Book Bolt is a great basic foundation platform to create interiors and book covers. You are able to use free stock images and resize them, with one click of the button. It automatically sizes up covers dimensions to your interior pages of your book. It has great software to create wordsearches etc.
The bad bits:
There is a limited help guide. You need to watch Youtubers who create books to do the basic. Its not like excel or word. You need to convert most of your outside interior pages onto PDF. But this is just like a screen shot of each page. Please SAVE each page or it loses it. The fonts are not in any category. Use CANVA to create the FONT etc then convert it to Book Bolt.
Summary:
Its not perfect but it gives you the basic platform to create interiors and does what it says on the tin....mostly. Used it for over a year and I would recommend BOOK BOLT.

Having explored the water so to speak, I signed up for Bookbolt a little over a year ago and I honestly have to say that I'm delighted with what I have achieved so far. I am producing, on average, one mid-content book a month and they are selling well. Much better than I expected. The research facilities and support I have access to are second to none and the studio is an easy creative space to work in. If I have a problem which I can't solve by myself I can get help quickly, easily (and with kindness) by submitting a ticket or via the facebook group. OK, so it's not a get rich quick scheme! Sadly, as with most things in life, what you get out depends on what you put in. I spend a lot of time researching, then I spend more time researching then i go back and do a little more research. Then I may produce a book. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else!

BookBolt offers manuscript sizes that align with KDP rules. It's a great platform for puzzle generation too. They are open to upgrading and advancing their tools and communicate well with their subscribers. They are open to suggestions for improvement and they work on advancing the tools. They are getting better all the time. They are user friendly and the puzzle generators have improved quite a bit over the years and they also have a chats and tutorials. It's well worth the subscription.

As a non-technical person I found courage and confidence with Book Bolt ever since I started my KDP publishing for the past 3 years. Their app is user friendly, designed to guide beginners like me from the very beginning. I strongly recommend Book Bolt to everyone interested in book publishing.

I find this platform very useful for creating kdp books. Bookbolt has figured out all the rules and formatting and all I have to do is provide the content.

I am less than a year into my book publishing adventure. I feel lucky that I found Book Bolt in the beginning! It it so easy to create book covers and activity/puzzle books! I have even started creating my children's story books using this platform. The only downside is that I can't figure how to format for e-books using BB. However, since my mission is to get kids away from screens and to put physical books back into the hands of children, I'm not overly concerned about not being able to download e-books straight to Kindle Create. I love Book Bolt!

I've been using Book Bolt for several years now and it's absolutely invaluable to me. As an 'ADHDer' I get distracted easily by bright, shiny, things and every time I've 'cheated' on Book Bolt I've taken no time to come back again. I don't use any other platform to layout my book covers and they're always the perfect size. There are lots of tutorials and training calls to get the most out of BB too. Definitely a 5* experience.

I have loved being able to create low and medium content books to sell. I love all the additional tools as well like keyword search and category search plus the weekly training is invaluable. I’ve created over 15 books so far.

Money well spent, AND…bookbolt is designed specifically to work with amazon KDP. It takes the hassle and confusion away from those of us who have no idea how to write a book!
