocking!

Unfortunately due to the Christmas holiday we were unable to guarantee a delivery time which we specified on the main page of our website and at the checkout.

• UK – standard service order before noon on 16th December* / next day delivery order before noon on 20th December*

*shipping times are dependent on the carrier

According to your order details your order was not on a next day delivery service and due to a large volume of orders we have been unable to ship your order prior to our warehouse closure.

Even though they had to ship the candles separately from the candelabra, both arrived promptly, well packaged, and I believe the candelabra set will make a great Christmas present!

Pleased

The item arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. The only down side is that the packaging is not as luxury as their description claimed, but there is nothing wrong with it and it is functional.
Overall a good product, easy to order, good delivery, and an excellent price.

Long time to dispatch and lack of communication about this

Placed an order and received confirmation by email - all good. Then heard nothing for over a week and no parcel arrived, I had to phone them and chase up the order. They did immediately dispatch after I phoned but the lady I spoke to wasn't apologetic and I got the impression that if I hadn't phoned I still wouldn't have my purchase.

Unfortunately we have had an issue in our system that couldn't be spotted earlier for a few orders and that is the reason why we haven't been able to inform you before. Black & Blum my go to, every time.

I emailed black and Blum in regards to replacement spoon for my thermo pot. The response I got was personable helpful and quick. As a direct result of that email I ordered more than I had originally intended. Every product I received is high-quality and beautiful and functional. I also love the lunch recipe book. It's a great touch and so thoughtful. If I'm looking for anything online I checked Black and Blum first. Best online shopping experience ever!
