Bad experience from Bowers & Wilkins…
Expected better from Bowers & Wilkins given the premium pricing. The headphone buttons started malfunctioning fairly quickly, which is unacceptable at this level.
The bigger issue was support—the process dragged on for nearly two months with repeated follow-ups, only to have the warranty claim denied with a generic “wear and tear” response.
Good sound quality, but poor durability and disappointing after-sales service. At this price point, this experience falls short.
B&W pi5 s2 in ear
Har købt et par B&W pi5 s2 in ear i håbet om at det var et lækkert produkt, det er da det været l.... jeg længe har købt, lyden hakker ved afspilning, det er ikke særligt højt, og prikken over i'et må være at deres app er total ubrugelig.
Zeppelin connectivity with BT router.
I have a slightly old Zeppelin (8years), and for a long time I have had problems connecting it to my Network. I decided to phone B&W just before Christmas and I got through to Matt.
What a nice guy! He knew exactly what the problem was, and sent a good deal of his time talking me through it all (turned out to be a setting on my BT router that needed changing), which has cured the problem. Thank you Matt, whatever they are paying you isn't enough!
I can highly recommend B&W support.
Pi5 S2
Christmas gift for my son. PI5 s2 earbuds. They are not compatible with Android 16 and above. They require an older phone to update. We spent 2h on trying, and the update still failed. Company should attached note that the headphones only work with older phones, although in my case,even an older phone didn't change anything. I send them back to the store. I should read opinions here, not journalists on online portals.

Spent more than $5000 on B&W Formation…
Spent more than $5000 on B&W Formation wireless speakers. When they work they sound amazing. Work about 50% of the time, connection issues, app issues. Customer service is terrible, I couldn't find my receipt so they wouldn't honor their warranty, sent a $1200 speaker to their repair facility (someone they contract with) paid $250 and got the speaker back in worse condition than I sent it. Now I'm having problems with the other speakers and customer service is no help at all. These speakers have been nothing short of frustrating since I bought them 5 years ago.

Bowers and Wilkins is owned by Masimo Consumer. They buy premium brands and provide customer service that is far less that that of generic products. They charge exorbitantly expensive prices like $800 for a pair of wireless headphones (PX8). Save your hard earned money and deal with a real brand. You can get far more for far less money!!!! You have been warned ⚠️
Very poor support for a defective…
Very poor support for a defective product, which made it impossible to have a pair of B&W px8 headphones repaired/replaced after their quickly fell apart. I have bought around 5 pairs of B&Ws over the years, but no more.
PX 8 headphones, microphonic.
I have a pair of their 805s, which are just brilliant, and just bought a set of PX 8 headphones, they sound great but, and it’s a big butt, they are so microphonic, so if you’re outside and there’s a bit of wind or you touch them or a connected cable you get a thump, not brilliant.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Refused to honor my warranty for my Pi8 earphones which had connectivity issues 3-4 months after the purchase. They insisted I paid $100++ for a replacement product/repair, and took so long to respond to emails despite their promise of replying in “1-2 business days”. Customer chat agent also frequently ends the conversation abruptly when I ask them about a follow up to my case (3-4x which means not a coincidence)
We purchased headphones through an audio dealer
We purchased B and W headphones through an audio installer and after 1 year it stopped charging. Dozens of calls/emails to their customer service that involved trouble shooting, serial numbers, locating invoices, taking videos of it not charging, paying for the return, giving them the tracking number, waiting 14 business days for verification and then them sending the headphones to the wrong person. Horrible company who clearly doesn't stand behind their products and clearly creates roadblocks that the customers have to go through to return their defective product. Avoid at all costs
Totally useless app
Purchased a Zeppelin pro speaker which is great But the app is totally utterly useless. Can't find the speaker half the time ( no spaces found ie. No speaker) even when it's playing via WiFi so you can't change the music but have to reinstall the app. Pathetic from a high end product.
Never order from them directly
So far, and if I’m allowed to leave a customer care I will, this is the worst company to handle a delivery. I’ve been given zero help to get my delivery. I know the units are good. But don’t deal with them directly…. Use a third party that guarantees delivery or a refund. I’m still waiting for my $800 headphones. Each day I get it’s on a truck with FedEx on its way, and the company can’t fix the delivery address that they got wrong. I missed a present for a birthday an ended up buying apple ones that day. This is the worst customer service for a good brand. Never order directly.
If they send a bs response, I’d be happy to send screen shots of what I’ve dealt with up to today.

Sorry vorab, daß diese Bewertung nur rein Subjektiv ist, natürlich kann ich die Produktpalette des Unternehmens nicht komplett bewerten..jedoch den aktuell hoch gelobten BT Kopfhörers PX7 S2..und ich meine da hilft auch kein "S" hinter dem, was hier hören mußte!
Für ActionTV oder Gaming möglicherweise ausreichend, aber für ernsthaften Musikanspruch bei Jazz, Blues oder Klassik vollkommen Mangelhaft! Hier wird man durch den viel zu lauten und unpräziesen Bass nur zugedröhnt...
Ich hatte mir dieses Produkt Aufgrund der Testbewertungen im Net gekauft, da ich der Meinung war, mein HD660 zeigt nach 20 Jahren langsam Schwächen ...dem ist nicht so!!
Danke B&W für dieses Erfahrung, denn auch schon für unter 100€ wird man sicher viel vergleichbaren Müll im WWW finden.
They have work to do
I bought their Px8 headphones (700$).
Headphones had issues that indicate poor QA on app/driver side (some got fixed). Eventually they developed cosmetic damage (leather came apart where it's glued) and replacement took almost 4 months with basically no communication coming from Bowers & Wilkins.
WARRANTY (The longer story)
I contacted Bowers & Wilkins to see how to file a warranty claim. I got an automated response and didn't hear back from them until I emailed again about a week later. They suggested going through the retailer that sold them.
I just that. Retailer responded the same day and provided a shipping label the next day. About a month from the time retailer received the headphones I requested an update from the retailer. They were waiting too, so they requested an update from B&W in turn and heard back that it would take another 2 months to get a replacement. In reality it was closer to 3.
Retailer was great, B&W could have made an effort to communicate the long waiting time.
I'm happy that I got a replacement pair, but the retailer's support quality is the only reason this isn't a 2/5.
You haven’t even managed to complete…
You haven’t even managed to complete this simple task. Do I really need to explain that your direct job is to make this process as simple as possible, instead of making your users struggle? Now I have an overpriced, useless pair of headphones and an iPhone, and the headphones are unable to pair with it even after dozens of attempts. The app is absolutely useless too.
Faulty PX8 (Like everyone else)
Faulty PX8 headband (Like infinite others). B&W refused to honour the warranty and I had to email them several times across the coming weeks frequently, just to get a reply to anything. For a mid to hi-end audio company I was genuinely blown away by how bad their customer service is. Will never buy from them again.

If you’ve purchased a product, which will have been sold as premium with a premium price tag, you are likely to suffer impotent help and support when it breaks for no apparent reason. You will also find it impossible to locate a destination or procedure to achieve repair/replacement. Save yourself the stress and buy a different brand from a local store so you have greater comeback.
Bought a pair of headphones from B&W…
Bought a pair of headphones from B&W via Selfridges for circa £600. Stuffing came out of headband after a few months. Sent back to Bowers per Selfridges terms and conditions for an inspection on 4 October. I have heard nothing since. According to Selfridges there is no update from Bowers. They appear to be simply ignoring them. I would be careful before buying
