This place sucks. Products are NOT properly represented on the site. And good luck filing for a return – even when you meet all the requirements, customer service tries to run out the 30-day clock and give you the run around, never giving you details for shipping back the order.

HORRIFYING HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE….I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY(I USE THAT LOOSELY) ——100 STAR RATING…..DO NOT DO NOT USE THEM THEY TOOK MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND CHEATED ME OUT OF MY PRODUCT….I ordered 2 sets of front and back for my son and grandson in mid November 2023. It was for a Volkswagen and a Subaru. I was very excited to give them these unique gifts. First they took a very long time to get to me. I live in Canada, so of course the price in Canadian dollars was quite high. Second they came and with excitement they opened them Christmas morning to find out neither set fit. I immediately emailed the company on Dec 25/23 to start the refund process. Received an email few days later that they’re really busy and it may take awhile for them to get back to me. After many email exchanges from me and them replying with the exact same email every time, when they felt it was time to acknowledge me as a customer. The last email correspondence from them was to, send them back to china at my expense, maybe they would send a partial refund if their inspection didn’t find damage. And then upon not getting a refund from them they would not tell me if i would get my purchased item back, that was paid for in good faith and was quite expensive. This has been the MOST COSTLY and HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE I have ever had. It is very sad when a Mother/Grandmother is cheated this bad. The following is an email i sent them and they same 6 or so emails from them were all duplicates from the first emails.

Thank you for the DELAYED response to my concerns. I am very disappointed in every aspect of this process. I was so very excited to give these extraordinary Christmas gifts to my son and grandson. Something that was unique to each of them. Can you imagine the disappointment to them as well as myself when they didn’t fit either vehicle. On the order site it DID NOT specify a certain make or model of Volkswagen or Subaru. It is very vague on description. I contacted this company immediately after Christmas of this situation and then for it to take a month to come to a resolution that is not fair to me. Do you have any idea how much it costs me as a customer to send these back to China with NO guarantee that my situation will have a happy ending. How do I know they will not be damaged in transit? How do I know when you receive them that they will be denied as some error that will jeopardize my refund? I won’t have the product I paid for!! When you deny my refund are you sending them back to me? Shipping at your expense? What type of guarantee do I have that they won’t be damaged in return? Lots of unanswered questions that as a customer of yours I am so very disappointed in this whole experience. I spent a lot of hard earned money believing in good faith that this company was reputable, to give these gifts and I have no recourse but to review this company from what has happened. Please be advised that I will be reviewing my whole story on Google. Within 7 days. As a business owner I know how damaging reviews can be to a company.
A VERY SAD MOTHER/GRANDMOTHER AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER.

Do not purchase from this company. They are sending products from China, so very slow shipping. Gave me a bogus shipping confirmation that was invalid. I asked to return because it arrived well past the date needed and they told me, although the item came from California, I would have to pay return shipping to China. The car door sills do not even fit on the car magnetically, so useless. Don’t use this company. Horrible customer service with a total runaround.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Company is a scam. Took my money over 2wks ago and no shipping confirmation, no working phone number to call, email response to messages is bogus bot response. DONT BUY FROM CARDOORSILLS.COM, it's all a scam to take your money with no recourse to get product or your money. Site needs shut down.

Like others I didn't realize this was not a US company. Horrible customer service - email only and takes days. Only refund option is 20% for defective product

Rip off- big time! Put an order in to try a set of these sills on 12/26/23- have seen nothing yet, they took my ~$60. Called the number my bank statement had to try to find out what happened- busy of course, perpetually!

Wish I saw the reviews first. Not a US company - product ships from China and the product is OK not great. But the door sill lighting will not stick as advertised and it is too small so I tried to return it. BS has to ship to china and will cost more than the $49 to get the refund. 3 days to get a reply via email and clearly they do not speak english. Their goal is for you to go away. offered 20% refund and I keep the product or ship it back to china and I have no confidence I'll get the refund and then I'm out the shipping. Find a US company if you're looking for these products.... Frustrated for sure

They are a bunch of liars, there website shows they have a US address but they are in China, the return policy on their website is a lie, they take 3+ days to respond. I placed an order on December for a Dodge Charger immediately when I received the confirmation I saw it said Dodge Challenger so I contact them, 3 days later they said sorry it was already shipped, weeks later I get the package which I knew was going to be wrong. I contact them to get the return label and they tell me sorry that they can't and that it's my reponsibility. They can give me a
20% partial refund that will be credited back to the original payment method.
50% refund in the form of a gift card that can be used for your next purchase with us.

I sent them a screen shot of their own site and she just responded with the same options. They steal your money, they don't want to help and then think that after they clearly lied about where they are, what the refund policy is that you'd accept a credit to give them more money. They are a bunch of scammers.

This is a terrible company. Horrible customer service. Do not shop here. They sell inferior products, then fail to respond to emails and requests to return or refund. After 15 emails, they continue to ask the same questions over and over, after not responding to 10 of them. Horrible. Don’t waste your time.

Worst customer service. Supposedly they have an office in Canada and it has taken multiple emails to get any kind of a response from an actual human. Had to dispute the charge on my credit card. This company expects the customer to pay for the return to CHINA!! They inform you that there will be taxes and tariffs added to the cost of the return. I ordered the lighted door sills for my 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport. The product works, and they are pretty cool, but one had a very tiny corner piece that was broken. It did not affect the operation of the door sills. The two issues that I have with the product is that the sills do not adhere to my door sill because it seems that my door sills have a plastic Hyundai design and of course, the magnetic strength on the lighted door sills is not strong enough to go through what is on my car. I also ordered an item that is supposed to hold extra items by sliding it between a car seat and the center console. It arrived a month after the the door sills and it's a total piece of garbage. It is too big and takes up seating on the drivers side and passenger side. It arrived with a small tear in the faux leather siding and it is the ugliest piece of crap that you can imagine. Looked nothing like what was on their website! The company is now refusing to respond to my complaints with my credit card company and as of this writing on 1/09/24, my credit card company is supposedly handling it. The total cost of this garbage is $80.10. I have asked this company to send me a prepaid shipping label and to refund my money but they refuse. STAY AWAY from them. They are a total rip-off! I'm looking for more review sites to post my reviews about this company!

I ordered the BMW LED door sills as a Christmas gift and now I can't even give it to them. First of all, it took a month to get to me because it comes from China not the address of their business that is on their website which is in the United States, supposedly. The item came scuffed, scratched and it looked like someone just pulled it off of their car bagged it, stapled it shut, boxed it up and shipped of an ugly pair of used door sills. Disappointing to say the least. Don't waste your time or money with this website. 100% a scam.

SCAM WEBSITE. Item arrived bent in half, from China, not NY. Then, you can't ever reach anyone to fix it. I've sent pictures and asked for a refund and I get automated " yes your order was delivered"
You will need to dispute it. Upon further review I see multiple places online that say straight up its a scam website, and I am a fool for not double checking. I have contacted them two times before final submitting a dispute with my credit card.

We ordered 4 light sets as gifts, shipping did take longed than expected but the site is legit and we did receive items. Ordered 12/18 received 1/2. Customer service answered emails and let me know when they were shipped. I saw sites giving bad reviews after placing order but their experience was not mine. Does ship from china

I placed an order for door sills in early December as a Christmas gift and now we are in January and still nothing. They have an auto email response and don't reply to actually answer concerns. I want a refund because this is a total scam.

Company claims package was delivered but that is not true. I have a ring camera and no package was ever delivered on 12/26

Horrible company. I placed an order December 6th and still have not received it. Emails were sent and they responded with some weird message that made no sense. Then the tracking number they sent me was not valid. Then one week later is was and said it left China. Still nothing. I lost over $100 and it was a Christmas gift for my grandson. I am so annoyed with scammers. I will dispute on my credit card

DO NOT ORDER from this company. It’s a scam!!! Placed an order 3 weeks ago. Never got a confirmation email, no shipping info and nothing as to date. Tried to reach them twice through email, as that’s the only point of contact. Never received a reply back. Good to take your money but not deliver your product. Save your money people!!

Placed oder 2 weeks ago,never received any acknowledgment if shipping or when I would receive package, no response to calls or emails. I hope people who operate these scam businesses experience karma!

The website says 7-10 days for delivery. The product is coming from China so good luck with that. Customer service told be 21 days, so no Merry Christmas on this gift. Big Scam!
