Unacceptable Delays & Unprofessional
This has been an incredibly frustrating and unacceptable experience.
Our flooring installation began on 27 January and more than two weeks later our staircase is still unfinished. We were clearly told the entire job would be completed within three days — that promise was completely inaccurate.
Communication has been poor, reactive, and inconsistent. No proactive updates, no confirmation materials were ready before sending installers out.
To make matters worse, the unfinished staircase has been left with loose nails and exposed staples, creating a genuine safety hazard for our home, guests, children, and pets.
Extremely disappointed. This level of disorganisation and disregard for safety is unacceptable.

Don't shop anywhere else for your flooring!! Prices are very reasonable and the service was fantastic! Tom, the floor layer was due to arrive for the job at 9am, he was here at 8.59! Bloody great for a tradie to be on time. He did a amazing job. Roger the owner, was very hospitable and prompt! Family owned is much better than big companies! Thanks again carpet call, Minyama

Never again will I order from Carpet Call
I was delivered a different colour rug from the one I ordered. Unable to wrap rug back into original packaging to return it and was exhausted with the whole process. The delivery system kept notifying me the rug was coming within an hour and never showed up. Had to complain to receive it. Took 4 days of waiting.

Was extremely disappointed with level of customer service…
Was extremely disappointed with level of customer service. Ordered indoor shutters for 4 windows in mid April 2025, and was advised they would be ready to install by mid August 2025 which was on track. However measurements for one window was completely wrong and another shutter needed to be reordered and told we had to wait another 4 months. Had to constantly chase up and was told over phone call it would be a priority to be installed before Christmas which did not happen as installers were booked out. Come January after more unanswered phone calls and emails, we were forced to go to office / warehouse for a response and resolution, which staff eventually found order at the end of the day. Still took another 2 to 3 weeks of us following up with phone calls for the job to be completed on 2 February 2026, almost one year after original order was placed. This was completely unacceptable given we had paid in full and was left up to us to constantly follow up. Although there was no issue with the product or installation will not recommend Carpet Call to anyone.

Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service.
Blinds delivered were different to what I ordered and one was the completely wrong colour.
Was told that the blinds were not able to be made to the specification that I had ordered despite being told by their blind specialist they could.
The wrong coloured blind was due to be remade…5 weeks after paying in full blind is still not remade and operations manager and area manager are not responding to emails.
Very disappointing customer service and after care.
Once your money has been taken the service disappears!
Would not recommend if you live in Perth

I did exactly what Carpet Call said to do in their computer generated reply and suprise suprise nothing was done.
They are just another dodgy company that are happy to take your money. They do a crap job and dissappear into the night. With a bit of luck you will go broke... Fingers crossed.
I recently had them install timber look vinyl flooring in my house (biggest mistake of my life) and the job they did was disgraceful.
The cowboys they sent up from Sydney were absolute butchers.
Firstly they refused to start the job unless I paid another $1800 (cash) which I begrudgingly accepted. That brought the price up from $6100 to $7900.
They damaged freshly painted walls, left ardit on walls, skirting boards, windows and blinds, trashed the door frames where they cut into them, used silastic to fill up the gaps where the vinyl wasn't cut properly. It wasn't even the correct colour.
They left a mess behind when the job was completed.
The levelling job they did was garbage. It's uneven, there's lumps in the floor, gaps everywhere around the edges that they blamed on the walls being out of square.
They turned up late both days, came unprepared and had to go and buy floor leveller as well as equipment to do the job. It was like it was their first day at doing this type of work.
Save yourself the headache that I had to endure and get your flooring from a reputable company with PROPER installers.
I will NEVER recommend Carpet Call to ANYONE, EVER.

Lack of Transparency
Extremely disappointing experience. I was never informed the installation would take multiple days and was asked to select only one install date. I had strata approval for one day only and had already booked non-refundable removalists to arrive the next day. I was only told the job would take longer when the installer arrived. The Moore Park store manager came to my apartment to give a quote and fully understood the scope of the work.
This caused major stress and forced last-minute changes, resulting in damaged tiles being left in place and uneven flooring throughout the apartment. I also paid for kitchen flooring and labour that were never completed.
Poor communication, incomplete work, and a sub-standard result with financial loss. I would not have proceeded had I been given accurate information upfront.

Roger at Minyama QLD was friendly, courteous and efficient. I was looking for a 12 metre hallway runner and Roger found me the most perfect, amazing quality carpet within minutes. Thanks Roger!

I experienced aggressive, misleading and completely unacceptable behaviour from Carpet Call Bankstown and their blinds division.
A staff member named Jerome rang me and aggressively demanded payment. When I stated that both sales representatives had told me the balance would be payable after installation, he repeatedly called me a liar. He then threatened to charge my credit card without my consent, despite me clearly objecting. I never authorised my card details to be stored.
He refused to provide a manager’s details or transfer me to a supervisor and spoke over me throughout the call.
The same conduct occurred with the blinds representative. In both cases:
Payment terms were misrepresented
Terms and conditions were not properly explained
I was rushed into paying a deposit
The area manager later confirmed:
The carpets have not been cut
The blinds have not been made or correctly measured
A refund would not be provided — only store credit
I did not sign the blinds quote, yet a deposit was taken. The signature on the carpet quote is not mine, and I did not authorise or agree to that quote or payment.
Head office refused to help.
This conduct raises serious concerns around misrepresentation, unauthorised use of payment details, and fraudulent documentation. I am now pursuing chargeback and consumer protection options through my bank.
Based on my experience, do not deal with Carpet Call Bankstown.
