Bleu de Chauffe est une marque française qui réalise des sacs et des accessoires de maroquinerie. Ses créations s'inspirent de l'univers artisanal et industriel du 20ème siècle. Les produits Bleu de Chauffe sont fabriqués exclusivement en France dans ses ateliers situés dans l’Aveyron, au pied du viaduc de Millau. Ses sacs sont réalisés de manière traditionnelle par des artisans qualifiés. Les cuirs sont tannés de manière végétale - avec de l’acacia, du mimosa, du châtaignier – ce qui implique la sélection d'un cuir de choix.

ça fait maintenant plus de 2 ans que j'ai 2 t shirt de la marque, rien à dire si ce n'est qu'ils sont excellents ! le vêtement ne bouge pas dans le temps, la couleur reste la même, c'est solide. La coupe est parfaite et le tissu respire la qualité

This is my second time ordering from BdC, this time going for the Missak aviator for a lighter canvas alternative to the leather Zoom which I have been using for the past 2 years. The quality of both products are impeccable, and hold up extremely well to normal wear and tear with little to no signs of use. The delivery was also extremely quick - 2 business days from France to the UK even with the customization option!
Honestly could not recommend this brand enough, and will definitely be reordering again as new models are released.

I bought a rucksack from Bleu de Chauffe and it arrived with a manufacturing defect, which the company has acknowledged. I don’t want a brand-new bag to be repaired, especially since waxed canvas never looks the same after a repair. Quality control should prevent issues like this before shipping.
Because I’m outside the EU, I also had to pay significant import duties—30% of the purchasing price!—, which complicates the situation. I’m currently waiting for a fair solution from Bleu de Chauffe and will update this review once the matter is resolved.
+++ So another support of Bleu de Chauffe said it's not a manufacturing defect, but a simple oversight by the workshop. They offered a refund, but not for the substantial import tax. Then they offered a discount, which I accepted – only to receive a discount for a further purchase. Upon insisting to get a discount on the product in question, Bleu de Chauffe reacted quickly, finally.
Don't know if it's the French attitude or if I should simply accept a finishing similar to a product ordered in China, I thought I paid a premium price for a premium product. Took some effort and can live with the result.

Great company and service. Sandra was very helpful in sorting out a repair for my leather bag. The customer service was excellent they sorted it quickly and effectively. The leather quality is the best I’ve seen great company and great service.
Mon sac est arrivé, en temps et heure, dans un emballage qui le protégeait à la perfection.
Mon sac est très beau. Le cuir semble être d’une grande qualité. Je crains juste un peu l’imperméabilisation en cas de pluie…
Je ne regrette pas l’argent dépensé, une somme assez conséquente pour ce sac. Mais cela vaut le coup, à mon avis.
J’avoue aussi avoir été sensible aux valeurs défendues par l’entreprise concernant ses employés et ses produits.
À ce titre, je voudrais remercier, tout particulièrement, Melany, qui a réalisé mon sac ! Grand merci à vous, Melany ! Je promets d’en prendre soin et j’espère qu’il me fera un usage très long !
Cabas idéal pour faire le marché du jour, ce qui va m'arriver beaucoup plus souvent bientôt...Les anses en cuir sont crémées régulièrement...splendide !

Beau pull très lourd et confortable. Attention à la taille : sur le site, le modèle porte une taille medium pour 1,82m pour 76kg. Faisant 1,78m pour 70kg, j'ai pris un médium : beaucoup trop étroit. Renvoyé pour un taille L et là, ça va.

Mauvais choix commercial. Sur place à Millau là même où il y a la fabrique et il est impossible de voir, toucher les produits. Uniquement de la vente impersonnelle sur internet ou dans d'éparses boutiques plus ou moins achalandées à travers la France.
Bref mieux vaut se tourner vers le sac du berger où on peut vraiment avoir du contact, des conseils et toucher les produits avant achat.
Mauvaise politique commerciale bleu de chauffe...

Commande et livraison ultra rapide !
Le sac est parfait ! Son odeur, son toucher, sa couleur. Il est devenu immédiatement un compagnon d'écriture et de déplacement. À chaque pas, un peu d'Héloïse m'accompagne. Merci à son art, au vôtre !

Awful customer service
Brought a bag which is expensive, was not made aware of customs fee
Paid fee and bag never arrived, was returned back to France. So out of pocket £70 with no bag
My biggest issue was the lack of compassion from the owner of company she appeared via email not to care and was not solution focused. In all the years I have purchased items online, this is hands down the worst service ever

Awful customer service, scam for additional money at delivery with no notice.
I live in the UK - nowhere did they mention I would have to pay an additional 70 GBP customs fee (on an already extremely expensive bag), AND collect from the Royal Mail in Acton, a 2-hour drive from my home. I could not speak with anyone other than their AI chatbox customer service. I would never order again, and advise NO ONE ELSE DO.
