UPDATE August 10,2026: I am adjusting my rating for Bright Footwear. I am still frustrated with the lack of transparency on shipping origin (China). I can say they emailed responses to my inquiries quickly. They eventually opened an investigation into my order and confirmed the package was lost in shipping. They refunded me in full quickly, with no problems. Because of their communication responses, I would like to order from them again, but don’t feel I can trust the shipping process.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. It has been a month since I ordered and no shoes. Communication from the company says they can’t control the customs process (tracking is at 3 weeks so far in customs). That was the first time I realized they shipped from China. I would never have ordered had I realized this from the beginning. I’m giving it one more week and then requesting a chargeback on my credit card.

The shoes were too small but I ordered based on their recommendations. The response time by email was good. Costs too much to return to China and they charge a lot to ship replacements.

Before purchasing be sure you don't want a full refund if you may need to return the shoes.

To get your refund you will need to ship the shoes to the company's warehouse in China and not the US location they shipped it from to you. You're responsible for custom duties, international shipping fees, taxes and fees that will be incurred.

So far I have had many email conversations with the people at Bright Footwear, none have been productive. The shoes were delivered, to where no one knows. Bright Footwear tells me to get a “Lost Claim Certificate” from the Post Office, they tell me there is no such form.
So I paid for shoes I didn’t receive. They say they need a form that doesn’t exist. Any ideas of what I should do?

These shoes are nothing but glorified water shoes. The shoe does not give your toe enough room to spread out and feel the ground. When I opened my package I knew I was going to return them right away. Only to find out they're in China and you have to pay the return shipping fee and you have to do it within 14 days. The return shipping fee to China is way more than what you pay for the shoes. Stay away from these shoes and this company.

This company is on the edge of being a scam. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of insoles. it took 3 weeks to receive the shoes, and I still haven't received the insoles, because they don't make this clear-they ship from China. Also, after a back and forth with their customer service, they have apparently blocked me from leaving a review on their website. By the way-they pay customers for reviews! So, any review with a photo-the reviewer got a refund on their purchase. They are not legit reviews. I will not purchase again-the shoes were too narrow to be true barefoot shoes anyway-and the insoles...how would I know, they haven't arrived yet.

Delivering the product would be a good start. I have been waiting a month. They are less than truthful too. They said the items were in stock. Then they shipped them out, but they are now stuck in another warehouse because of customs. The timeline does not make sense.

This company is a ripoff. They say 'free exchanges' but what they don't tell you is it's not free at all. It will cost you at least $40 to do a simple exchange. Also it took me a month to get them because I didn't know they were coming from China. Don't buy from them.

The shipment took three weeks. No tracking number was provided. No status updates during the three weeks. Return policy is terrible. All shipping costs including printing the return label are the customer’s responsibility. Customer service when you call is despicable. I will never again fall for the trap of buy one pair get one free. It’s not worth it. Much better shoes and experience elsewhere.

First time trying zero heel grounding shoes. Took a few days to get used to them. I am a nurse and have worn them everyday at work. Had a bit of shin muscle pain the first week. On week 4 and my knees and hips feel better and I love them and wear them everywhere!

Seriously, I did my homework reading reviews about Bright footwear shoes. I think my honest review is not the norm because the company incentivizes writing reviews and doing unboxing videos. Here's the 2 main issues I had: 1. These shoes are basically old-school lake water socks. You know, the walmart kind. Slip into a pair and you will see zero difference between these higher priced $10 lake shoes. 2. Dishonest practices when purchasing. I bought 1 pair and paid for 1 pair. Later that day I was charged for a 2nd pair and shipped 2 pairs. The same thing happened to my sister who lives in another state. Luckily, I had the email confirmation that I had only purchased the 1 pair. Although I did get a partial refund, the company response did not inspire trust or confidence. My sister ordered after me and same happened to her.

Never got my shoes! An empty package was delivered to me about 1 month after the the estimated date.
I'll write another review after I get my refund.

I ordered two pairs of shoes and they arrived in a decent time frame. The real positive experience I had, was conversing with customer service about a damaged item on one of the shoes.
I think it's a great business model to ask your customers to provide proof of damages so that they can best assist with issues. The way the entire process was handled was very professional and polite.
I would definitely purchase products from this company again!

Very comfortable and lightweight. I wear them everyday for work. I wear them biking and hiking also. I bought 4 pairs and am very happy with my purchase.

These barefoot shoes are amazing. So comfortable from the moment I put them on. I normally wear a size 10 and while only size 10.5 was available, they fit fine. I'm so happy with these shoes I've gone back and bought another pair (different style) and am considering the hiking style. I am now wearing these shoes all the time, except when I have to be more dressy. Very happy with the quality of the shoes as well. And customer service was very responsive to my email, as delivery isn't overnight. But definitely worth the wait of about two weeks.

Very good. Very good service. Very satisfied with the shoe I honestly didn't expect it to be my favorite barefoot shoe for the price. Absolutely wonderful.

Pros: Excellent fit over the arch and heel; comfortable for daily wear.
Cons: Toe box is on the wider side.
Review: I wear these daily and love how they lock in my heel and arch. However, the toe box feels a bit too sloppy for me. I wore narrow shoes for years, it feels like I could use a narrow width option for a perfect fit.

The shoes are great. I am very comfortable in them and can already notice a difference. My only complaint would be that it took almost 3 weeks to get them.

I ordered a pair of men’s 13 shoes that were to take 5-10 days to deliver. They took 16 days and they sent me a women’s 6. I tried to exchange them 33 days after i bought them, and they refused because of the 30 day policy, not giving a single consideration to the delay in shipping or the fact that they sent me the wrong shoe. I would advise looking to any of the several other barefoot shoe companies out there.

Fit great. True to size. Very comfy. Feet muscles feel stronger already after 4 fab days of walking the city!
