Today I went to the Colne boundary mill. I was looking for a specific Duvet and certain specifications. There was nothing out on the shop floor. I asked an extremely helpful lady called Diane from the Julian Charles department. She went down to the store room and came back with exactly what I wanted.
She definitely is a credit to the company and extremely helpful and polite. Just wanted to say thank you Diane we purchased the duvet we had been looking for.

Went to Boundary Mill In Grantham it was lovely. Went recently and managed to take advantage of the prosecco for myself and a friend plus free nibbles from 3pm till 5pm. It was great. Very efficient and pleasant. Also went in June 2025 for another prosecco freebie which was also lovely . Only thing that slightly spoilt the June 2025 experience was a member of staff was hoovering right near me and others eating and drinking, which was a bit unpleasant / uncomfortable seeing and hearing the hoover . Other than that it was great

I have shopped in boundary mills for years buying lots of different items and today I wanted to return a faulty item with a valid receipt and staff obviously need some training as I was asked where the tags were from the item and I explained its a faulty item so therefore no tags were needed. Come on get your act together

Went to boundary mill Colne 15.5.26. Around Sept. last year we had ordered some wine glasses the assistant said they would contact us when they arrived and put the details in the order book. We live quite a distance away and due to a number of factors ( ill health, holidays, family matters) we only managed to go to the store today. When I asked about the wine glasses the assistant -whose customer services skills left much to be desired- (raised voice, angry eyes) at first didn’t seem to understand what I was talking about completely misunderstanding my enquiry, told me they would not have kept the order book for last year. She insisted on bringing a customer services man to ‘ deal’ with me and he reiterated what she had said. I spoke to him about her aggressive attitude but got no response. I had also thought we had paid for the wine glasses but realised this was not the case and acknowledged this. So if you order anything from Boundary Mill and no one contacts you within a reasonable period to say they can’t get the goods it would seem it is your fault and you deserve a ticking off after driving a long way to find out what’s going on. No apology, and clearly the customer is nothing but a nuisance. Won’t be going again!!

In the Grantham shop in the men's department we had exceptional help from Jo.
She advised and brought different sizes of suit for my husband. Nothing was too much trouble.
She also advised us on loading the app and using it.
5* help. Thankyou Jo.

Unhelpful and quite rude treatment when returning a faulty item. Lengthy time waiting whilst staff condescending. Made to feel embarrassed and stressed. I member of staff a senior lady named Lyn was completely different and sorted the problem with professionalism and complete courtesy. She was brilliant 👏 younger staff need more training unfortunately. I was quite ill after leaving the store and will not be shopping there again.

Often visit boundary mills in had a bad dizzy spell at the check out staff were extremely helpful thank you for all your help
Definitely worth a visit to a large department store all on one level.

Visited the Shiremoor store.
The store is nicely spaced out with a good choice of products.
The toilet facilities are immaculate.
The cafe is clean, pleasant and spacious.
Overall it's a very nice store to visit and has good parking facilities.

Extremely poor experience at Boundary Outlet Walsall (18 March 2026, ~10pm).

A simple return of faulty items became unnecessarily difficult due to dismissive, unhelpful staff who lacked basic professionalism. I was ignored, spoken over, and even called “rude” by an employee.

Staff misrepresented faults I had clearly shown, delayed the process, and made no effort to assist. The overall handling was chaotic and uncomfortable.

The situation caused significant stress and anxiety, which is completely unacceptable for a retail environment.

While the manager later admitted the service fell below standard, no meaningful accountability or resolution was offered.

Very disappointing — serious improvements needed.

Traveled 30 miles each way to this place. Leaflet said had Jaeger and Whistles brands, but it did not. What a waste of time and petrol. Plus advertises 3 restaurants, but only has one. The others are a chippy at the end of car park and ice cream "restaurant' is a hut outside door. Had food here, jacket potatoe and chilli. Which was tasteless and raw in middle. Avoid, unless you want the cheap tacky brands it stocks.

Appalling customer service. Tried to buy 2 items which were both labelled as ‘2 for £20’, but the cashier rang them up at full price and would not honour the discount. Tried to tell me that the offer didn’t apply (it did) and basically shrugged her shoulders. Walked away without the items - it’s not the cost, it’s the principle.

Bought pair of Skopes trousers at Sheffield. Identical trousers other than waist size were on the same rack, but at 3 different prices! Largest waist size at lowest price £52, smaller waist size £62, smallest waist size £65!Complained to Manager who said “there must have been some mistake” He agreed to sell us the smallest waist size for £52, potentially saving us £13. We think this is a deliberate rip-off

Placed an order with pavers shoes, to be collected at the boundary mill store in walsall. 2 items were ordered on the same day... ( 1st jan 2026) I received an email on the 5th jan, to say 1 of the items had been delivered to store. Thought i might as well wait till the other order comes in before collecting... Phoned boundary mills on 6th jan, as i knew both items were despatched same day... Was told by a member of staff, " not come in yet, could be 7 days.." (pavers website says 2-4 days) Told this to the member of staff... was told - " could be the weather"... so left it there.
Next day rang up pavers helpline,who told me both orders had been delivered to store, and she contacted boundary mills walsall , less than 30 mins later, i had a email to say order was ready for collection... One thing i do not like is people lying to me.... Both these orders had been there since monday.... 2 wasted days waiting..... boundary mills walsall, you have lost my business....

I always enjoy a visit here, we visited on Boxing Day and thankfully not too busy, I got a few items in the sale, there could have being more staff on the checkouts though, 10 mins wait and 2 staff serving.
We always visit the cafe for food which is always nice and the toilets are plentiful and clean.
There is lots of disabled parking but can still get very busy.
I will back (Colne) before my holidays.

Another awful trip to boundary mill walsall awful customer service staff standing around gossiping with eachother instead of helping customers arrogant behaviour from staff so rude towards customers and some on their personal phones doing NOTHING absolutely shocking gone downhill it’s not what it used to be!

Why do they not have more staff at the checkouts , 15 min wait and only 3/4 tolls working , really poor as lots of staff in store doing nothing

Terrible place the clothes are supposedly designer brands but no one seems to have heard of them. We went in the restaurant had a Scone which was like a cricket ball and was served with all the panache of British Rail. Definitely won't ever go back.

Awful customer service mom purchased a pair of pyjamas and they were odd sizes although hung and secured together. She is disabled aged 86 and they expected her to go back to Walsall from Cannock to return them for a refund. Appalling customer service way below expectations and entirely the fault of the store. Would never use again

Visited the boundary Mill store at Grantham. What a disappointment. They have lost a lot of their former suppliers e.g Phase Eight, Kaliko, Hobbs etc. now the ground floor is mainly menswear. Will not go there again.

Walsall store: plenty of free parking, great layout of good value clothes and homeware, Store clean, light and welcoming. Staff very helpful.
Growing queue at pay desk with only two assistants but on asking if more staff were able to help, the situation was quickly rectified.
A particular thank you to Debbie in the shoe department. Her persistence and knowledge of the stock available, helped find exactly what I was looking for. I observed her helping others in the same way. Thank you.
