My experience was nearly perfect. Folks were kind and very helpful with the process. Questions were answered almost immediately by Jennifer and Sebastian with wonderful communication. I would have loved to give them an 4.6 overall review. Only negative was attention to detail when it came to some of the smaller corrections on illustrations. Overall my first experience with publishing my first children’s book was a positive one.

Marketeers made the publishing process simple, painless, and easy. Jennifer and Sebastian were always prompt in replying to emails and were always available by phone. The team was always available and able to answer my questions. The copy editing of the book was a big help. Mark was a big help in getting the book set up on Amazon.

Bookmarketeers made it so easy to help me publish my first Children’s book. I tried to find other companies to help me but couldn’t find any site that had “real” people to talk to. I’m a writer, not a computer whiz. So that human voice like Jennifer and Sabastian, at Bookmarketeers made the process uncomplicated. They will steal your money. Will not deliver the services you pay for and stop answering your emails. They will change project management over and over in order to avoid offering the services you paid for on time and simply ignore your requests. Very disappointed with them as you can tell.

What made my experience great was the staffing of: David Alonzo, Marc Spector, Richard Brown, and Chloe Cooper. This isn't my first rodeo ride with Book Marketeers-they published my first novel, Pieces. When I went back for my second novel to be published, not only did they help me, but kept in touch with my progress, especially on my third novel. I highly recommend that if you're a new author, consider this wonderful place. I plan to stay here for all of my novels. Oh, and by the way, my first novel won and placed as a finalist in six book writing contests, thanks to this wonderful publishing house!

I’m writing this as a caution to anyone publishing their first book through Book Marketeers or similar agencies. My biggest piece of advice? Hold off on leaving a review until at least six months after your book is published.

I made the mistake of leaving a very positive review early in the process, when everything felt exciting and promising. At that point, Daniel had been helpful, and things seemed to be moving smoothly. But I didn’t know what was coming next—and that’s exactly the problem. You're encouraged to post a glowing review while you're still in the early stages, before you've seen any real results. I left mine unknowingly, and I’m now in the process of trying to remove it.

After my book was published, things took a turn. I began receiving multiple “opportunities”—claims that bookstores were interested in stocking my book or that there were media interviews available. But every one of these came with a catch: I had to pay. Whether it was funding my own book purchases or covering fees for exposure, it all added up—and led nowhere.

It felt like I was constantly being asked to spend more, with little to no return. I realized I was paying for the illusion of success, not results. In the end, I felt misled and disappointed. I was sold a dream that didn’t deliver.

Jennifer Bloom was the project manager for my first book publishing experience and she was professional and polite. For a first timer, the process was a little bit intimidating. And, I did have many anxious moments as we exchanged messages through several revisions. Jennifer patiently guided me to the finish. This may not be the best route for more experienced writers but it worked for me.

Stella Quinn has been coordinating my current project with Bookmarketeers. Bookmarketeers is writing a screen play from one of my books. I am impressed with Stella Quinn's professional communication.
