Extremely disappointing
Extremely disappointing experience with CannonKeys.
The most frustrating part isn't even the defective product—it's how the entire situation was handled afterward. I spent months waiting for the board, then more time waiting for fixes, then more time waiting for responses, only to be offered a return and refund as the final solution. After all the time already wasted, asking a customer to package everything up and start the process over feels like adding insult to injury.
The company says this isn't the experience they want customers to have, but at some point words stop mattering when the outcome never changes. Customer support may be apologetic, but they're left dealing with the consequences of failures that appear to originate elsewhere in the company.
This experience has completely shaken my confidence in CannonKeys' quality control. If products can arrive with significant issues and the resolution process drags on for months, what exactly are customers paying for? Quality control is supposed to catch these problems before products reach customers, not after.
What concerns me most is the apparent lack of accountability. Instead of receiving a meaningful resolution, I was left feeling like my time had no value. For a company operating in a premium enthusiast market, that's unacceptable.
Potential customers should seriously consider whether they're comfortable taking that risk. Based on my experience, I can't recommend CannonKeys, and I certainly won't be purchasing from them again.
UPDATE: They're sending me a replacement.
